Running A Cemetery in North America-Chapter 372 - 250: Reorganizing the Evil God Council
A towering giant ape appeared in Manhattan District, quickly alarming the wealthy residents of the entire area.
But since the Monkey King’s Heaven and Earth ability only lasted for a split second, it was too fast for anyone to take out their phones and record it.
For a moment, all citizens who witnessed that terrifying scene felt a sense of panic.
However, fortunately, within half an hour, these upper-class individuals received a reassuring call from the fifth Speaker’s subordinates, and everything returned to calm.
Arthur’s mansion.
Seated in the study, smoking a cigar and sipping whiskey, Arthur contentedly admired the night view outside the window.
"It was truly the right choice, Mr. Jack. Your power far exceeded my expectations."
Arthur looked at the tablet in his hand, which was playing a video of Raymond and Sun Yan battling far away in the Manhattan District of New York City.
Knowing in advance that Sun Yan planned to attack Raymond, he naturally wasn’t surprised.
"Even Lucifer is no match for Mr. Jack. With this partner, who in North America would dare defy me, hahaha."
Arthur let out a hearty laugh reminiscent of old money: "Next up, it’s you, second Speaker... Pajero."
...
The death of the first Speaker of the Evil God Council was news that ordinary people could not possibly know, and even most American citizens were unaware of the major events that happened last night.
Meanwhile, in the uninhabited wilderness of Central America.
The desert was filled with yellow sand, and a military base made entirely of steel stood out prominently.
Numerous Jeep vehicles patrolled the desert, machine guns mounted on the open backs, and with the slightest stir, these people would pull the trigger to start shooting without hesitation.
Inside the base, deep underground.
"Is Raymond really dead?"
On the chair, a burly man in camouflage cargo pants frowned deeply, his face filled with worry.
"Speaker, there’s no mistake. Our people have already gone to New York City to investigate thoroughly. Just last night, the first Speaker’s headquarters was severely damaged, and his body has been photographed."
Beside him, a man in military uniform spoke firmly.
"F**K."
The burly man slapped the table irritably, his expression grim.
As the second Speaker of the Evil God Council, he had always been second only to one in the Council.
The entire Evil God Council had only Raymond who could stand above him, but now that Raymond was dead, Pajero deeply felt a sense of foreboding.
The third and fourth Speakers had just died not long ago, and now the first Speaker had been assassinated. This was definitely an organized action with premeditation.
Perhaps, following Raymond, he himself was the next target. 𝗳𝚛𝗲𝕖𝚠𝚎𝚋𝗻𝗼𝕧𝗲𝐥.𝚌𝚘𝐦
Even Raymond couldn’t escape death, and now Pajero felt an immense pressure, only able to stay in his stronghold, which was presently the safest place for him in the world.
"Speaker, rest assured, as per your instructions, our people are monitoring the area within a hundred miles of the base, and any disturbance can be eliminated in the first instance."
"You don’t understand. Those capable of killing Raymond already possess power that ordinary means cannot contend with. If he does appear, we can only fight desperately." Pajero clenched his fists, revealing a hint of killing intent in his eyes, and spoke seriously.
...
Bzz! Bzz! Bzz!
In the wilderness, a motorcycle sped along, with Sun Yan sitting on the back, hugging Elise’s slender waist and observing the surroundings.
"Will that second Speaker’s base really be in such a desolate and remote place?" Elise asked.
"Arthur said it’s here, but unfortunately, these Speakers are all wary of each other, so even Arthur doesn’t know the exact coordinates of Pajero’s base, only letting us search for it ourselves," Sun Yan replied.
Suddenly, Elise twisted the brake, and the motorcycle came to an immediate stop.
"Jackson, there’s someone over there," Elise pointed in a direction.
Sun Yan’s forehead instantly opened with a streak of gold, revealing the Celestial Eye.
Immediately, his sight expanded infinitely, seeing a passing Jeep.
On the car stood several masked armed men holding AK-47s. People who dressed like this in such a place were clearly Pajero’s men.
Sun Yan smiled and said, "Looking for something all over and finding it just in time, I’ll use this group to locate Pajero’s stronghold. You stay here, I’ll go take a look."
As soon as he finished speaking, Sun Yan activated Somersaulting Cloud’s divine power and flew directly toward the Jeep.
"Isn’t Pajero the Grand Commander overreacting this time? Who in North America would dare go after him unless they’re tired of living."
"The Grand Commander’s decisions are always right, don’t talk about him behind his back. If he finds out, you’ll be punished."
"Don’t worry, I’ve already turned off the radio in the car, the base can’t monitor our situation."
In the Jeep, several soldiers exchanged words while holding their guns, without any sense of urgency. Clearly, they didn’t think they’d encounter an enemy in such a godforsaken place.
At that moment, a figure suddenly descended from the sky, landing on the hood of the vehicle. The driver was so startled that he jerked the steering wheel, causing the Jeep to sway left and right in the wilderness, constantly on the verge of tipping over.
"Who are you?"
The soldiers in the back row quickly pointed their guns at the person who had descended from the sky and pulled the trigger without hesitation.
Gunfire erupted, but not a single bullet hit the target. Sun Yan looked at these guys and reached out to grab one of them.
In just a few seconds, his face morphed into that of the other person: "If you don’t want to die, stay honest, got it?"
Seeing their enemy transform into the image of their comrade before them, the remaining few exchanged looks and showed a hint of fear on their faces.
This enemy who appeared out of nowhere was obviously someone they had no way of dealing with.
...
The Jeep sped across the wilderness, and soon the people inside saw the enormous steel base appear on the horizon.
As the Jeep approached, the cameras, infrared sensors, X-rays, and all scanning equipment at the base entrance conducted a thorough scan of the vehicle.
Once it was determined there were no issues, the base gate opened slowly, allowing the Jeep to drive inside smoothly.
"No wonder the Evil God Council can root itself in North America and control the upper echelons of America for so many years. A single Speaker can possess such a massive military base and train so many soldiers. It must have cost a lot of resources and money; this is practically a warlord of America," Sun Yan thought to himself.
The driver parked the Jeep in the designated parking lot, facing Sun Yan in the passenger seat who had already disguised himself with a threatening look.
The people inside the car lowered their heads with a miserable expression, a bit uneasy.
For these soldiers, Pajero was undoubtedly a supreme existence, and betraying Pajero could mean not even knowing how they died.
But faced with Sun Yan’s threat, they also couldn’t refuse, or else their lives might not last the day.
Sun Yan got out of the car and quickly left the area, starting to look for Pajero within the base.
Although the base was equipped with numerous cameras, in front of Sun Yan, everything could be treated as if it didn’t exist. This mechanical technology had many ways to be blinded by him.
Soon, he reached the inner depths of the base. There was only one path to enter this place.
Trying to sneak in any further was impossible; only by forcefully breaking in could he proceed.
