Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 72: CURSE

"What did you see?" Damon asked curiously wondering what she could have seen that would make her want to leave, he was pretty sure it was related to Giselle but he was curious to know what she did.

"I think it’s best if you don’t know." Amelia bent her head fiddling with her fingers, something in her didn’t want to tell Damon anything so she decided not to.

"Fine, don’t tell but I just want you to know that anytime you need me, I will be here for you." Damon cooed pecking her forehead lightly closing his eyes unwillingly to part his lips from her fore head.

"Don’t act like I’m going away forever, I’m not even going today." Amelia hit Damon’s shoulder playfully trying to lighten but the tense and solemn atmosphere.

"I know." Damon responded with a tight smile on his face, "You know what, try dying your hair black first, I will go get you some contact lense and also a fake id." Damon continued, he wanted to get himself busy so that he would not overthink it and change his mind about letting Amelia go.

"I don’t wanna dye my hair, just get me some black wig." Amelia pouted her lips clutching at the edge of his shirt.

Damon smile became warmer as he looked at Amelia, this red hair had always been her signature look, any time she reincarnated as a new person anytime he saw the red hair, his heart would always be at ease that he was back home with the one he loved.

When Ophelia had gone missing that time Damon had almost gone crazy searching for her all over the place but she was no where to be found, but he felt that she was alive somewhere causing him to still have hope but that was gone when he did not have that feeling any longer.

At that time it was like something snapped in Damon, he killed more than usual and became extremely irky and would get irritated at everything, but then the hope in his heart lit up once more when he felt that thing.

There was a connection between Damon and Ophelia, it was their mate connection, that was how Damon was able to know if she is alive and after her death he felt that again.

At first he thought it was a mistake perhaps an error because the signal was coming from the human world. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺

Confused at that time Damon had journeyed to the human world curious at what he would find and was led to a hospital with a little baby laying there in a whit cot with glass around it.

Her hands frailed around as she wailed probably demanding for her food but there was no one there to meet her demands until few minutes late she was carried by a nurse out of the room.

Immediately the nurse carrying the baby stepped out of the room, Damon felt the connection get stronger making him wonder if the baby was his mate but why?

Damon lingered in the girl’s life always in the shadows, in her growth stage as an infant he was shocked to see she had red hair like Ophelia’s so he decided to stay around her and that was how he watched her grow.

Her features becoming more and more like Ophelia when she grew up with the connection getting morw stronger.

Damon remembered at that time he had confronted her finally on her 20th birthday, he simply wanted to know the truth and be sure of what he thought, he had thought that maybee Ophelia ran to the human world to seek refuge of some sort he would have definitely understood, but to his surprise whheen he confronted her she stared at him strangely likee he was a weird man disturbing her peace.

And when Damon tried to evoke her memories by reminiscing on the past she suddenly had a breakdown and ran away and was immediately ran over by a truck that appeared out of nowhere and like that the connection went off.

After that incident it was about a two years later that Damon felt the connection revive again and this time also it led to the human world.

Damon watched the child grow up from infant hood but was hestitant on confronting her like before due to what happened the first time.

So this time he carefully approached her and become her friend, tutoring her and helping the best way he could until one day he finally let it slip, same thing happened to her as she went ballistic heading towards a bridge and jumped down directly.

By the time it was the third one, Damon did not approach at all just watched her life on the sidelines till she died due to old age.

He thought that since this one had died naturally there would be no more again.

But to hiss surprise two years later he felt the connection spring up again but this time it was like it doubled filling his chest like it was about to explode.

Not knowing what to do Damon confronted Giselle and explained everything to her and she was able to piece two and two together.

She explained to Damon that Ophelia had probably put a curse on herself before she died that would make her reincarnate without any powers nor memories, and in order to get those memories back she must gain it all on her own or she would end up going berserk and dying no matter what.

Damon was stunned at this revelation but decided to put it in mind as he went to the human world but this time around he saw two identical twin girls laying in the same cot, onee was sleeping peacefully while the other babbled baby noises.

Damon looked stunned for a bit because he could sense Ophelia’s magic from one of the twins but Ophelia’s soul was in another.

He had hurriedly went back to thee underworld and explained everything to Giselle in which she calmed him down and broke everything down for him explaining what happened in detail and the only way to join the two.

That was how Damon met Amelia and Amalia.
