Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 266 - 252: Flonkong Organization
A wave of disappointment washed over Demetrius, his jaw tightening as he bit his lip. ’If I want to get everyone out of that hellhole, I’ve got to make a gamble here!’ he thought, his mind racing.
"Aurianna, since we’re already saving people from my crew and their families, why not add his family too?" Saem suggested cautiously.
"Too troublesome," Aurianna scoffed, waving dismissively.
Demetrius clenched his fists, his voice firm as he looked at Aurianna. "I’m ready to offer the lives of everyone in my family to you! Not for you to kill them, but to serve as your subordinates. You’re a noble, aren’t you? Surely you can make use of us!"
His boldness drew startled glances from Saem, Bartholomew, and Peter, but Aurianna tilted her head, intrigued. A slow smirk tugged at her lips. "Oh? Now you have my attention."
’I was going to agree anyway,’ she thought, amused by his determination. ’But this is better.’
"Fine, I’ll relent," she said, leaning back casually, "How many family members are we talking about?"
"Three hundred demons from my village!" Demetrius declared, his voice filled with hope. "They’re all trapped in a certain room, inside of the Flonkong Organization."
Aurianna raised a brow, her expression unimpressed. "Three hundred, huh? That’s quite the number. Alright, I’ll save them."
Demetrius’s face lit up, his relief palpable. "Thank you so much!"
Aurianna’s smile turned sharp. "Don’t thank me yet. You will search for them, not me. I’ll make sure their people don’t harm you during the process, but that’s it. Does that sound fair?"
Demetrius bowed deeply. "It’s more than fair. Thank you, Miss Aurianna!"

As evening fell, the group gathered near the front gates of the hotel, the atmosphere tense with anticipation. People milled about, whispering among themselves, their faces obscured by masks.
"Seems like a lot of these folks are actually coming to the Flonkong Organization like us," Elena murmured, leaning closer to Aurianna’s ear.
Aurianna turned slightly to glance at her. "Wow, you’re short," she remarked, noticing how Elena had to stand on her toes to reach her ear.
Elena huffed. "And you’re ridiculously tall," she muttered before continuing. "Anyway, I noticed everyone’s wearing masks."
Aurianna nodded. "And so are we. It’s to hide our identities, of course."
Elena shrugged. "Something like that."
"Is everyone ready?" Peter called out, standing at the head of the group.
Aurianna scoffed, crossing her arms. "Did you really need to ask?"
Soon, they began boarding the carriages. Each was large enough to accommodate thirty people, spacious and elegantly designed. Peter approached one of the drivers, handing over a ticket. The masked driver examined it briefly, then gave a curt nod, signaling them to enter.
Inside, Aurianna and her group found themselves pleasantly surprised. The carriage interior was far more luxurious than expected, with plush seats and a table in the center laden with an assortment of sweets and drinks. However, there were no windows—just sleek walls.
"Who’s she?" Aurianna asked, her gaze narrowing as she noticed the unfamiliar woman sitting among Peter’s group.
"She’s my sister, Yelina," Batholem introduced with a proud smile.
Yelina studied Aurianna carefully. ’So, this is the girl my brother likes?’ she thought, her eyes briefly scanning Aurianna. *’She’s undeniably pretty.’
"A pleasure to meet you. I’m Aurianna Vanluad," Aurianna said, offering a polite smile.
"I’m Yelina Hupan. It’s a pleasure to make your acquaintance," Yelina replied gracefully, her tone formal.
Curiosity sparked in Aurianna’s mind as she tried to check Yelina’s level, but to her surprise, she hit a block. ’Huh? I can’t see her level. Interesting,’ she mused, her smile never faltering.
Yelina cleared her throat, her voice calm yet assertive. "I’ll be accompanying you all to ensure your safety. My partners will ride in another carriage, as their mission is separate from ours. Once we arrive, they will focus on their objectives, and I will assist you with yours."
Batholem frowned, crossing his arms with an exaggerated pout. "Do you not think we can handle ourselves, Yelina?"
Yelina’s calm expression remained intact, but inside, she was melting. ’Ahhh, my little brother is so adorable! He’s an angel! My sweet baby brother!’ Her thoughts were in stark contrast to the cold gaze she turned toward Aurianna, who was now helping herself to the pastries laid out in the carriage.
’My true reason for coming is to protect him from her in case something goes wrong,’ Yelina thought grimly, though her focus wavered as her eyes landed on a mochi cake. ’Oh, mochi cake!’ She grabbed one and stuffed it into her mouth.
"Seems a bit crowded in here," Aurianna grumbled, her tone mildly annoyed. While the space was hardly cramped, her complaint drew amused glances from Elena and Jugi.
