Chapter 703: Chapter 369: Trouble Never Comes Alone (5 in 1)_5

Su Yuan saw the burly man standing at the front, and his face turned green.

"Don’t say anything, hurry inside."

Su Ming whispered to Su Yuan.

"Alright."

Su Yuan quickly responded.

The two of them sneaked inside, Su Ming stood at the end of the left line of the quasi-generals, while Su Yuan stood at the end of the right line.

Su Yuan looked at Su Ming standing opposite and immediately signaled for him to come over, reminding him that he was standing in the wrong place, that side was for the orthodox faction.

Su Ming slightly shook his head and did not go over.

At this moment, Admiral Taite looked at the two, his face as dark as could be. It’s bad enough that these two are late, but they’re also making sly gestures in front of him, and their hair is dyed like yellow straw, blatantly acting like spoiled heirs.

He roared like an angry lion.

"You two, step forward!"

Su Ming stood out with a helpless expression; he was truly screwed by this guy.

Su Yuan also stepped forward with a face full of anxiety.

Swoosh!

All the quasi-generals present focused their gaze on the two.

Admiral Taite strode over, looked viciously at the two, and yelled.

"On the first day of training, you two are late. We waited for you for a full half hour; on the battlefield, I would have shot you both."

"Sorry, Sir!"

Su Ming and Su Yuan shouted in unison.

"If apologies were useful, there wouldn’t be so many issues in this world. Look at yourselves. Do you look like officers? Not wearing uniforms is bad enough, but what’s with that dyed hair? When did the Federation Military Department become a den for hoodlums?"

Taite spewed his anger at Su Yuan.

Su Yuan’s face instantly turned green; he forgot to fix it.

Su Ming also displayed a helpless expression.

And just at that moment, a man dressed in a Colonel’s uniform, wearing black-rimmed glasses, and possessing a somewhat effeminate demeanor walked in and saluted Taite.

"Admiral Taite."

"What’s going on, Helado!"

Taite irritably turned his head to look at Colonel Helado.

"Quasi-General Su Ming and Quasi-General Su Yuan have violated military discipline. I need to take them to the Divine Word Court now; they’re waiting over there."

Helado said to Taite.

"Good! You two planning to break Military Department records, huh? Late on your first training day, and violated military discipline too!"

Admiral Taite was almost exploding with anger upon hearing this.

Su Yuan was dumbfounded; they’re actually going to the Divine Word Court for trial, this seems like it’s over for them!

At this point, many of the quasi-generals present showed unnatural expressions upon hearing "Divine Word Court," seemingly quite fearful of this department.

In fact, any officer who gets involved with the Divine Word Court doesn’t have a good ending; at the least, they’re stripped of their rank, at the worst, they’re incarcerated.

"Admiral Taite, please allow me to take them away; keeping the Commander waiting too long isn’t good."

Helado said to Admiral Taite.

"Hurry up then, and I’ll deal with you when you return!"

Admiral Taite said angrily to Su Ming and Su Yuan.

"Yes, Sir."

Su Ming and Su Yuan immediately responded.

The two of them then followed Helado to the elevator.

On the way, Su Yuan anxiously spoke to Su Ming.

"It’s over, the Divine Word Court is involved now."

"Don’t panic, take things as they come."

Su Ming steadily replied to Su Yuan.

"Alright."

Su Yuan felt slightly calmer seeing Su Ming’s composure.

Soon, Su Ming and Su Yuan followed Colonel Helado to the 18th floor, walked out of the elevator, and proceeded along a corridor lined with solemn soldiers.

They quickly reached the end and arrived at a tightly closed door.

Helado pushed open the door and said to Su Ming and Su Yuan.

"Please, gentlemen."

Su Ming and Su Yuan took a deep breath and braved themselves to step inside, entering into a spacious, ancient courtroom.

The courtroom featured a semi-circular judge’s bench at the front, with a judge wearing a red metallic mask seated at it.

On each side of the bench sat ten individuals in special black uniforms, wearing faceless metallic masks, their appearances indistinguishable.

The atmosphere in the courtroom was extremely heavy.

The chief judge closed both their files and then raised his head to glance at them, his murky eyes flickering slightly, he hoarsely spoke.

"They’re here; let’s begin."

The judge seated first on the left suddenly asked.

"Name yourselves."

"Federation Second Legion · Quasi-General Su Yuan."

"Federation Thirteen Legion · Quasi-General Su Ming."

Su Ming and Su Yuan replied in unison.

"Do you know why you two were summoned to the court?"

The judge continued to ask.

"Yes, we entered wormhole space-time without authorization from the Military Department."

Su Ming and Su Yuan nodded in response.

"Very well, now we’ll begin the questioning phase. Answer what we ask."

The judge sternly said to the two.

"Yes!"

Su Ming and Su Yuan replied with a serious expression.

The judge then looked at Su Yuan and asked.

"Su Yuan, I ask you! Did you illegally bring Shadler, a member of the Shabask Royal Family, into wormhole space-time?"

"Yes."

Su Yuan instinctively replied.

"Then are you aware of the crime!"

The judge sternly questioned.

Su Yuan was instantly confused upon hearing this, his brain momentarily short-circuited. He felt something wasn’t right! Normally, shouldn’t both he and Su Ming be culpable? Why does it seem like only he is now?

Su Ming was equally puzzled, unsure of the situation; were they planning to place all the blame solely on Su Yuan? He decisively spoke up.
