"Alright then. Let’s go back to sleep. We are waking up early for a supply run." Leng Pan had fully calmed down.

She lay down, still in Lu Zhen’s arms, who also followed to lie on the bed holding his wife close to his chest.

I believe he would not do anything to harm us, so, there is no need to be alarmed or to bother him." Lu Zhen added to his explanation while stroking his wife’s hand.

"Okay then. Let’s wait for him to confess. By the way, where should we go to look for supplies?" Leng Pan changed the topic as she also wanted to rest and relax her mind.

She wanted to treat today’s supply run as a shopping trip. When stressed, shopping is always a good way to relieve tension and improve one’s mood.

"Sure, let’s go to the slaughterhouse first before heading to the mall." Lu Zhen’s voice came.

As they were discussing what kind of meat to bring back and what to leave behind, Lu Tao came back into the living room with a smile.

"My superpower is clearer than before and I can concentrate on a larger area without getting overwhelmed." Lu Tao reported happily.

Lu Tao didn’t bother with the title he was called by. He could only be a little brother because if he dared to retort, his brother would probably kill him and carve the words, ’little brother’ on his face.

So, he could only reluctantly let her call him whatever she wanted.

"I mean that my superpower seemed to have improved after today. I don’t know how but it should have.

This was partly to stall him for a while so that she and Lu Zhen could get to the ground floor first and take one armoured car from the space and partly because it was indeed inconvenient for Lu Tao to fight in his current attire.

With zombies everywhere outside and being in danger of being scratched, wearing a short-sleeved shirt was definitely an absolute NO.
