Rise Of The Infinite Sovereign-Chapter 384: End of Vacation
Chapter 384: End of Vacation
With Alexis dead, Ezra promptly disappeared, ending his activities in Vonnamor altogether.
Whether for good or bad, he had cleared a majority of Vonnamor’s filth, enabling a wave of change.
One thing was sure though, Vonnamor would have no energy to spare towards matters of Niton for the foreseeable future.
After that, Ezra returned to Quartez. With the last of his past life grudges settled, the past could now lay in the past.
Now, Ezra looked to the future.
Practising his system skills, Ezra also studied governing policies along with many other things related to administrative management.
Beyond that, he visited the main universe on a few occasions to scout out the grey planet and additionally check planets he could induct in the future.
Like this, another month passed like a breeze.
The allocated three months had now elapsed.
Thus signalling the end of his vacation, it was time to head back into the main universe.
Without informing others, Ezra left Orion. He trusted that the others would fulfil their roles without his supervision.
He had to go and check how things were progressing with those in the main universe.
It was time to get back to work.
Entering the main universe, Ezra suddenly remembered that he hadn’t given his own universe an official name.
’What should I call it?’ Ezra wondered, there were several potential candidates, but none of them felt quite right.
’I’ll do it later’
So Ezra postponed the naming and used a to arrive in front of Cretin.
Reaching the front gate, Ezra was reminded to put on his communicator.
Entering, Ezra was soon at AlphaNova’s base.
The guards immediately allowed entry, not daring to obstruct his way.
Unlike the first time he came here, the base was eerily silent, almost feeling as though it had been abandoned.
Instead, it was that all the work was taking place within a separate space.
Literally.
Having informed Sidal of his arrival, the merchant exited his office to give greetings, revealing a sincere but uncanny smile.
After exchanging pleasantries, Ezra cut straight to the point.
"Is my weapon ready?"
"Well, Galvan has been working on the weapon for the past three months, so it should be"
Nodding, both men walked to where the subspace lay and entered.
Entering, they were struck with immense heat along with the loud sounds of clashing metal.
Sidal was about to call Galvan’s attention, but Ezra put a hand over his mouth, stopping him.
Interrupting someone so deeply concentrated could cause him to damage Skyfall.
Instead, Ezra simply looked around.
The body of the astral beast lay at a separate spot. Well, what was left of it.
The bones had been flayed of meat, scales had been peeled off and all the jagged teeth ripped out.
All three lay on the ground meters away from where Galvan was working.
The heat was immense, but there was no smoke.
Incessantly hammering, Galvan didn’t even seem to feel the heat.
Then again, for someone who didn’t seem to have noticed their presence when they were this close, the dwarf was better left undisturbed.
Signalling Sidal, Ezra exited the workshop after three minutes.
"That friend of yours is really passionate" Ezra commended. "From now on, let him take as much time as he needs to finish the weapon and provide him with whatever he needs"
"I will do that" Sidal lowered his head.
Ezra was feeling very pleased. Unlike lip service that just anyone could do, that level of concentration showed strong dedication and conviction.
While the designated time was three months, this was already ten days after, but Ezra was going to complain after witnessing such a sight.
The dwarf was staying true to his words, and therefore, he only looked forward to the end result even more.
"Now then, shall we visit the Alchemist?"
"He’s located at a place quite a distance away, so the journey will take some time"
"Do you have something else to do?" Ezra inquired, curious.
"Nothing more important than this" Sidal hurriedly replied. "I was just wondering if Mr. Sylveser would mind a long journey"
"I won’t. So, let’s go"
Chartering a private spaceship, Ezra, Sidal and twelve security guards boarded, heading straight to Lordim’s headquarters.
It took two hours, but they eventually arrived at the designated location.
Stationed on an otherwise barren planet, Lordim’s headquarters was a whole city!
Apparently, he had bought the planet and built the city on his lonesome.
Ezra marvelled, this was out of his expectations.
’I underestimated him’ Ezra remarked. Master Alchemists were really rich.
Dropped off at the city’s entrance, Sidal handled verification and they were soon allowed entry.
The inside was bustling, filled with decorated stalls selling all kinds of potions and other things.
Beyond that were the numerous establishments and beyond that, as they walked straight down, was the Lordim’s workshop.
