Chapter 141: Chapter 127: Soul

"I can’t let this go any further. I’ve got no clue what would happen if her soul devours mine, but I’ve got a gut feeling that I’ll probably die. And I’m not planning on dying anytime soon," Aurianna declared with a confident grin.

"But seriously, how do I fix this mess? Do I consult Eva and the system for guidance?" Aurianna mused aloud.

"They might have a way to fix this, and also remove this woman from me. Because if I keep collapsing like this because of her, it won’t be good for me in deadly situations," Aurianna said, glaring at the pesky soul.

"Chi, chi, chi, la, la, la watch yourself former White Diamond! My soul is mine and I won’t let you easily devour me! My body and soul is mine and mine alone! And I’m going to make you regret ever entering my body, you bitch!" Aurianna declared boldly, her words sending ripples of fury through the larger soul.

Aurianna walked closer to the towering soul, her hands reaching out to touch it, channeling a blast of destructive light magic. But, it was like throwing confetti at a brick wall it had zero effect.

"This is gonna be tougher than I thought," Aurianna muttered, sighing.

Out of nowhere, Aurianna felt her body being sucked into the larger soul. She tried to fight it, but it was like an invisible magnet pulling her in against her will.

Aurianna found herself surrounded by darkness when she finally opened her eyes again.

And there she was, the former White Diamond, wearing a smug expression.

"What’s so funny?" Aurianna demanded, giving her a glare, but White acted like she couldn’t even see her nor did she acknowledge her presence.

"White Diamond, you’ve crossed the line!" a fiery redhead man yelled, his temper flaring and Aurianna couldn’t help but turn to see what was happening.

"Oh, and what are you gonna do about it?" White retorted with a haughty grin.

"I’m gonna put a stop to this madness. It’s unbelievable that kill off your own family, your brothers and sisters!" Red fumed, his anger boiling over.

White just scoffed disdainfully, "You lot were never family to me. You all stopped being my kin the day they crowned that clueless and imbecilic brat, Purple Diamond, as our ruler. Making that brain dead brat ruler was the day you all lost me as a sister."

"This very attitude of yours is precisely why you were never deemed fit for leadership. You persistently looked down on others!" Red seethed.

"That’s because I am better than all of you. I’m the flawless ruler fit to govern all the dimensions!" White declared with a prideful gleam in her eye.

"What in the world are they blabbering about, this is probably White Diamond’s memory? And what are these dimensions? Eva tried to drill that into my head during those astrology lessons, but I can’t say it stuck around much," Aurianna admitted with a nonchalant shrug. "And why do I keep forgetting important stuff? It’s strange, because I used to have a pretty sharp memory back in my past life."

She shifted her gaze toward White Diamond and pondered aloud, "Could it have something to do with her devouring my soul? It’s starting to feel like I’m overthinking this."

Aurianna sighed, her expression conveying her frustration. "Yeah, I’ve always had a tough time with education, not my strongest quality," she admitted with a resigned nod.

"White!!!" Red Diamond’s furious shout pierced the cosmic space, his body ignited like the sun, his fiery form casted a blood-red glow across the universe. Enormous celestial beings ablaze with crimson flames loomed around burning with the same bright red flames.

White Diamond responded with a melodious laugh and a beautiful smile aimed at her brother. "Ha, ha, ha," she chuckled.

White Diamond declared, "Your struggle is futile because I’m all powerful, Round Table!!!" Her raised hands struck a dramatic pose, and in an instant, twenty colossal portals, each the size of a planet, materialized. Emerging from these cosmic gates were twenty imposing knights, who took their positions alongside White Diamond.

Red Diamond’s face drained of color as he clenched his teeth, fixing a steely glare on White Diamond.

"This, my dear, is one the ultimate power, a privilege bestowed upon only the top five," White Diamond proclaimed, looking down on Red with disdain.

Before Aurianna could continue watching their confrontation, a colossal hand grabbed her, pulling her downwards.

"Who the heck is dragging me away now? We were just getting to the juicy part of that old hag’s memories!" Aurianna shouted in frustration.

Abruptly, Aurianna’s eyes fluttered open, and found herself seated at a massive round table, surrounded by ten colossal beings. Among them, the one she recognized most was her six-handed statue, Queen.

"It’s been a while, Queen," Aurianna greeted with a warm smile as she looked up at the towering statue before her.

"I’ve longed for the day when we could converse like this, Master," Queen replied with a smile her voice sounding like a mature woman.

"You can talk?!" Aurianna gasped in astonishment.

"Of course, I can. It was simply beyond my capabilities when we first met, given your level," Queen explained with a gentle smile.

"So my level plays a role in this, huh?" Aurianna sighed, and Queen nodded in agreement.

"It will always be a factor when it comes to strength," Queen affirmed.

"Why am I here in the first place?" Aurianna inquired, her skepticism evident in her gaze.

"Master, there’s not much time left for you," Queen delivered the grim news with a somber tone.

"Guess you’re going with the bad news first, huh?"

"The rate at which the former White Diamond is devouring your soul is alarmingly fast. If you don’t take action, you might not see your twentieth birthday," Queen cautioned with a worried tone.

"This has to be some sort of cruel joke, right?" Aurianna asked, her anxiety rising.

"I’m not joking," Queen said with a serious expression.

"Hah, I already have so much on my plate right now and this has been added on top of it," Aurianna sighed, casting a glance in Queen’s direction.

"I’m sorry, master, but it’s really important," Queen insisted.

