Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 503: "You pervert...!"
Thus he rushed to the only person who could help him. His character professed his love to Bi Yize and he begged for him to take him away but Bi Yize ignored his cries. He mentioned something about his father and that he was sorry.
Qie Xieling’s character heard the door open and turned around. Right at the door was Master Bi standing there looking at him with a dark expression. That day Master Bi wanted to beat him in anger but he just dragged him by his hair and threw him in the smallest cage he could possibly fit in.
Seeing how pathetic he looked, Master Bi sneered before saying, "No one can rescue you... Who do you think told me where you were?" His character finally realised why Bi Yize was apologising. He had foolishly believed all the sweet words out of Bi Yize’s mouth. The feeling of betrayal was unbearable.
Now Bi Yize was standing in front of him declaring his love for him. With a steady gaze, he said, "Xieling, I know I have let you down in the past. I know I’ve wronged you in the past," his voice carrying the weight of his regret. "But in the time we’ve spent apart, I have come to realise the depth of my feelings for you. I love you more than I ever thought possible."
As he spoke, Bi Yize couldn’t help but feel his heart racing, his palms growing slick with sweat. He had no idea how Qie Xieling would respond, but he knew he couldn’t hold these feelings inside any longer.
"I want to be with you. I want to hold you and kiss you. I want to wake up with you by my side every morning and fall asleep with you every night. I want to build a future with you. Just... just give me a chance. This time I will do right by you." He reached out to hold Qie Xieling’s hand but Qie Xieling dodged and stepped back clearly rejecting him.
His expression a mask of conflicting emotions, gazed steadily at Bi Yize, his eyes reflecting the pain of betrayal. "Young master Bi, your words come too late," he replied, his voice tinged with irritation. "The wounds you inflicted run deep, and time cannot easily heal them. My heart cannot simply forget the pain you caused... The Qie Xieling from back then who needed you no longer exists. You had your chance and you blew it."
Bi Yize took a step closer, his hands reaching out again in a desperate plea. "Xieling, I understand that I may not deserve your forgiveness, but I am willing to spend the rest of my days proving the sincerity of my love. Please, give me a chance to make amends, to show you the depth of my devotion."
Qie Xieling shook his head, his eyes glistening with anger. "I am already a married man and it is too late to show your so-called devotion. It is about time you move on. It’s no use wasting the young master’s time."
Bi Yize’s shoulders slumped, his expression a mix of defeat and sadness. "But he doesn’t even want to stay married with you. He is already planning to marry the young miss of the Zi family. Would you be able to handle being a concubine and taking orders from her?"
Qie Xieling knew what was coming if he failed to knock some sense into Luo Muchen. There was no need for Bi Yize to repeat it to him. "I know... but believe it or not I actually love him. He has a pig’s brain sometimes but he was nice to me despite being deceived into marrying me. If it was anyone else I wouldn’t be breathing right now. I will remain loyal to him until he doesn’t need me to," said Qie Xieling his eyes glinting with an unknown emotion.
Bi Yize didn’t push it. He was a very patient man when it came to such matters. He would patiently wait for Luo Muchen to screw up which he will and then swoop in like a knight to save the damsel.
"I will respect your decision," he said, his voice heavy with resignation. "But know that my love for you will endure, even if it remains unreciprocated. I will carry the weight of my mistakes and the memory of your rejection as a constant reminder of the love I lost through my own folly."
With a heavy heart, Bi Yize turned and walked away, leaving Qie Xieling standing alone, the echoes of his unspoken love lingering in the still air. He sighed deeply before walking back to the inn. Rejecting someone was so hard and it took everything out of him.
As soon as he left Luo Muchen came out with a face full of confusion. He stood frozen for a moment his heart pounding in his chest. He couldn’t believe what he had just heard. Qie Xieling had just rejected Bi Yize’s advances and declared that he was in love with him. The words echoed in Luo Muchen’s mind, shattering the carefully constructed walls he had built around his emotions.
Their marriage was born from deception thus he never entertained the idea that Qie Xieling might have genuine feelings for him. But now, standing in the shadows, he couldn’t deny the truth staring him in the face.
A whirlwind of emotions swept through him - confusion, disbelief, and a flicker of hope. Hope that maybe, just maybe, he would finally have someone with his back. The wife and family he always wanted. As he struggled to compose himself he realised that he needed to confront Qie Xieling.
When he opened the door of the room his steps froze in place. Qie Xieling was standing with his inner shirt hanging loosely around his arms, revealing a toned stomach and an alluring trail of hair leading down to his waistband. His long hair cascaded down his back in waves, partially hiding the hickeys that adorned his neck and chest.
His skin was as smooth as silk, and his eyes blazed with a raw intensity that was hard to ignore. Every inch of him exuded sensuality, from the way he was peeling off his clothes to the way he tilted his head just so. It was as though he knew the effect he had on others.
He glanced over his shoulder and met Luo Muchen’s lustful gaze. He pulled his clothes up and scolded him, "You pervert. What are you looking at." 𝒻𝓇𝑒𝘦𝘸𝑒𝒷𝓃ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝒸ℴ𝘮
