Chapter 75: Chapter 62: Huns and Polyra

_______

In a large, luxurious bathtub surrounded by women sat a man who had a smirk as he started at the yellow screen before him. The women in the bath rubbed his body with a sponge as they giggled seductively around him. The air was warm and humid, and the steam from the hot water created an almost otherworldly atmosphere.

His skin was the color of chocolate, and he had long, shimmering crystal yellow hair that matched his piercing crystal yellow eyes, which glinted in the dim light. He had a wicked grin on his face as he stared at the screen in front of him, "Ahahhaha," the man laughed maniacally, "Now things are starting to get hella interesting," the man with brown skin chuckled, brushing his yellow hair back to reveal his bright crystal-like yellow eyes fixated on the image of Iris.

"What’s so interesting Huns?" one of the women behind him purred seductively and Huns looked at her coldly.

"You must refer to me as prince Huns," he said coldly, and the woman shivered. Huns then flicked his fingers and in a few seconds all the laughter in the bath disappeared. He then got up and use used a towel to wrap around his lower body and then walked out of the bath and ten guards escorted him out.

Two maids then entered the bath to see the floor’s water dyed red as faint strings would be seen around the room. The fifteen women in the bath all had their heads gruesomely twisted, causing the two maids to tremble in terror.

A luxurious and highly decorated meeting room, with one long table on the western side of the room. The walls are covered with large paintings depicting various historical battles; including many involving knights. A large statue is set up at the far end of the room that looked like that of a winged lion, and jr was surrounded by green balls of light.

Huns sat on a large seat across the table and around it were older men and women and the younger ones stood by Hun’s side.

Huns frowned as he read some notes on his clipboard. When a middle-aged man asked him frantically, "Your Highness, please, the second prince has arrived unharmed from the battle, what are we going to do?"

"Why should I care?"

"Your position as a crown prince can be threatened, your Highness. We’re really worried about you," a middle-aged woman blurted out with a concerned look, but Huns chuckled at their act.

’As if, they’re all just worried about their position of power being threatened. They enjoyed a lot of the benefits they received from siding with me, so now they are unwilling to lose that power. They sided with my faction after all, so if the second prince becomes king they might be banished,’ Huns thought with a smirk. 𝑓𝘳𝑒𝑒𝓌𝘦𝘣𝘯ℴ𝑣𝘦𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝑚

"Do you really think there’s anyone who can actually threaten my position?" Huns asked and the people murmured to each other, but when they witnessed Huns’ dark glare they immediately turned pale.

"No your highness, this advisor spoke foolish words," the middle-aged woman smiled wryly and rubbed her palms together.

’Sigh this meeting is so boring, I want to level up quickly, so I can meet Iris one day,’ Huns thought as he remembered Iris’ image and blushed.

"Did she catch your eyes, master?" A fair middle-aged man with curly green hair and dark black eyes with a yellow pearl shape in his pupil asked. He looked at Huns with a dull look, and Huns nodded. Despite him speaking with the man, no one in the room seemed to notice his presence.

’Indeed, she’s the most beautiful woman I’ve ever seen. Ruig!’ Huns’ eyes sparkled and Ruig rolled his eyes and scoffed.

"She can kill you though," Ruig stated and Huns shrugged for he was not concerned about that.

’Who cares? I’m just hoping she’s not like the others,’ Huns said in his head.

"She’s our enemy, though."

’I’m not concerned about that too. All that matters is those beautiful eyes, I can relate with them,’ Hun smiled as he remembered Iris’ cold and dark eyes.

’Maybe the Diamond gems take fancy to the most twisted of people,’ Huns thought as he drew some letters on the table, and the youth behind him nodded before leaving the room.

"You all should calm down. When I said I’m going to become King I mean it. And none of my thirteen brothers are going to stop me from achieving my goal!" Huns declared coldly and the people in the room gave him nervous smiles.

"So please could you all keep quiet so I can discuss with you the next phase of my plans?" Huns asked with an amiable smile with caused them to shiver.

In a luxurious brown crystal room, an extremely tall woman was braiding her daughter’s scruffy crystal brown hair. The woman had long brown hair like her daughter’s and looked similar to the little girl, but the most noticeable thing able to her was the several cracks on her face and the rainbow-colored gem on her chest. She is holding an ornate comb in one hand, while the other hand strokes her daughter’s hair gently with tender affection. She looked tired but happy to spend time with her child. Many people of different colors stood at the corners of the room as they quietly watched them.

The room is furnished with fine furniture and paintings, including a portrait of the tall woman who looked younger and more vibrant.

The young girl, who looked like a teenager, directed her finger toward the luminescent brown screen before her. Her mother, startled, relinquished her grasp on the comb she had been holding and trembled with fear. Bewildered by her mother’s sudden change in demeanor, the young girl inquired, "What’s wrong, mother?"

"Polyra... it cannot be possible for a Diamond to wield two gems," her mother’s voice quivered. "It’s not possible! I remember clearly the war with the white Diamond, she tried to fuse me with another Diamond, but it ended up as a failure and my body was destroyed. If not for my gems who saved me by fusing my body with a Regal’s core, I would have died." The woman’s hand shook, and the girl tenderly grasped it to calm her mother’s nerves.

"Why is it not possible, mother? Maybe she should have tried with other Diamonds," Polyra asked, a sly smile playing across her face, causing her mother to shudder with unease. Yet, just as quickly, she composed herself.

"She attempted the feat with other Diamonds, but all of them failed," the woman divulged, her words heavy with apprehension. "Most of them could not withstand the overwhelming power and perished by their body exploding. But for someone to possess the capability to wield both gems... it is a walking nightmare. The power to create and destroy resting in the hands of a single individual."

"I find it quite fascinating. Dearest mother, could this mean that all of the Diamonds shall finally unite?" Polyra inquired with eyes brimming with anticipation.

"Indeed. If we are to vanquish the Regals, we must locate Iris, the Black and Purple Diamond," the woman declared, determination alight in her gaze.

"I wonder if she is terrifying. Observe those lifeless eyes, she seems traumatized," Polyra gestured to Iris’ image, prompting a frown from her mother.

"Polyra, do not underestimate her. Be cautious," the woman warned. Polyra nodded in response before rising from the bed.

"Of course, I won’t, mother Brown Diamond."

"I don’t like her, though. Even if she’s not the original Black Diamond she’s still the inheritor, so she’s probably a horrible person," Brown stated before pursing her lips. "Perhaps we should delegate her handling to someone else."

Polyra looked at her coldly, ’Mother is such a coward,’ Polyra seethed inwardly.

"It’s beautiful!" The floating castle, with its triangular shape and blue iridescent sheen, descended from the sky as the fair young girl beside the old man exclaimed in admiration and awe. The castle approached with a glistening appearance of molten dark blue metal, and a large circular-shaped building pulsating a blue glow surrounded it.

"It looks to be made of some sort of metal," the girl said to the old man beside her, and the people behind them couldn’t stop murmuring to each other.

Unlike any metal the girl had seen before, the castle’s beauty shimmered and gleamed even without the sun’s rays. The castle landed on the ground, its lower body drilling into the ground, leaving the circular building and upper building, where the girl could see people moving about inside the building.

"Father, is this really where the great magician lives?" the girl asked, and her father nodded solemnly. "Indeed, but he likes to refer to himself as a scientist. He gets a bit cranky when people call him a magician, so please avoid saying that before him when we meet him."

"Okay father," the girl said and turned to see a large door open as a dozen men and women came out.

"Please the master is ready to see you. King of Rasun," a cyborg woman walked to the old man and smiled.

The king nodded as followed her with his daughter and guards, who followed her toward the entrance.

"We would only allow twelve people to follow us. You see, our master has had some cases of people trying to steal stuff from his home, so we would like to avoid that," a fox-tailed girl appeared and glared at them and the cyborg woman nodded, affirming the girl’s words.
