After Ember returned to her seat, it was Lisa’s turn to walk to the podium.

With a sad and solemn expression, she introduced herself: "Hello everyone, I’m Lisa Vern."

Flashes of clicking pictures painted her face white and only after they stopped did she continue:

"As all of you might’ve seen from the evidence, I’ve gone through a tough situation. But, more than Lucian, I’ve suffered at Titan Crest Entertainment’s hands."

The reporters looked at each other in confusion, unable to understand what she was referring to.

She paused, her eyes flickering as she took short, heavy breaths.

She then continued: "After the night I escaped Lucian, my real suffering began. The next day, on the sets of Symphony of Shadows, Iris Valcourt, Lucian Valcourt’s wife and the president of Titan Crest Entertainment, visited me."

She recounted the whole meeting:

—Iris’ offer

—Aren and her rejecting Iris

—Iris threatening to harm Aren’s family

—Then threatening to end Aren’s and Lisa’s careers.

"After she left, Aren and I both lost our roles in Symphony of Shadows. However, that wasn’t the worst part. We were both blacklisted from the entertainment industry, unable to get any new roles no matter what we did. Our career ended in a day. And then, that happened..."

Lisa shivered, and her eyes reflected slight fear in them.

She swallowed, continuing: "My fake videos and pictures spread on social media. Furthermore, Titan Crest Entertainment bought hashtags to keep them trending until the day Sun News finally broadcasted the evidence."

Tears welled up in Lisa’s eyes as her voice cracked, "Even my parents saw that video. My relatives taunted my parents about bad upbringing. And," Her breath hitched, tears streaming down her eyes.

"They... sob... had to... sob... suffer because sob of me—"

She covered her face with her palm, unable to stop weeping.

Her father and mother walked over to her to calm her down.

Her mother helped her shuffle back to her seat while her father took the mic.

"I’m Lisa’s father," he introduced himself in a humble voice as he said, "We are not rich and come from a normal background. Lisa has always been a good kid and I have always been proud of her."

His voice turned resentful.

"But seeing her suffer like this and the culprits to be acting innocent even after doing something so horrible to her, I cannot keep quiet."

His eyes shed tears, his voice sounding hoarse.

"Lucian only attempted to destroy my daughter’s life, but it was Titan Crest Entertainment which did it successfully."

"Not only did they end her career... they even ruined her reputation."

He wiped his tears and let out a heavy sigh.

After a brief pause, he looked straight and spoke with a hateful gaze: "Let me ask the chairman of Titan Crest Entertainment. You also have a daughter. How would you feel if someone spread such obscene videos and pictures of her for everyone to see?"

He paused briefly and spoke in a heavy voice:

"In my eyes, you are more evil than Lucian... I will never forgive you!"

Saying that, he walked away, returning to his seat.

[So it was really Titan Crest Entertainment behind those videos and pictures of Lisa?]

[Seriously... I was wondering how those trending hashtags and videos of Lisa vanished after the evidence aired. Now it all makes sense.]

[Wow... I’m impressed by Iris and the chairman’s acting in yesterday’s conference. They acted so innocent, but this is their true face.]

[Lisa’s father is right. Titan Crest Entertainment is the real villain.]

After Lisa’s father, the three actresses came to the podium one by one to narrate their emotional and heartbreaking stories of falling into Lucian’s trap.

On Aren’s instructions, they even exaggerated some parts to make their story more compelling, full of sufferings and emotions, to make people hate Lucian and Titan Crest more.

In their conclusions, each of them added one line:

"I informed Miss Iris about Lucian and asked for help, but she threatened me to keep my mouth shut; otherwise, she would make me disappear and hurt my family. I was so scared."

While two actresses said this about Iris, one of them went even further to name Neil as well.

"When I told the chairman, he threatened me, asking me to make compromises. He wanted me to sleep with him as well."

Of course, all of this was a lie. They never informed Iris or Neil about Lucian.

However, only a few knew the truth, including Iris and Neil.

Even then—

How would Neil and Iris prove that all of this is a lie and they weren’t aware?

This was the brilliance behind this conference.

They would thoroughly paint Neil and Iris as larger, even bigger villains than Lucian himself.

And since the actresses had really suffered at Lucian’s hands, no one would doubt their words.

With that, Titan Crest Entertainment would lose all of its reputation, as Aren desired.

As for why these actresses agreed to do as Aren asked despite the compensation Titan Crest Entertainment offered? 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂

It was because Ember offered to sign them with Sun Talent Agency instead.

Even though they were reluctant at first, after Ember explained to them how, after everything settled down, Titan Crest Entertainment would hold a grudge against them, ruining their career at the next chance they got; they readily agreed to her offer.

After all, if Titan Crest Entertainment crumbled, they wouldn’t have to worry about their retaliation in the future.

As for why Ember was readily doing all this, it was because she had no choice.

She had boarded a one way ship and there was no going back.

Once she agreed to Aren’s plan, she had to follow through to the end.

If Titan Crest Entertainment survived, she would have to suffer, with them as the enemy.

She had to make sure that they were left too small to even think of going against her.

And for that, Aren went to the podium at last.

Flashes of cameras welcomed him as he gripped the edges of the podium, speaking into the mic.

"Everyone, I’m Aren Frost."

He paused, sweeping his gaze over the faces of the reporters before continuing:

"By now, everyone is aware of everything that has happened to Lisa and me. However, there was one thing that they didn’t mention—Kidnapping."

His gaze sharpened, "Yes. My beloved father who raised me and took care of me, was kidnapped by the goons sent by Titan Crest Entertainment. Even now, he is held hostage. They were threatening me to destroy the evidence, but after Lucian was arrested, they are telling me to keep my mouth shut."

He yelled with a righteous gaze: "But I’m not a coward! I will not turn my back on Lisa. That’s not how my father raised me!"

As flashes of camera painted his face white, he shook his head slowly.

"I’m not here to complain, but to make a request."

He lingered for a few moment and then said steadily: "I cannot compete against Titan Crest Entertainment and I’m sure they will leave unscathed despite the wrongs they have committed. Therefore, I would like to ask for everyone’s help."

His eyes shone with a sincere light.

"Titan Crest Entertainment’s power comes from the celebrities signed with them; therefore, I implore every fan, every viewer, and anyone who thinks they should be punished to boycott the celebrities signed with them."

"If your favorite actor, idol or influencer is signed with them, request them to change agencies, and until they do, keep boycotting them."

"This is the only way I can ask for justice."

"If Titan Crest Entertainment remains influential, they would target more innocent actresses. They would even suppress me and Lisa who stood up against them. So please..."

"Against the evil tyranny of Titan Crest Entertainment, please help us to win!!"