Aurianna shot Queen a skeptical look and inquired, "Wouldn’t it be in your favor if your former Diamond were to be revived? So why the warning? If I’m guessing correctly, you brought me here." Aurianna’s tone was firm. 𝗳𝗿𝐞𝕖𝘄𝗲𝕓𝗻𝚘𝚟𝕖𝐥.𝚌𝕠𝕞

"True, for this room, but you did come here on your own, master. I’m warning you because I don’t want to go back to serving that weak master," Queen replied with an icy edge, sending a shiver down Aurianna’s spine.

"Chi lalalala, ch chi, you think I’m stronger than her?" Aurianna grinned with a hint of madness in her eyes.

"Once you remove those seals on you and Leila, and level up, of course, you have the potential to be stronger than her. We only serve the strongest," Queen explained, causing the statues’ eyes on the round table to emit an eerie glow.

"So, I’m pretty awesome then!" Aurianna beamed with happiness.

"Of course, you are, master," Queen praised.

"She’s the master? She’s so tiny and cute," commented one of the beings, using her large finger to rub Aurianna’s head and Aurianna pushed the funeral away angrily. The being wore a female knight’s armor, her hair tied into two pigtails, and her skin was an ethereal pure white.

"She’s much smaller than I expected. Aren’t Diamonds supposed to be larger?" boomed the voice of another knight, a male this time.

"This is the new generation, so they won’t be like the originals," a female knight in a hooded cloak chimed in.

Aurianna couldn’t help but feel nervous as she stared up at these towering beings. "Why are they so huge?" she wondered.

"Calling on us right now is risky for you, master. You were just contemplating using us in a war," the hooded knight calmly warned, causing Aurianna to purse her lips.

"If you all can talk to me, I assume you’re my new skill," Aurianna said, looking up at them.

"Of course, we are, but at your current level, you can’t unleash our full power. Plus, there’s a price to pay," another knight stated coldly, fixing his gaze on Aurianna.

"What price?" Aurianna asked, determination in her eyes.

Queen sighed in resignation and revealed, "For every one of us you summon, you’ll lose a body part, and it won’t regrow for 50 years. That’s the current price."

As Aurianna’s gaze fell upon Queen, a memory surfaced in her mind. "This reminds me of how Leila’s arm took so long to regenerate. She mentioned it was King’s doing, the consequence of using him," she mused, her thoughts drifting as she observed Queen. Queen stood out conspicuously from the rest, not just in size but in regal attire. Not only did she tower over others, but she wore a large beautiful crown on her head. What’s more her skin radiated an even more dazzling white shiny crystal than her companions.

"I don’t mind that price at all. I can easily regenerate it back in Eva’s space!" Aurianna declared, her eyes gleaming with determination as she gazed at Queen.

Curious and cautious, Aurianna pressed on, "What’s the limit, though?"

Queen replied, "You can summon a maximum of five of us. Any more than that, you’ll die immediately."

Aurianna let out an exasperated grunt and crossed her arms. "That’s pretty harsh," she muttered.

The knight with pigtails chimed in, her gestures emphasizing her words, "The strain on your body would be too much for you to handle, which would cause you to go Kabloue!!"

Aurianna considered her options, then asked, "Can I summon King as well?" But Queen shook her head.

"King is currently with Leila, so you won’t be able to summon him. But rest assured, Master, I’m just as strong as King!" Queen assured with an assuring tone.

Aurianna affirmed her trust, saying, "If you say so, then my life’s in your hands. I’m not joking."

The knights nodded in understanding.

Shifting the focus back to the pressing issue, Aurianna looked at Queen with a determined expression. "So, how do I get rid of the former White Diamond’s soul?" she inquired seriously.

"We don’t know," a knight with peculiar, curly hair shrugged, her statement resonating with the others around the table.

Aurianna turned to Queen for confirmation. "Is this true, Queen?"

"I’m sorry, Master, but this is beyond my knowledge. Only a Diamond or a Basalt would know how to resolve such a situation. Unfortunately, they are all dead, and the new generations lacks the knowledge to remove a person’s soul," Queen explained.

Aurianna couldn’t help but grin, a glimmer of hope in her eyes. ’There’s still one Basalt left,’ she thought to herself.

"We’re within my soul, correct?" Aurianna asked, seeking confirmation from the knights, who all nodded in agreement.

"Yes," they chimed in.

Aurianna pressed further, "So, how much is she affecting me?"

The hooded knight revealed the unsettling truth, "You would first lose your memories, then you’d go insane, followed by a gradual loss of strength until your body becomes hers." Aurianna shuddered at the ominous prognosis.

"I need to discuss this with Eva and the system quickly," Aurianna thought with a somber expression.

With her mind made up, she turned to Queen and inquired, "Can I go now?"

"Of course, Master!" Queen replied cheerfully.

"See you later, then," Aurianna bid farewell with a wave, noticing her body beginning to fade away as she did.

"So many fascinating things to my race, it’s quite interesting to uncover the former genration’s secrets," Aurianna mused with a grin before vanishing into the ether.

"Aurianna, you’re finally awake!" Eva exclaimed, her face lighting up as she embraced Aurianna.

"Eva, I’m fine," Aurianna reassured her with a smile, taking note of Eva’s anxious expression.

"It’s already nighttime," Aurianna blurted out as she gazed up at the darkening sky.

"You’ve been asleep for four days!" Eva revealed, causing Aurianna’s eyes to widen in surprise.

"Wow, that’s quite a stretch. I must have really needed the rest," Aurianna remarked, stretching her limbs.

"Aurianna, your heart rate was plummeting as if you were on the verge of dying. What happened?" Eva inquired, her gaze locked onto Aurianna.

"Do you recall that woman who attacked me during the war with the Drumel Kingdom?" Aurianna asked, fixing her eyes on Eva, who nodded in response.
