Return of the Immortal Emperor Daddy-Chapter 127: The Little Guy’s Snowman
Hail fell in Yang City.
"It’s snowing! It’s snowing!" the little one clapped her hands joyfully. "Can we make a snowman?"
"No." Hearing this, Wu Tian shook his head and calmly said, "Hail and snow are different."
"Then what is snow like?" the little one’s eyes widened with curiosity.
"Snow... is like this." Wu Tian smiled. He looked through the window toward The Firmament and flicked his finger.
Suddenly, Yang City trembled. Even in the depths of winter, it seldom snowed in the city. But now? The sky suddenly began to fill with falling snow, startling many of its residents. How can this be?
"My goodness, it’s snow!"
"Yes, it’s actually snowing in Yang City! This is the first time I’ve ever seen it in my whole life."
"It’s truly a miracle."
"..."
Throughout Yang City, most households gazed in amazement at the scene before them from behind their windows.
By the afternoon, the snowfall finally stopped, instantly transforming Yang City into a vast, white world.
"This is snow? This is really snow?" the little one asked, bouncing with excitement.
Only then did Wu Tian nod, speaking gently, "Yes, this is snow."
"I want to play! Um, I want to have a snowball fight, and, and I want to build a snowman! Can I, please?"
The little one’s eyes widened again, sparkling as she looked at Wu Tian. It was another wave of devastating cuteness; with such an adorable, pleading look in her eyes, no one could possibly refuse her.
Wu Tian chuckled, extending a finger to gently tap the little one’s forehead. She felt a refreshing chill that was perfectly comfortable.
"Go on, you can go build your snowman now," Wu Tian said.
He took the little one outside. Just after the snowfall, the air in Yang City was frigid. Hardly anyone had ventured out of their homes because it was simply too cold. But thanks to the touch from Wu Tian’s finger just now, the little one was completely oblivious to the chill.
She was now hopping joyfully on the snowy ground, bounding up and down. If she hadn’t been worried about the snow being dirty, she probably would have thrown herself right into it. This just went to show how successful Qin Yuhan had been in teaching her daughter about hygiene.
The little one giggled up at Wu Tian.
Wu Tian smiled back. He knew why his daughter was so happy: she had never truly seen snow before. If he had never gone to the Immortal Emperor Realm, he wouldn’t have seen snow either. The first snow Wu Tian had ever seen was in the Immortal Emperor Realm, before the tombstone of the long-departed Snow Emperor.
"Papa, watch out!" Before they even started making a snowman, what the little one wanted most was to have a snowball fight.
She ran into the house and dutifully put on a pair of gloves before gathering snow from the ground and packing it in her palms. Finally, she managed to form a snowball the size of a small bowl.
"Papa, heads up!" she cried, immediately hurling the snowball at Wu Tian.
With a slight movement, Wu Tian easily dodged it.
Undaunted, the little one quickly packed another snowball and threw it at Wu Tian. Although she was small, after receiving Wu Tian’s guidance, her strength was already beyond that of an ordinary child. 𝗳𝐫𝚎𝗲𝚠𝚎𝗯𝕟𝐨𝘃𝚎𝗹.𝗰𝗼𝗺
Snowball after snowball flew swiftly through the air, but Wu Tian dodged every single one.
After playing for a while, the little one started to pout. Why can’t I hit him? Am I not strong at all?
Seeing this, Wu Tian chuckled. He walked over, gently stroked her tender cheek, and said softly, "Be good. You can play a little longer, but then we have to get ready for lunch, okay?"
"Okay!" The little one nodded vigorously and went back to playing by herself.
Wu Tian smiled and went inside to make lunch. He wasn’t worried, as even the slightest disturbance outside wouldn’t escape his notice.
The little one squatted on the ground and began building a snowman.
Before long, Qin Yuhan came out. Seeing her daughter building a snowman in such cold weather, she immediately rushed over, wrapped her in a hug, and asked with concern, "Aren’t you cold?"
"I’m super strong! I’m not cold at all!" the little one laughed, feeling warm all over.
Holding her, Qin Yuhan could also feel that her daughter’s body was quite warm.
"Mommy, you’re cold. You should go inside," the little one suddenly suggested.
Qin Yuhan was taken aback. My daughter is so young, yet she already knows how to care for me? A wave of happiness washed over her.
"No, I’ll stay with you," Qin Yuhan said.
The little one could only nod.
At this moment, Wu Tian was in the kitchen. For him, cooking was an elegant affair, almost like creating a work of art. Murong Yezi watched her son cook, completely mesmerized. It was like watching a private performance.
At the same time, Wu Tian’s Spiritual Sense noticed Qin Yuhan outside, also building a snowman.
This silly woman... Wu Tian pointed a finger toward the Void.
Outside the house, Qin Yuhan instantly felt her body warm up as well.
Building a snowman? Nothing to it.
By the time lunch was ready, Qin Yuhan and the little one had finally managed to build a beautiful snowman together.
"Wow, wow, wow! It looks like a little Princess!" the little one clapped and laughed.
"No, you’re the Princess," Qin Yuhan smiled, scooping the little one into her arms and heading inside.
Lunch was delicious. The little one ate with gusto, as did Qin Yuhan and Murong Yezi. After eating, the little one pulled Qin Yuhan back out to build another snowman.
...
Guli Weiling had just finished packing and was preparing to leave for her new film shoot. But just as she drove her Land Rover out, she was stopped.
"Weiling, our Uncle Master is here. Aren’t you going to come out and greet him?" The one stopping Guli Weiling was Lu Yunsheng, who seemed much bolder with Wuyunzi by his side.
Guli Weiling got out of her Land Rover. Being polite, she approached Wuyunzi and bowed slightly. "Greetings, Uncle Master."
"Mm." Wuyunzi nodded and got straight to the point. "I heard from Yunsheng that you defeated him?"
Guli Weiling didn’t even deign to glance at Lu Yunsheng. How could he be so shameless as to bring that up? She felt she must have been blind to have ever thought this senior brother of hers was a decent person.
She had no reason to deny it, so she simply nodded, admitting it directly.
"You see, Uncle Master?" Lu Yunsheng said.
Wuyunzi nodded. In his eyes, Guli Weiling’s aptitude was indeed inferior to Lu Yunsheng’s. He thought for a moment, then asked, "Weiling, did you have some kind of fortuitous encounter?"
Guli Weiling nodded again.
Wuyunzi was overjoyed. "Then that fortuitous encounter must be related to our Wudang. That being the case, Weiling, you should hand over the Secret Scroll to the sect."
Guli Weiling was completely dumbfounded. What? What does this have to do with Wudang? How could Wu Tian possibly have any connection to Wudang?
"Uncle Master, I really don’t think it has anything to do with Wudang," Guli Weiling said.
Wuyunzi was stunned, not expecting her to respond that way.
Before Wuyunzi could say anything, Lu Yunsheng interjected angrily, "Guli Weiling, do you think you can look down on everyone now, just because you had one fortuitous encounter?"
