The server took the money and gave him his change.
Watching the exchange, Lin Xi’s mind drifted back to the time Xue Yang had made her pretend to be his girlfriend just to get a half-price discount.
"Remember? You left me a hundred yuan back then, too."
"I didn’t have much money on me at the time. In fact, I had to think for a good while before deciding to leave that hundred yuan with you. But you didn’t go home, you didn’t spend it, and you starved yourself half to death. Then, when you saw the bubble tea shop, you were rooted to the spot and just had to get a drink. "Okay," she replied.
Lin Xi knew that Xue Yang was a man of his word.
The server, however, gave him a surprised look.
At first, I was a little interested because he’s so handsome, but hearing him say that, I have to reconsider. So he’s just a player. Just as I thought, a good-looking guy could never be faithful.
