Saving the Heartthrob Frenemy-Chapter 501: Punishment
Qie Xieling couldn’t believe how much of a flirt this man was. He shoved him to the side and walked past him. Luo Muchen followed after him his gaze lingering on that perfectly sculpted butt outlined underneath the fabric.
He averted his gaze realising his mind was heading into dangerous territory. He rubbed the tip of his nose lightly before asking, "How did she get into your room?" 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚
Qie Xieling wanted to ignore him but damn he couldn’t help himself. He replied, "The window," in a monotonous tone.
"Should I bolt the windows next time?" he said and Qie Xieling didn’t turn back as he replied,
"You can do that with your future wife, not me."
Luo Muchen was trying to make some playful banter but who would have thought that he had dropped a rock on his own foot? He grabbed Qie Xieling’s arm and pulled him back as they stepped out of the inn. He forced him to walk alongside him before saying, "Can’t you reconsider?"
Qie Xieling knew what he was talking about and struggled to restrain his anger. Reconsider what? Being his concubine? Fuck no?! He would rather be single in this world if that was the case.
He sneered before saying, "What do you take me for? Do I look like the type who would share my man with anyone?... Luo Muchen, I would rather stay single if that’s the case." After saying that he walked ahead while mumbling, "You are freaking ruining my appetite you asshole."
Luo Muchen tried to grab Qie Xieling’s hand but Qie Xieling shook him off and kept walking but Luo Muchen wouldn’t let him go that easily. He pulled him into his arms disregarding the people around them. He wrapped his arms around Qie Xieling’s waist trapping him in place.
"Let go," said Qie Xieling while trying to shake him off and Luo Muchen whispered into his ear.
"You are going the wrong way. The restaurant is that way," he said and Qie Xieling almost melted in his arms. Like an iron to a magnet, he was drawn to him and couldn’t stop himself.
His heart raced as Luo Muchen’s voice reverberated in his ears, sending shivers down his spine. He tried to ignore the sensations, but it was no use.
The voice was like a siren’s call, luring him towards danger. He felt his knees growing weak and his heart pounding in his chest. It was like Luo Muchen had cast a spell over him, one that couldn’t be broken easily. "Fine, you can let go," he said. Luo Muchen was reluctant to let go but he still loosened his grip.
There wasn’t even a need to mention the reaction of the passersby. This kind of display of affection was rare and most would deem it shameful but the two of them looked so good together that it was hard to judge them.
Luo Muchen grabbed his hand their fingers intertwined. Qie Xieling felt a feeling of warmth and connection as if the two of them had become one. The sensation of touching skin to skin, bone to bone, created an indescribable feeling of closeness and comfort. The touch of Luo Muchen’s hand calmed his nerves and put him at ease, making him feel safe and protected.
Qie Xieling was shy at first especially with all those eyes staring at them but soon he tightened his grip slightly while letting Luo Muchen lead him into the restaurant.
Bo Ailun rushed over when he saw Luo Muchen enter but his gaze soon dropped at their joined hands. He raised his brow and said, "Young Master." Qie Xieling quickly shook off Luo Muchen’s hand and Luo Muchen felt a slight sense of dejection. He glared at Bo Ailun and the man felt his entire body shiver under that glare.
"I prepared a private room for the two of you," he said but when he turned to look at Qie Xieling he was gone. Luo Muchen turned to look at his side and found there was no one. In place of Qie Xieling was just air.
The person had already sat next to his maidservant looking so eager to have food. Luo Muchen turned to follow him and Bo Ailun tried to say something but the man ignored him and sat next to Qie Xieling. At this rate, not only Master Lee but Master Zi would find out how close and flirtatious he had become with his wife. This wasn’t good for either of them.
Luo Muchen sat down beside Qie Xieling his hand resting on his waist. Good thing there was a wall beside them otherwise someone would have witnessed such a scene. Qie Xieling pushed his hand off but Luo Muchen was so stubborn. He moved a little closer till their thighs were touching and he leaned in close before whispering, "Let’s go to a private room."
Qie Xieling, "..."
The words sounded innocent but when they were coming from his mouth they sounded roguish. Qie Xieling propped his head with his fist and turned to look at him before asking, "Do I look stupid to you?"
Luo Muchen stared at him for a long time having been found out. He had been seen through. He could touch to his heart’s content in the private room.
"You can go by yourself," he said and Jolie laughed her ass off finding amusement in Luo Muchen’s pain. Lucky for Luo Muchen he didn’t have to be laughed at for long because the food was brought over to their table. But soon the faces of the two dropped when they saw how bland the food was. Let alone spice there looked like there was no oil in it.
"You monster," whispered Jolie while Qie Xieling echoed her sentiment.
"Can I have something else like spicy mouth-numbing noddles with a side of skewers?" he asked but the waiter just looked at Luo Muchen. Seeing that he didn’t say anything he bowed his head slightly and left.
"What about wine? I want some peach blossom wine. Hey, hey... where are you going?" called out a dissatisfied Jolie but the waiter pretended like his ears were stuffed with ear wax.
"Are you punishing us? Is that it?... I don’t even like your wife if you are jealous. He is not my type. If anything I would pick chubs over here," said Jolie and Bo Ailun almost choked on his rice.
