REJECTED ONCE, FROZEN FOREVER-Chapter 26: FORBIDDEN TRAINING

A month passed since the disappearance of Ariana, without her energy to drain the pack started to weaken in their defense. Ariana’s grandfather had passed away three days after she left, she had been his only reason to continue on living after he lost his mate in a rogue attack.

It was the day she was born and also the day the pack decided to deem as a bad omen. It was the more reason was why they hated her as her grandmother had been one of the doctors in the pack. So, by the time she turned 2 they started noticing that she was different.

Although they didn’t contact with warlocks, they decided to invite one and when she had told them about her powers and energy, they had been shocked. ’Her having all these powers are great, but if she grows up and becomes strong, she has the power to end up surpassing you and probably even replace you as the alpha." The warlock had said.

"Then what should we do?" The alpha asked.

"The only way out is to lock her powers and forbid her from ever training. If she gets her wolf and starts training, she would be stronger and then you could prepare to give up your position, as for what I know in your kind the strongest rules." The warlock said the last part in mockery.

"Then what should we do?" Her mother asked not wanting to be on bad terms with the alpha.

"She could become your energy source, that would drain her and keep her weak all the time, but I must warn once she leaves this pack all the energy received will cease to exist along with her." He said in warning.

"The strength gained with her energy will be like it never existed." He added to which all of them nodded and proceeded with the plan. "Let’s do as you say." Ariana’s father said, losing his mother made her dislike her from the moment she was born. Another reason could be said that they didn’t plan on having a third child and wanted ro get rid of it, it had been his mother who convinced them to give birth to her and she would raise her but died the same day she was born.

"Ariana Josh is waiting for you in the training area." Adrian walked in seeing her still sleeping.

It was understandable they had finally mated, and Adrian didn’t make efforts to hold back.

"Love wake up." He crawled on the bed kissing her neck to which she moaned.

"Get up." He said gently.

"I’m so tired." She said yawning it was only two hours ago that he let her go and she finally got sleep.

"Can’t you tell Josh to reschedule." She said her eyes dropping again.

"Are you that tired?" He asked teasingly.

"Isn’t this all your fault." She said looking at him.

"Okay I’ll tell him sleep a bit more." He said and kissed her head.

When he turned to look at her, she had managed to fall asleep again. He had a proud smile when he saw all the marks that she had on her body. He walked downstairs to the training ground and told Josh that she was tired.

"Is she that tired that she has to miss her training?" He asked in confusion.

"Yes she, look at him." Olivia replied.

"Olivia stay out of my head." Adrian said feeling annoyed.

"What happened? Never mind I can smell sex all over you." Josh said teasing him.

"Thank heaven we have heavy soundproof rooms." Olivia said with a sigh of relief.
