Saintess? Not Anymore! I'd Rather be a Destroyer-Chapter 150 - 136: Husae and Wein
As Aurianna strolled down the hallways, her satisfaction was evident in the curve of her lips. "Now that King Girsal has sentenced me to fight in the war, just two more days till the war. I should probably drink all the succubus essence I’ve got in my inventory," she mused to herself, oblivious to an approaching figure.
Suddenly, a familiar voice broke through her thoughts. "Aurianna," called out the voice, and she lifted her head to see her eldest brother.
"Hey there, big brother Husae," she greeted, offering a brief curtsy.
"Good afternoon, Aurianna," Husae responded, though his tone hinted at some internal pain. Without another word, he took her hand and led her away from the prying eyes of the palace guards into a secluded garden.
"Where are we going, Brother Husae?" Aurianna inquired as he abruptly came to a halt, then knelt before her.
"Brother?" Aurianna blurted out, perplexed by this unexpected behavior from him
"Take this scroll to your room and use it to teleport far from here," Husae instructed, passing her a light yellow scroll adorned with a magical circle. Aurianna’s eyes widened in astonishment as she unrolled it.
"Why, brother?" she asked, her brow furrowing as she noticed the worry etched on Husae’s face.
"I don’t want you to die," Husae murmured, getting to his feet and embracing her tightly with a hug.
"But I’ve committed a crime," Aurianna admitted, her gaze calm as she met her brother’s eyes.
"I don’t care! At the end of the day, you’re my little sister. If I, as an older brother, can’t protect my siblings, what kind of brother am I?" Husae exclaimed, his voice filled with emotion and tears streaming down his face.
"You do realize this won’t work, right?" Aurianna pointed out, referring to the scroll. "Where will I find food and water, how will I sleep or even survive, and who knows what sort of creatures I might encounter? With my looks, I might even get kidnapped and sold as a slave," she added, and the realization dawned on Husae.
"You’re absolutely right; I didn’t think this through," Husae admitted, gritting his teeth in frustration.
"I’m such an incompetent and useless brother! I’m unable to protect my only little sister!" Husae lamented, striking a nearby pillar with his hand, which remained intact.
"I can take care of myself, you know," Aurianna reassured him, looking at her brother curiously.
"Even if you can, I wish I could do more. Perhaps, if you were born into a better family, you could have had a happier childhood," Husae said with a tinge of sadness as he affectionately patted Aurianna on the head.
"I’m content with how I am, Brother," Aurianna huffed, and a small chuckle escaped from Husae at her adorable response.
"I must plead to Father!" Husae declared, but Aurianna shook her head and replied, "It’s no use. Father won’t change his mind." Her words only deepened Husae’s sadness even further.
"I know Husae cares about me deeply, so I won’t run away," Aurianna firmly declared as she shook her head.
"Aurianna, you idiot. Do you think winning a war against an Arc Human is that easy?" Husae asked, his eyes locked onto Aurianna’s.
"Of course it’s not! But if I run away father would know you helped me, you’ll be in trouble," Aurianna explained and Husae couldn’t say anymore.
"Don’t worry dearest brother, I would try my best not to die so don’t cry, it makes your face look funny,"Aurianna chimed in, her laughter as light as a summer breeze. Husae dabbed his eyes.
"If only I was stronger, I could protect you and Ralph," Husae lamented.
"Ralph too, huh?" Aurianna retorted, her tone frosty.
"Yes, because both of you are my siblings!" Husae responded, a warm smile gracing his lips. "However I won’t ignore the fact that you bully Ralph. He bullied you and now you bully him. It’s not very good behavior and way to handle conflicts," Husae lectured and Aurianna couldn’t help but roll his eyes at him.
"I just don’t like him," Aurianna declared coldly, her eyes reflecting disdain.
Husae couldn’t help but feel a pang of unease. ’What did Ralph do to make her hate him so much?’ he wondered.
’Brother, you’re a genuinely good man, it’s just a pity you’re father’s son. And a pity you may die in the near future. I can’t understand how you can be so nice to me, despite me pushing you away,’ Aurianna thought coldly as she gritted her teeth. But as she looked up she couldn’t help but notice her brother’s kind smile which moved her heart a bit.
"If there is nothing more you’d like to say, I’ll be taking my leave now," Aurianna stated as she turned around to leave.
"Wait, Aurianna!" Husae yelled as she rushed and held her hand.
"What is it?" Aurianna asked with an annoyed look.
Noticing the irritated look on Aurianna’s face Husae made sure to keep his words short, "If you’re really going to fight you should keep the scroll and have this," Husae said as he handed Aurianna a small pouch.
Aurianna looked at Husae skeptically and looked inside the pouch and her eyes widened in shock.
"A mana potion, hundred of them!!" She gasped as she looked back up at Husae.
"You’re young and I heard the Infinite Nation practice a strange skill that strengthens their body as hard as a Lunathril, one of the strongest metals on Deirion { the name of the planet }. So they have a high defense which would make them tough opponents to defeat. So it’s better to attack them from afar and weaken their defenses. So you would need these potions to replenish your mana. I know that you’re a mage like myself," Husae explained and Aurianna clutched the small pouch and scroll.
"Aren’t these yours?" Aurianna asked, peering at him suspiciously. "I know you mostly have mana potion since you struggle to gather enough mana in such a short time!"
"I don’t need it," Husae shrugged, "I’ll be cooped up in my palace for a month managing the agricultural industry with Freed so there’s no need to worry."
