Re-Birth Of A Genius. Creator/Destroyer-Chapter 1768: Zeus' Reaction

Zeus felt suffocated.

His rage is bubbling up from his heart. The surroundings reflected that feeling.

Sam felt as if this godly energy tried to suffocate and suppress him. His lightning element is riled up to the extreme and he had to close his eyes to concentrate on using his body as a medium for this excessive energy.

Osiris frowned and kept on using his own power to shield Sam.

"Zeus, don't you dare violate our agreement. And from what I heard the ward was picked by Gambler. Do you really think you can get away with this? There are consequences for your anger. Reign yourself in or I will be here with my real body."

Zeus finally stopped. Sam felt the intense pressure alleviate a bit. He felt exhausted. But there is a faint smile on his face.

"Your days are numbered. Now get out of this place."

Osiris took Sam away instantly. They reappeared at an open space that seemed pretty similar to the grey space that Hel always took them to.

"What were you thinking? You could have died in there. I thought you were supposed to be the smart one. Why would you provoke one of the most powerful gods just for the sake of it. What did you gain from this stupid act?"

"Information and an edge over Zeus.

I know that going there is a gamble, but I literally wanted to test the limits. Going to war with Olympus is not something that any mortal can do, so I wanted to test how much leeway do I have and how much do I have before things might get really bad.

Now, Zeus who hates me so badly and had that huge butthurt ego, cannot do anything to me until the game is over. Even if I come face to face and spit on him, he cannot do shit.

That means, until this game is over I am free to act however I want.

And another important news is that he is scared of Gambler. He didn't even dare to intimidate me properly just by the mention of Gambler's name.

If what you said is true, if he really can kill me with a thought, he should have been able to intimidate and suffocate me to near death without much trouble, even if he cannot kill that should be within the acceptable range.

But he didn't. He took his time. He gradually increased the pressure.

This tells me that he is not willing to take the risk of harming me even in that raged state.

I have way too much pull right now. I can literally go crazy, but the moment I am out of this game, I also need to find a perfect cover that shields me from Zeus.

There are some added benefits of course, if I am right about Zeus' character which I am absolutely sure of, he will now issue an order to all of the gods in Olympus. He will tell them to alert all of the organizations that follow them and tell them to go after Dusk.

And trust me if one thinks Dusk's offence is powerful, that means they haven't seen our defensive measures yet. It is much easier for my people to find out and destroy these organizations.

And finally, I just wanted to piss him off.

I bet I achieved all of it."

Osiris was stunned for a moment.

He looked at Sam and said.

"Do you know how big of a gamble that is?"

"Of course, I know this is not a joke. If Zeus can really kill me without caring about Gambler's situation, I am sure he would have killed me now. Which also means I wouldn't have had a chance at this war.

Sooner or later, he will be pissed enough to come and kill me directly while the game and the war are going on.

It would be better for me to be dead early than later in that case. That way, my friends, students, and subordinates will be a bit safer compared to now there wouldn't be too much loss of life across the realms.

But now, things changed. This war will be recorded in the history of every realm. A mortal army charging at the gods. I am pretty excited."

Osiris felt amazed by Sam's confidence and excitement. A mortal army fighting against gods. Particularly Olympian gods.

It is not like it hasn't happened before, but it never happened on this scale and at this level. The mortals were on verge of breaking through and becoming gods and there is at least one or two gods leading them.

But here a young man who didn't even hit the level of divinity went ahead and started a war. Granted there are a bunch of circumstances that are in his favor. But it is still a task that should have been impossible to achieve.

Sam was sent back to the hell after that. He just dove deep into the tower after that. But this time, he had a very special moment when he entered. His energy is still riled up from his visit to the God's domain.

So, he had a lot of energy to expend which he did wantonly in killing in the creatures.

His excitement just increased as he killed these creatures while thinking of where this war will lead him.

Meanwhile, back in Zeus' domain, all the Olympian gods gathered.

"Why did you call us here?"

One of them asked their king.

"Everyone in your organizations should now focus on one thing. Exterminate Dusk organization. It belongs to a person called Sam and it is spread amongst various realms. Go ahead and destroy it. I will give them rewards for every small achievement.

I will give them a herb for killing a person. I will give them a cultivation method if they kill a unit, I will give them a place in my personal army if they kill a high-level executive, and I will upgrade their tribe if they destroy a settlement.

If they kill one of Sam's friends, I will raise their potential to a Divine level and increase their cultivation by myself.

Tell them to be on this task, the very instant."

Zeus is angry, the gods didn't know what to say. They knew how willful Zeus is, so they didn't even bother trying to convince him. They didn't even ask for more details. They just went along with his craziness and went to order his organizations.

Back at the frontlines of the dusk organization. Every branch that already locked on to a branch of organization coming from Olympus noticed that all of these organizations are making their move.

They became excited and rash. And this made every member of the Dusk organization smile.

An enemy that is mindless and greedy. It is their perfect target. In fact, it is more like target practice for them.

Because Dusk organization also incentivizes their efforts, but more than incentivization, these members with unwavering loyalty craved to be a more intricate part of the organization. So, they are not working for rewards, they are working to become recognized for who they are and how they could help the organization.

They have this unity that couldn't be found in their enemies who are greedy to get the most accomplishments to improve their own positions.

Sam was not there to see it, but if he did, he will just smile like the rest of his organization.

Meanwhile, these actions that should have been insignificant actually caused quite a bit of stir in the realms of gods.

Everyone significant knew what Zeus has done and they also came to know what Sam has done. This invoked many feelings in different gods.

Some are amazed, some are shocked, some were amused and some thought it is ridiculous.

Some are even excited, but one person is just proud.

Gambler is currently in a meeting with the rest of the gods and he didn't bring up anything related to how Zeus' actions are against the rules. He acted as if nothing had happened.

"So, who is going to be the next external god that comes to play the game? I like these external tasks now. Osiris did a great job with that city. It is very interesting."

Gambler asked excitedly.

Everyone else just looked at them as if he is a madman. After all, they thought Gambler would give Zeus a warning of some sort. But there is nothing.

Hel just sighed and spoke.

"There are two candidates that are ready to participate in the next one and both of them have unique tasks in mind. But none of them are considered gods in a traditional sense."

"Why?"

"Because the faith of their communities marked them with different names."

"Oh, I can estimate who it could be. That is interesting."

"I don't agree with this." Zeus objected.

"Why?"

"There is a reason why the faiths and subjects marked them with different names. These people are everything that stands against our godly system. We shouldn't let them participate in something that we gods agreed upon."
