Secret Marriage, High-Profile Pampering!-Chapter 683: Shameless Little
His hand slid down her waist and lingered on her abdomen for a while.
Gently stroking her, again and again, the tenderness in his touch made Summer Sutton pause.
Summer fixated on his hand for a moment, then lifted her gaze, unable to resist glancing at his face, observing him closely.
Though ever since they got married, Adrian Walyon has treated Summer Sutton very well, she rarely saw moments of gentleness in his eyes.
Today was one of those rare times.
Because they mentioned children...
Adrian Walyon likes children, right?
Summer Sutton’s mind was a bit tumultuous all of a sudden.
...
Summer Sutton had just returned from abroad, her leave from the company was too long, she took a short rest at home in the morning, and immediately went to Royal Delight in the afternoon.
It’s already the end of the year, there are plenty of things going on at Royal Delight, work had to continue until New Year’s Eve.
Due to her leave, Summer Sutton had several times more work on her hands than others.
On New Year’s Eve, the Old Master of the Walyon Family had people prepare a table full of dishes, the family sat together lively, intending to gather, but only Summer Sutton’s presence was missing at the dining table.
The Old Master stared at Summer Sutton’s seat for quite a while, seemingly unhappy.
Adrian Walyon couldn’t care less, since Summer Sutton hadn’t come back, he didn’t dine with the others but decided to wait for her to eat together.
Sophie Walyon was setting off fireworks in the courtyard, running around joyously with handheld fireworks.
"Bro, do you want to join?" He glanced at Adrian Walyon, asking.
"Have fun." Adrian tossed back a remark and turned to chat with Summer Sutton on the phone.
"Has everyone left the company?"
"Yeah, just me with more work, piled up for more than a month." Summer Sutton said while flipping through documents.
"It’s very lively at home tonight, Grandpa had prepared a lavish dinner, Sophie is setting off fireworks, but I still feel something’s missing." Adrian was subtly hinting to her step by step.
He actually wanted to convey the idea that if the house had one more child, it would be even livelier.
Such a big family like the Walyon Family isn’t it fond of having lots of people, branches spreading wide?
Unexpectedly, Summer Sutton was puzzled for a moment, then blurted out, "Because I’m missing!"
Adrian Walyon was seriously stumped by her.
This girl when shameless, is almost like him!
He smirked slightly, asking about his concerns, "Have you eaten? I didn’t eat with the family, should I deliver something to you?"
"No need, I’ll try to finish quickly and come back to eat with you, I’ll hang up first." Summer Sutton hung up the phone, and as she returned to work, the corners of her lips remained slightly lifted.
Once she started working overtime, she didn’t finish until after eleven at night.
Worried about her safety returning home so late, Adrian Walyon drove to the outside of Royal Delight Tower.
Every street was adorned with festive lights for the New Year.
As soon as Summer Sutton walked out, she saw him standing under the warm glow, wearing a black coat.
Summer quickened her pace and walked over to him in just a few steps.
Adrian Walyon wrapped her hands and took her to the car, driving her back to the Walyon family mansion.
When they returned, it was surprising to Adrian that the Old Master hadn’t gone to bed yet.
The elderly man had just given Sophie Walyon a bulging red envelope, almost bursting, and slowly raised his face, turning his gaze to Summer Sutton.
He clearly had anticipated this, offering another prepared red envelope on the table to her.
Summer Sutton was taken aback and didn’t take it.
