Aren looked at the reporter who asked the question briefly.

Then, he leaned forward to speak into the mic.

"No," he shook his head. "I have not filed a complaint. I’m afraid that if I do, my father might get hurt by the angered Titan Crest Entertainment."

He paused, then his gaze turned serious as he continued: "As for how I’m sure? It’s because I received threats from Iris Valcourt that she would target my family if I didn’t hand her the evidence."

"Even Lisa’s family had to stay hidden in their house because of their threats; otherwise, someone from her family might have also gotten kidnapped by now." He added.

The reporter nodded, satisfied by his answer.

She then began scribbling on her notepad as more reporters asked their own questions.

However, they kept in mind to not go too overboard with their lies.

As for Aren’s father getting kidnapped, it was true.

The catch, however, was that the kidnapper wasn’t Titan Crest Entertainment.

Instead, it was Ember who had her bodyguards play the role of goons and kidnap Aren’s father.

Aren’s father and family were oblivious to this truth, believing that he had been kidnapped by Titan Crest Entertainment.

Ember’s bodyguards even kept him in an underground bunker, acting as if they were waiting for orders from Titan Crest Entertainment before proceeding further.

The reason for all this labor?

It was all to garner sympathy and strike at the emotions of people.

Unless they felt that Titan Crest Entertainment was truly evil, they wouldn’t openly boycott it. They needed to hate it to make Aren’s plan work.

And what better way than to strike at their familial love?

Seeing Aren’s father getting kidnapped, wouldn’t they relate to him?

Wouldn’t they feel bad for him?

Wouldn’t they try to ease his pain and want him to get justice?

Moreover, Aren’s father was just a single scheme; there was also Lisa’s father, who displayed such an amazing performance to stir emotions in the hearts of the viewers.

Would they relate to Lisa and the three actresses who came from common and modest backgrounds or...

"Such lies! Such shamelessness!" She roared furiously, wanting to rip the faces displayed on the television screen to pieces.

"When did you tell me about Lucian?!" Her mouth twitched as she yelled incredulously, "When did I threaten you to compromise?!"

She had been watching the conference calmly just a few seconds ago, holding her anger.

However, she could hold no more as her anger burst like a volcano.

She hadn’t seen such shamelessness anywhere.

How could they lie with such a straight face?

Those three actresses whom she thought of as innocent sheep turned out to be cunning foxes, lying straight through their teeth.

"Truly worthy of being actors..." She uttered through gritted teeth as her eyes twitched.

In the whole press conference, she had heard nothing but lies come out of these bastards’ mouth.

Especially that Aren Frost!

When did she kidnap his father?

How dare he fabricate such a lie?

And that too while showing himself as the righteous hero who sacrificed his father for justice.

Bullshit!

"These bastards deserve to die!" She gritted her teeth and said, "This anger in my heart won’t subside unless I destroy them!"
