Before, she could spread her mist and kill over a hundred zombies at once. She didn’t know whether after her strength had increased if she could kill more.

After eating the bowl of soup with bread taken from the space bangle, Leng Pan walked to the window to check outside.

Measures had to be taken to install more solar panels and air conditioning in their apartments.

They also needed freezers to make ice constantly because they would probably need them for cooling as air conditioning alone might not be enough.

She had so many thoughts that night that she didn’t sleep well.

The next morning, she had dark circles under her eyes, which attracted the attention of her family.

"Mom, what happened to you last night? Why do you look so bad?" Leng Pan asked curiously.

"I used my superpower last night to sneak a peek into the future. It was quite disturbing. I couldn’t sleep after that." Li Yunjia explained.

"What made you so disturbed that you couldn’t get any sleep?" Uncle Li asked as he put his chopsticks down.

They were at the table having breakfast before they went for their daily training.

"Extreme heat. It’s worse than the cold.

One could not leave the house during the day even for two minutes, as they would be burnt so much that their skin would start to peel off.

Even in the houses, people would still die of heat stroke.

I don’t know how many people would survive that, especially while coming out of the extreme cold." Li Yunjia explained what she had seen.

"That serious?" Auntie Li asked in surprise.

They had indeed known that the disasters wouldn’t be too friendly, but they hadn’t expected them to get worse with each one.

"Yeah, that serious. I kept thinking about what to do to survive that and was unable to sleep." Li Yunjia explained.

"Then it’s time to prepare in advance.

We haven’t told the others about your ability, but now that we have improved our strength, we don’t have to worry about others coveting your ability and hurting you or kidnapping you.