With an escort guiding the way, they met no troubles, soon arriving at the workshop before then leaving.
The workshop rose to a modest height, not too tall or short, but was extravagantly expansive, holding multiple facilities.
They didn’t have the luxury to wander as someone else came to escort them to Lordim.
With the security guards excluded, they were escorted to the innermost part of the building.
Soon after, Ezra and Sidal sat facing Lordim within a grey office.
With his hair messy and hands dirty, one could easily tell that he was mixing potions prior to their arrival.
Making small talk, they exchanged pleasantries, before cutting into the real issue.
"How did it go? Are the elixirs ready?"
Lordim nodded casually. "Yes, they are"
Then, he takes out three top tier astral elixirs.
Bright purple in colour, Lordim had packaged them in a small glass bottle with uneven sides and a black cover like a perfume to resonate luxury.
Each bottle was of a different shape.
While the product was incredible, it only made sense to prop it up for presentation.
Making a product appealing to the eye was one of the first rules of business.
The bottles would have been branded but Ezra opposed it, having people able to pinpoint such the creator would just lead to massive amounts of trouble.
This was also why the bottles were all different.
Swiping all three elixirs, Ezra thanks Lordim for his services, to which the master alchemist burst out laughing.
"Sure. But I made more than three elixirs, shall I hand it over to you now, or would you rather collect it once the rest is done?"
"Hmm...Give me one more"
Having collected four top tier astral elixirs, Ezra and Sidal made small talk before leaving.
On their way back to Cretin, Ezra planned out how and when they would deliver the astral elixir to the red dragon clan, while Sidal made suggestions by the side in any areas he could have done better.
In this case, Sidal offered to go himself and deliver the elixirs to the red dragon personally but Ezra immediately opposed it.
Unlike what Sidal was thinking, Ezra explained that there was good chance he would be captured and be held captive if he went there at all and instead suggested for Sidal to establish a rendezvous point where Evanol would come to receive the elixir from him, and most importantly, to not meet him personally.
Having angered Vera, until she verified the elixir’s quality, it was best to keep distance and while Ezra was almost certain they would never catch him, Sidal would definitely get caught once he entered their sights.
Though suspicious about Ezra’s intentions at first, he was able to grasp what kind of relationship they had through Ezra’s words.
They were angry at Ezra, but couldn’t catch him due to his spatial abilities, but he would have no way to escape if they captured him, and should therefore stay away!
"Mr. Sylvester. Are you sure they won’t just try to forcefully seize the astral elixir?" Sidal asked in concern.
Ezra smiled. "If they don’t want half their clansmen dead, they won’t do that"
"I-I see" Sidal was inwardly surprised at the ability to say such things but inwardly relieved, such ruthless action would be needed to ensure reliability and his client wasn’t the type to make such jokes.
Sidal then explained how he would do his part by auctioning the elixir and where it would be done.
As promised, when they returned to the base, Ezra handed three elixirs to Sidal and gave him Evanol’s number. freēwēbηovel.c૦m
Sidal would be the one handling the deal from now on.
The third elixir was to be given to the council members of the Rosveller Foundation.
He’d originally stated five months and also, what they paid for was supposed to be a normal astral elixir, not a top-tier one.
Still, Ezra decided that it would be good to have them indebted to him and by putting Sidal forward, would raise Sidal’s status.
Killing two birds with one stone.
Having done that, Ezra excused himself and rented a cultivation room.
This was a room or hall specifically built to gather energy, thus enabling faster and smoother cultivation.
In turn, they were very expensive to build and equally costly to use.
Most of the time, cultivation rooms were things found at clans, very few built them as a business because one, there weren’t many higher beings who weren’t in a clan and two, the higher being usually disparaged the amount charged, thus making it a very scarce sight.
Even the cultivation room Ezra was using was of the lowest grade.
Anyway, Ezra was not lacking money.
Sitting in a lotus position with the surroundings secure, Ezra gulped down the elixir.
Immediately, he began to feel its effects.
More parts of his soul that remained solid and rigid became malleable, liquifying as though it was melting.
In turn, he could feel the energy reserves increasing and one more thing, he could feel some subtle changes in his soul space.
Ten minutes later, Ezra made a breakthrough into the 4th Rank.
