Saving The Villainous Monster From The Male Lead-Chapter 39 - 38: Stella’s Anger
For days, Stella refused to even talk about Caelestis forget meeting up with him after everything that happened. She would lock herself in that room, with a single person. Her new friend, Eleanore. And while Elenore didn’t hate spending time with her all day, she felt sad seeing her in that helpless state.
Eleanore refused Caelestis’ request to meet Stella almost everyday. Surprisingly, he would leave with a sad face, instead of showing off his usual madness. Eleanore felt bad for him, seeing his broken heart, made her heart ache.
Why does my heart ache for this man, who almost killed me a few days ago?
"The tea, My lady." A maid appeared in the garden, where Stella and Eleanore were resting.
It took a lot of effort for Eleanore to get Stella out of her room and drag her into the huge garden to grab some fresh air. Stella simply stared at the bright cloudy sky for hours, until her neck started to ache forcing her to look at the person sitting opposite him.
"My Lady." The maid called Eleanore, after pouring a cup for Stella as well. "My Lord has ordered me to accompany you both until Marina returns." Her head remained low, respectfully as she explained the order of her employer.
"Understood. You may leave for now." Eleanore ordered.
The maid nodded and moved about ten steps back ways before stopping and turning around, fixing herself to that spot.
Caelestis must have asked her to remain around Stella all along. Eleanore felt a little sad that the effort was not for her but for Stella, but she quickly shook away this empty pity she felt for herself.
"Have you truly given up on the Grand Duke?" Stella spoke up out of nowhere.
Eleanore, who was busy enjoying her tea in silence, was caught off guard making her puke out everything in her mouth. She coughed as she felt pain in her throat and nose before whipping her mouth with a wet towel and then turned to Stella, who simply looked at the stunned new friend of hers.
"Maybe." Eleanore replied after pondering over that question for a while.
"Honestly, Lady Eleanore. If I were you I would have given up on him long ago." A pang of self realisation filled her heart, when Stella said those words.
"Indeed." Eleanore began. "But he loves you." She finally raised her head to meet her gaze with Stella’s.
"No. He is obsessed with me, just the way you were with him." Stella explained, picking up her hot cup of tea and finishing it in one sip. "I am happy to hear that you have given up on that jerk." She said, with a gentle smile. Her eyes were blank with no emotions.
"Have I?" Eleanore wondered. She absolutely hated this man to the core. He is a violent, ruthless monster, who is ready to kill someone only because they tried to help him. But then again, he didn’t know that Eleanore was helping him.
Considering the kind of acts the original owner of this body has pulled, can she really blame him for that action?
"I need rest." Stella said, leaving her seat. "I am leaving."
Stella started on the brick road ahead.
"We will be going on a walk in the evening as well. Remember?" Eleanore reminded her the words of the doctor who had checked her up the very next day, she left the side house.
"I remember." She shook her head in disbelief. "Don’t treat me like a child."
When she left the garden, the maid followed her back as well, proving Eleanore right. She was indeed sent by Caelestis to keep a watch on Stella, not to help her. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞
Eleanore let out a sigh in exhaustion.

"I will create an opportunity for you two to meet up." Eleanore said to Caelestis before leaving for the evening walk with Stella.
They were half way in the garden, when Eleanore started the act she had prepared. She held Stella’s hand, stopping her forwarding feet. "I forgot the shawl." Eleanore said, confusing Stella.
"Yes," Eleanore began. "The secret garden has very cold breezes." She explained.
"We can share." Stella suggested, opening up the shawl wrapped around her, gesturing to Eleanore to get in it as well.
When Eleanore didn’t move, she tried to wrap the shawl around her but Eleanore dodged it. She moved back and started back to the mansion.
"Stay here. I’ll quickly get it." Eleanore said, leaving Stella along with the new maid.
"Is it true?" Stella, stunned, turned to her maid.
"Indeed, My lady. It becomes very cold in the evening." The maid explained, aware that she was lying. The garden becomes cold in the evening. That fact is true but it doesn’t get so cold that you might need a shawl.
Eleanore quickly entered the mansion, where Caelestis was waiting for her at the entrance. It was all planned. Eleanore was fulfilling her promise of creating opportunities for the two. For Caelestis to make Stella fall for him in the right way.
"Here, your shawl." Caelestis handed over the shawl, he was holding on to make things easier for Eleanore.
"Go, quickly." Eleanore said, as she snatched her shawl from him.
She stood there as she saw him disappear in the dark.
