"Baby, you were incredible." Lu Zhen said as he wrapped his arms around his wife and hugged her. He almost wanted to meld her into his bones.

He really loved this woman. Especially when she stood up for him. It was his first time having someone stand in front of him to protect him. Even if it was just against harmless women.

It felt good.

Leng Pan couldn’t be bothered with this lovestruck guy. All she did was chase a couple of women away. How incredible could that be?

"All right, let’s say goodbye to Mom and then go back to our apartment for training." Leng Pan said before pushing the guy hugging her in front of everyone without shame.

Sometimes he didn’t care whether his mother was watching and displayed some intimacy in front of them. At first it bothered her, but later she didn’t care anymore. If he didn’t care about his mother seeing them being intimate, why should she?

"Okay, let’s go back to our apartment." Lu Zhen replied.

Leng Pan looked towards the living room and said goodbye to her mother-in-law and aunt.

Lu Zhen opened the door and his wife followed behind him. Once inside their house, the first thing he did was give her a passionate kiss.

Leng Pan had to push him away when his hands started to misbehave and roam around her body. He really wanted to do something to his wife, but he knew that it was not the time.

They couldn’t keep making love all the time and forget about training. After getting the meteorite, he understood that there were other things more powerful out there.

He didn’t know if there were others who had come across such a meteorite and whether they would become enemies or friends.

Moreover, he knew that some things can never be kept secret forever. What if some day someone discovered the meteorite or his wife’s space?

He had to have the strength to protect her in case something happened. In that case, he could only train her to become stronger and be able to protect her, and not only himself but also the rest of the family.

Thinking of these, he held his wife’s hand and led her to the bathroom to start training. Now it didn’t matter whether it was day or night they had to train when they had the time and rest when they were tired.

Leng Pan decided to practice her mimicry ability and see if she could solidify the reflection she created.

She wanted the mimicry she made to be completely indistinguishable from herself. That was the only way she could utilize it to the fullest.

Moreover, she wanted to be able to control it with her thoughts without anyone noticing. This was the only way to make such an ability useful.

Also, she wanted to practice the dual technique she and her husband had accidentally created. That technique could help them in trapping enemies or even using it as an escape without getting hurt.

She assumed that the stronger they become, the stronger the technique and the more lethal it will become.

Once they started to practice, the couple became very serious and pushed out all distracting thoughts. Lu Zhen still tried to create fire needles.

At first he only called about 10, but now that his superpower had advanced, he could definitely create more. However, he still needed to have absolute control over the needles so that he could aim at a specific spot when attacking without using too much energy or focus.

If he solely focused on the needles during a major battle, he could neglect protecting himself and cause an accident. Therefore, he wanted to be able to lounge if possible thousands of needles of fire without having to look and let them find their targets.

This might not be an easy task because then he will need extremely high mental energy and he still doesn’t know how to cultivate or increase his mental energy.

Nevertheless, he wasn’t going to give up. He had responsibilities to fulfill, especially with protecting his wife and other family members.

After practicing for a couple of hours, the two are drained of strength and energy. They needed to recharge before they could go on.

Taking some spiritual spring water out of the space, Leng Pan shared a bottle with her husband. She didn’t know whether it was because of the spiritual spring water she had absorbed, but once she drank only a little, she realized that she could recover faster than before.

This was good news and she hoped that it could stretch to her husband and probably the rest of the family although she doubted that.

While they were resting to recover their energy, Leng Pan realized that she had forgotten to ask her mother in law and aunt what superpowers they had awakened.

"It’s all your fault." She said with the pout of her mouth while looking at her husband.

Lu Zhen didn’t understand what he was being blamed for, but first he did What a henpecked husband would do. He apologized.

"Sorry Baby, I didn’t mean to upset you." He said, with an apologetic look on his face.

Then he proceeded to ask, "By the way Baby, what did I do to you?"

Leng Pan wanted to laugh at first. How could someone just apologize without even knowing what they had done wrong?

However, understanding her husband’s love for her and how much he cared about her feelings she realized why he apologized fast.

She didn’t want to take advantage of his feelings for her or make him feel less of a man. So she just went straight to the point and didn’t continue to tease him.

"I didn’t get to ask Mom and auntie what super power they had awakened. It’s because you pulled me too fast and we left the apartment that I forgot." She complained to him about his hasty actions.

"I am sorry. We can ask about the superpowers later. I just wanted to have some alone time with you, that’s why I was in a hurry." Lu Zhen replied as he looked at his wife with tenderness.

Leng Pan wasn’t angry at all. She was just making fun of him, after all they would still get to see the people next door. She could always ask later about the superpowers.

Then she thought about Lu Tao and wondered how his superpowers had changed when he came into contact with his older brother.

"What about your brother, did anything change?" Leng Pan proceeded to ask.