"Why are you so nice?" Aurianna gritted her teeth as she asked. A reflection of Husae from her past life came into her mind as she remembered how he always played with her and comforted her whenever she felt sad. And she cried alot when he died. Even in this life he was the same. ’What does he gain from being nice to me? Maybe there’s a hidden objective, or am I some kind of amusement to him or what?’ Aurianna pondered. ’I refuse to believe someone would be truly nice without hidden motives,’ Aurianna thought angrily as she gripped the scroll. "I don’t understand you," she blurted out. "No matter how mean I’ve always been to you, you’re still kind to me, why are you deciding to help me?!" Aurianna asked loudly as she looked at him, her eyes trembling but she refused to cry.
"That’s because you’re my cute little sister, what other reason do I need to be kind to you," Husae replied with a smile on his lips as he playfully pinched her soft cheeks.
’Is he telling the truth, because I haven’t placed my charm spell on him?’ Aurianna wondered as she gently removed his hands from her cheeks.
"In addition I have alot to thank you for, especially for dealing with Mavis. I was so afraid to stand up against others who did stuff to hurt me, that I didn’t know my cowardice would affect those around me. So thank you Aurianna for being a brave little girl," Husae said as he patted Aurianna on the head and ruffled her hair.
"I see thank you so much brother," Aurianna murmured, her lips pressed together as she looked at the pouch and scroll in her hand before tucking them away into her ring.
"Make sure you don’t die," Husae advised and Aurianna nodded.
"I won’t!" Aurianna declared fearlessly as she looked up at him with a determined look before she left.
Once she was gone, Husae slouched on the ground as tears streamed down his face. "Dear Goddess of beauty, I have failed to be the model brother for my siblings now one of them may die. Please Goddess if you’re truly listening please let her live. She may act strange now, but I believe once she grows up she can change." He prayed as he looked up at the sky to see the sun shining brightly in the sky.

As Aurianna strolled through the halls, a faint smile graced her face, unnoticed by her, but that quickly morphed into a scowl and a look of disgust as she spotted Ralph.
"Well, isn’t it just lovely that my dear little sister is heading off to war? Perhaps that feisty attitude of yours might come in handy," Ralph jeered, striding toward Aurianna, both of them standing at the same height.
"And what is my pathetic brother doing here?" Aurianna retorted, her gaze haughty as she looked down at him.
"I hope you die horribly on that battlefield!" Ralph spat, drawing nearer and grasping the collar of her dress.
Aurianna swiftly seized his hand and held it firmly before swatting it away. "And what makes you so sure I won’t make it out alive?" She asked mockingly.
"With three Arc Humans, there’s no way you’ll survive the first round. I hope you suffer for what you did to Russel!" Ralph declared, his eyes filled with anger as he clenched his fists. Despite his tough act, his visible trembling didn’t go unnoticed by Aurianna, who couldn’t help but chuckle a bit.
"I did you a favor by getting rid of that foolish girl from your life," Aurianna said as she patted Ralph on the shoulder before moving past him.

"If I die, there’s no way I’ll let you live," Aurianna threatened, glaring at him before walking away.
After some time, Aurianna reached her room door, but just as she was about to enter, she heard another voice calling out to her, causing her to sigh and reluctantly turn to face the speaker.
"Aurianna!" Wein called out once more.
"Yes, big sister Wein," Aurianna responded calmly.
"Umm, umm," Wein fidgeted, trying to find the right words to address Aurianna, but her nervousness and fidgety behavior only irked Aurianna more.
"I’d like to give you this bag of explosives. They can cause a lot of damage when thrown at their opponent. I made them myself," Wein said with a smile, handing Aurianna a small pouch.
Aurianna peered inside, noticing numerous green spherical objects neatly arranged.
"Why are you offering me this, big sister?" Aurianna asked, skeptical of Wein’s intentions.
"The battlefield is a dangerous place, especially when you’re alone. I can tell that you don’t trust me, but I sincerely don’t want to see you die," Wein explained anxiously as she looked at Aurianna. "If I could do something I would have, but with our other sisters there’s no way to plead your case with our father to lessen the punishment. So, I decided to support you with my intellect!" She added, and Aurianna couldn’t help but crack a smile.
"Seriously sister you’re such an idiot," Aurianna said with a teasing smile but to Wein it was a beautiful smile.
"Thanks," Aurianna mumbled silently and Wein beamed.
"You better not die!" Wein huffed as she hugged Aurianna, her bosom suffocating the young girl.
"Sister!" Aurianna gasped for air and, without a second thought, she delivered a light slap to Wein’s chest, prompting her to release her from the hug.
"You’re not trying to suffocate me with those melons, are you?" Aurianna accused, as she eyes Wein before eyeing her bosom, and Wein couldn’t help but burst into laughter.
"Don’t worry yours would grow soon too," Wein reassured her.
"Mine aren’t that small!!" Aurianna yelled as she cupped hers.
"They might not be bigger than mine right now, but you never know, by the time you’re my age, you might get some like mine!" Wein said with a flexing tone as she puffed her chest causing her bosom to giggle making Aurianna frown a bit. 𝐟𝗿𝐞𝚎𝚠𝐞𝚋𝕟𝐨𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝕔𝕠𝚖
"I’d rather have mine stay the way they are, dear sister, thank you very much!" Aurianna snorted as she crossed her arms.
"If you say so, dear sister. I have work to do so I’ll be on my way!" Wein claimed as she walked off and waved at Aurianna.
’That woman. I have mixed feelings about her,’ Aurianna thought as her smile faded as she stared at Wein’s back coldly before she walked off.
