Chapter 46: REMEMBERED HIM

Amelia reached the payment counter and placed the food on top waiting for the cashier to check for the amount and give her the bill but she got nothing.

She angrily tapped her foot on thee floor waiting for a response but all the cashier did was stare at her, Amelia felt Silva presence at her back but decided to ignore, she was more focused on getting out of the damn mall.

"Ma’am, we would like to search you please." The cashier said rudely refusing to touch the food that Amelia had placed on the counter, she had seen Marcy’s melodrama and thought that maybe Amelia had indeed shop lifted.

Amelia was taken aback hearing her request but sighed, she knew that if she resisted the search it would make her look guilty.

"Touch her if you dare." Silva roared angrily from behind as he glared sharply at the Cashier.

He walked forward and pulled Amelia behind him, his aura seeped out as he stared at the Cashier as of daring her to step forward.

"Silva, you don’t need to worry, it’s not a big deal." Amelia said in a tired voice, she just wanted peace and was already mentally stressed, she was not ready for any more drama.

People who were shopping at their respective ailes, took a pause and stretched out their neck to see what was going on, they were surprised to see the handsome man and the heartless red haired, it seems that the pitiful girl was right about the shoplifting, either way they would love to see how everything ends.

"I can’t just let them embarrass you for something you clearly did not do, never." Silva queried as he stood his ground not wanting to move.

The rude cashier just sneered at the scene, "Sir, not to be rude but since you seem like a nice guy I’m going to point out what love seems to have blinded you not to notice, this woman clearly looks like a gold digger, can’t you see it, so step away and leave her before it’s too late." The cashier eyed Amelia with hatred in her eyes.

Amelia secretly rolled her eyes wondering whether she and the cashier were enemies in her past life to warrant such treatment.

Silva felt a surge run through his body as he kept on breathing heavily trying his best to maintain his cool, it was at this period he missed the underworld, where you can kill as freely as you wished.

"Silva is right sister, how can she just search you as she pleases." Marcy added popping out of no where.

Amelia irritation was at it’s peak when she heard Marcy’s voice because she knew the later did not come to help her at all, instead she made it seem as if she was trying to protect her sister who shop lifted.

"Get out of the way." Amelia muttered to Silva underneath her breath but Silva still would not budge, in anger, Amelia pushed Sliva away and walked towards the cashier intimidatingly, her eyes flickering between green and brown continuously.

Silva sensed the difference in Amelia and felt it was very much similar to her’s.

This is bad, I have to contain her or something might happen, Silva thought looking for a way to restrain Amelia from doing anything stupid.

"You called me a gold digger, huh." Amelia said more of a statement than a question.

"I dare you to say it again." Amelia glared hard at the Cashier, the Cashier suddenly felt cold sweat on her back as she gulped in fear, did this lady not look weak, tired and frustrated of life previously, how did she become so imposing so quick.

"You think I stole your shop petty goods." Amelia scoffed removing her overrall jacket, since it was winter, it was cold, so she had worn an overall jacket over a red t-shirt, with another jacket inside and a blue crazy jeans.

Amelia leaned across the counter and dragged the Cashier, by her hair, pressing her against the sharp counter egde tightly with a blood seeking smirk on her face.

"Let me go you bitch." The cashier cried trying to free herself from Amelia surprisingly strong grip, Marcy seeing this development stood In shock and hurriedly sneaker away squeezing through the crowd with the fear that she might be the next one.

The crowd looked on confused at the switch that just happened and wondering what would happen next, luckily for them, they had seen a free action drama to watch even while shopping, maybe they should come here more often.

"What did you just call me? A bitch?" Amelia let out an evil laugh before gripping on the Cashier hair tighter, pressing her against the counter top, "When I’m done with you, you would know that I am more than a bitch." Amelia continued on with a murderous glint flashing her eyes.

"Πήγαινε για ύπνο.(1)" Silva shouted raising his hands and almost immediately everyone in the mall dropped to the ground, except the cashier, Amelia and Silva.

"Why did you spoil my fun? It would have been nice to kill them too after killing this bastard." Amelia said without looking back.

"Calm down, no need to settle every thing with violence." Silva tried calming Amelia down as he moved closer to her step by step before holding her hand.

The cashier stared on with horror on her face wondering what was going on and who were this people.

"I swear if you let me go, I would call the police!!" The cashier yelled hysterically as she struggled out of Amelia grip with tear stinging her eyes.

"ξεχνάμε(2)!!" Silva chanted and immediately the Cashier stood straight with blank eyes, looking empty as she stared into an empty space.

"Let’s go." Silva said dragging Amelia’s hand away from the cashier hair.

"You are no fun at all just like before, still the rule following dimwit I know." Amelia said grabbing the food on the counter top before storming off leaving Silva dumbstruck, she actually remembered him.
