Revenge Deal With The Devil-Chapter 167: SIBLINGS RIVALRY
"Did you just see that, your precious father has just passed away and it’s all your fault, if your mother had not come into this life then you would not have existed either and all the emotions you and your mother made him feel would be nonexistent." Max taunted Adara looking at sobbing Amelia with the corner of his eyes, satisfaction flashed in his eyes when he saw that Damon was dead, he did not need to lift a finger anymore.
"You talk too much." Adara said trying not to get distracted as she moved her blade with full strength and agility aiming for Max’s head, seeing the determination in her eyes made Max laugh, "So this is it, you think you can kill me, forget I was nice to you before, to me you are nothing but an annoying pest that can be squashed with just a snap of my fingers." He said with a smirk in his face.
"Don’t underestimate me." Adara stated rushing towards Max with killing intent in her eyes as she swung her sword aiming for his neck but he disappeared and appeared at her back with no smile on his face at all, "You see just a pest." Max said coldly raising his hands up ready to strike.
Adara felt her eyes constrict, no matter how hard she tried she could not move, and if she did not move anytime soon it was sure that she was going to be dead if Max striked.
"Get your hands off my daughter." A cold voice sounded blocking Max attack while giving enough time for Adara to jump away as she recovered from the shock.
She looked up to see Damon standing there with his back facing her, he seemed to have fully recovered, she noticed that his claws were all out too and so were his horns.
"I can’t believe it you are alive." Max said with amusement written all over his face, "I am going to say this again Damon, leave your family, they are not worth it, you are the strongest being in the entire underworld, you can’t bring yourself down for some mere women, they are not even demons." Max yelled out in hopes of making Damon change sides but the culprit just slowly advanced with a dazed look, he was no longer himself.
The monster that had been locked away inside him for ages has finally been let out.
"Irrelevant, you also are my family so maybe I should start with you." Damon voice sounded reverberating the whole forest, the two faction whom were once fighting stopped to stare in amazement as they had seen the legendary true form of the devil.
"Even in your mindless state you still choose to protect those worthless things." Max sneered with disgust and immediately launched himself at Damon as a full blown fight started, one could barely follow what was going on as it was only afterimages that flashed before the beholder eyes.
Adara felt relieved to see that her father was okay and forcefully teared her eyes away from the fight when her eyes landed on Asis.
The anger that had somewhat died down surged up within her as she picked up her sword running towards him very fast.
She positioned her sword in a manner in which when she strikes even if it was from behind, Asis heart would probably come out of the other end.
Almost achieving her goal, Adara’s sword was suddenly blocked by a hand who looked at her with a skeptical look in his eyes.
"Do you really want to this?" Asis soft voice asked, he was feeling really reluctant to fight against this sistee of his.
"This was already our fate since the time you decided to betray my family." Adara said sternly as she glared hard at Asis.
"As you wish then, come at me." Asis urged drawing a battle stance in the two engaged in their own battle, it was a sibling rivalry and no matter what, in order for this particular scuffle to end between the siblings, one of them had to die.
Sean who was still engaged in a fight with Mike suddenly pursed his lips as the scene where Adara hugged Mike flashed his head, his attack became so much fiercer that Mike could barely hold on.
"Adara, there is still time to back out, are you sure you want to do this?" Asis asked as they exchanged blows but all he got as a response were the swords that swung in his direction showing her unrelentless urge to behead Asis and end his life.
"Even if father is better already, I would forever remember those wounds, if not for me bringing you home and treating you as a friend he would have never gotten hurt in the first place." Adara said still feeling guilty about what had happened to Damon.