After a few minutes of light chatter, the carriage came to a halt. The masked driver opened the door with a polite bow, gesturing toward their destination. "We’ve arrived," he announced.
As they stepped out, a massive underground city unfolded before them. The dimly lit area was filled with a towering building, one of which stood out—a grand structure bearing the Flonkong Organization emblem. The group moved toward its entrance, where a line of masked security guards meticulously checked each visitor. 𝕗𝕣𝐞𝐞𝘄𝐞𝚋𝚗𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗹.𝚌𝕠𝚖
The guards’ all had sharp gazes and the wore the same uniforms and bearing the Flonkong Organization mark as well. One of them stepped forward, stopping Aurianna’s group.
"Are you all together?" he asked, raising an eyebrow as his eyes scanned the group.
"Yes, the ones behind me are my bodyguards, and the ones behind her are hers," Peter explained, gesturing toward Aurianna. She wore a modest yet elegant black dress that accentuated her white skin. The man’s eyes widened slightly as her radiant white eyes peeked through her mask, their beauty stunning him and causing him to become a bit bashful.
"T-Tickets, please," he stammered, his previously firm tone softening considerably.
Peter handed over 25 specially designed tickets with a polite nod. "Here."
The guard took the tickets and held them against a glowing crystal ball. Instantly, the tickets were absorbed into the stone, which emitted a light that created glowing wristbands on everyone in the group.
"Please enter," the guard said, stepping aside to let them through.
As they walked in, Avriel’s eyes wandered over the grandeur of the entryway, from the gleaming marble floors to the well designed golden chandeliers. "So fancy," she muttered, genuinely impressed.
Rows of servants dressed in uniforms stood along the sides of the hall, silently extending their hands to direct the group forward. The trail led them past a set of bright red curtains, revealing an enormous auditorium.
"Damn, it looks like one of those crazy expensive concert venues," Jugi blurted, his voice echoing faintly.
Before them stretched rows upon rows of seats, filled with over a ten thousand people of various races. The sheer scale of the crowd was overwhelming, but Aurianna’s expression remained impassive.
"So many people of so many races... disgusting," she scoffed under her breath, her tone dripping with disdain. Ignoring the stares her comment garnered, she moved forward with the group, taking their seats at a large round table. The table was laden with exquisite food, desserts, and peculiar stone tablets engraved with runes.
"It’s all perfectly legal though," Shuwi remarked nonchalantly, her gaze fixed on one of the tablets.
"Even so, it still feels wrong," Juvin replied with a frown, his discomfort evident.
Aurianna’s eyes swept over the room. ’So many magic barriers...’ she noticed, her sharp gaze picking out the runes and magic inscriptions lining the walls. ’This place is like a fortress.’
"Would you like some refreshments?" a servant asked, approaching their table with a professional attitude.
"Isn’t the stuff already on the table enough?" Christopher questioned, raising an eyebrow.
"Orange juice, please!" Elena chirped excitedly.
"Milk," Aurianna added, her tone curt but calm.
Avriel smirked, leaning back in her chair. "Kids."
Aurianna’s eyes narrowed dangerously as she glared at her. "You..."
"As you wish, I’ll return shortly," the servant said with a bow, quickly retreating to fetch the drinks.
Aurianna’s gaze continued to wander around the room. Most of the attendees wore opulent attire, their postures exuding arrogance as they engaged in loud, self-important conversations. Her lip curled slightly. ’Luxurious clothes, arrogant attitudes...’ she thought, her disdain deepening. ’Definitely underground high ranking nobles.’
’High Humans, Chaos Humans, Arc Humans... they’re all here,’ Aurianna mused, her gaze sweeping across the crowd. ’But Grand Humans? I can’t tell.’ She frowned, her eyes searching for one person in particular. When she failed to spot the familiar figure, she sighed in disappointment.
Her thoughts were interrupted by a voice that echoed through the massive hall.
"Welcome, everyone, to the Flonkong Organization Annual Auction!"
All eyes turned to the center stage, where a beautiful woman in a bear mask stood in an elegant gown. Her voice resonated loudly through the auditorium and the woman’s face was broadcast on the numerous magical screens caused by video Meimus that were spread across the room.
Hearing her voice, Aurianna stiffened. ’It’s her. The bear mask woman.’
"This year, our auditorium is brimming with beautiful ladies and distinguished gentlemen!" the host, Athena, declared with a charming smile beneath her mask.
She gestured to the screens, which displayed a series of tantalizing images. "For today’s auction, we have a magnificent lineup: rare and super-rare dungeon weapons, high-class slaves we’ve acquired over the years, and limited-edition ancient antique items!!"
