"Prince Raven, please wait a moment. Wait for me, Prince! Dammit! Why are your legs so long like that?"
Raven Gerwyn didn’t pay attention to Chintya Sylvester’s ramblings. The man was eighteen years old now. Three years ago, Raven started working to help his Father, Duke Edmund Gerwyn, manage the Duchy in the De Louis empire. This Duchy will be his and he will receive the title of Duke to replace his Father in the near future. Because of this, Raven continues to study to become a great Duke like his Father. Apart from being smart and successfully solving all of the problems in the Duchy, Raven Gerwyn is also known as the youngest and most extraordinary swordmaster. He also has immense mana in his body and has holy powers like his Mother, the Saintess, Duchess Penelope Askary.
The woman who was following him and whining at him just now was Chintya Sylvester. She has green hair and eyes like her Father, the high-ranking wizard and owner of the magic tower, Claude Sylvester. The man was Duchess Penelope’s magic teacher when they were young and also once liked the Duchess. Fortunately, Claude Sylvester realized that he would never be able to have Penelope Askary’s love before his head rolled on the ground because of Duke Edmund Gerwyn’s sword.
"Prince!"
Raven groaned in annoyance and stopped walking. The man turned his body to face Chintya. However, because Raven’s actions were too sudden, Chintya couldn’t stop her steps. The petite woman bumped into Raven’s chest, making her hiss softly and rub her forehead which hit the young Duke’s hard chest. Chintya pouted and looked up. Her green eyes looked into Raven’s unique eyes which had two colors, blue and gold.
"Why did you bump into me, Chintya Sylvester?" Raven grumbled.
"Then why did you suddenly stop, Prince Raven?" Chintya grumbled back. The woman took a deep breath and crossed her arms. Perhaps, in De Louis’ empire, Chintya was the only woman who dared to fight him and refute all of his words apart from his twin sister, Ocean Gerwyn. Well, Ocean really can’t be helped anymore. Even their Father was always dizzy and stressed when facing his little sister.
"Weren’t you the one who told me to stop?" Raven snorted. He crossed his arms and bent so that his face was level with Chintya’s face. Realizing this, Chintya immediately cleared her throat. She had known Raven Gerwyn since childhood. They are childhood friends. Chintya is also very close to Duchess Penelope and Ocean. But, she still could never win against Raven’s good looks. Chintya is embarrassed to admit it but Raven Gerwyn is her first love. The man was only two years older than her and Chintya was happy because she was the only woman in the De Louis empire who could be close to Raven Gerwyn besides Ocean Gerwyn.
All the noble ladies in the De Louis empire knew how cold and indifferent Raven Gerwyn was. Many noble ladies liked Raven Gerwyn and openly approached the young Duke. However, they immediately backed away because they were afraid of Raven Gerwyn’s expression and response. Sometimes, noble women who felt jealous of Chintya would do bad things to her. But, Chintya never cared about them. Strangely, a few days later after their bad behavior to her, Chintya always heard quite bad news about these women.
"Ah, about that!" Chintya looked up and looked into Raven’s golden eyes which she loved. Chintya also likes Raven’s blue eyes but it’s his golden eyes that she likes the most. "Prince, allow me to go on the expedition with you!"
"Huh?" The expression on Raven Gerwyn’s face immediately looked scary. "Have you lost your mind?"
"No." Chintya shook her head innocently. She smiled broadly and touched her head. "I still have my wits. Has Prince Raven forgotten that I am the smartest woman in this mansion? Ah, of course, the Duchess is the smartest in the mansion before me."
Raven snorted again. "No, I will not allow you to join this expedition. This is not child’s play, Chintya Sylvester. This is dangerous. If you are careless, you will lose your life."
"Hey, I’m the youngest female mage in the De Louis empire who has the ability and power equal to the owner of the magic tower."
"He’s your Father. Besides, why do you have to be a wizard in my mansion, huh?"
"Because the Duchess likes me."
"That’s what I mean!" Raven clicked his tongue in annoyance. He straightened his back. "Why does my Mother like you so much as if you were her biological child?" The man waved his hand and walked away again. "The point is, I won’t take you with me!"
"Prince—"
"Period!"
Chintya Sylvester stared at Raven Gerwyn’s departure with a look of disbelief and her mouth wide open. The man was indeed handsome but his good looks were outweighed by his annoying nature.
"Raven Gerwyn, you jerk!" Chintya shouted. Once again, only that woman dared to do that to Raven Gerwyn who was so feared by everyone.
Raven just raised his right hand in the air and waved without looking at Chintya. The man also laughed mockingly, then snorted.

Expedition day.
This territory is an abandoned territory and has never been visited by people. Only a few people dared to come here to kill monsters and sell the important parts of the monsters to earn money. Raven Gerwyn and several Gerwyn family’s knights were given orders by the current Emperor—Alfonso De Louis—to eliminate all those monsters. These monsters have been appearing in the capital for the past few days and hurting people.
"Why is your face like that?"
Raven turned his head. Alexander stood beside him, raising an eyebrow. The man was the son of Edgar and Sarah, and two years apart from the twins. He was only sixteen years old but his abilities as a Knight were so extraordinary that he was chosen as the vice commander tasked with protecting his commander, Raven Gerwyn. Sometimes, Alexander will also become Ocean Gerwyn’s knight. According to Raven, Alexander only wanted to get close to Ocean and not protect his twin sister. Well, Raven knew that Alexander would still protect his twin sister and that he was a good man but Raven was very annoyed when he saw that Ocean was much more dependent and much closer to Alexander than he was. Even his little brother, Marvel Gerwyn, always pulled pranks on Alexander whenever he had the chance.
"Do you know a man named Bryan Bliss?"
"Isn’t he the wizard in the magic tower that Claude Sylvester, Chintya’s Father, really likes?"
Raven snorted. "That man is so annoying, Alex. How dare he approach what is already mine?!"
Alexander glanced at his childhood friend. "Raven, I want to ask you something. Are you Chintya’s lover?"
"Do you want me to kill you?" Raven growled.
"Then why do you act as if you are Chintya Sylvester’s lover?" Alexander asked in a confused tone. "Look, dude, Chintya is a free young woman. She is free to be close to any man because she does not have a lover. You’re just her childhood friend."
"She’s mine," Raven growled. The man approached Alexander. His unique blue and gold eyes were sharp and cold. "Ever since we were little, she was mine. She likes me and never wants to be away from me. So, if any other man dares to approach Chintya Sylvester, I will give them hell." Raven pointed at Alexander’s handsome face. "That goes for you too, Alex. If you dare approach Chintya, I will make you regret it."
After saying that, Raven Gerwyn left Alexander. Alexander put his hands on his hips and grinned.
"You really look like Duke Edmund, Raven."
Suddenly, some knights shouted that monsters appeared and started attacking them. Raven, who was still annoyed and angry because he heard rumors that Bryan Bliss, who had extraordinary magical powers, was close to Chintya Sylvester, immediately took out his sword. He infused his aura into his sword, making it emit blue and black light. Then, Raven also infused his holy power and the pink color surrounded her sword.
Raven fought vigorously. He killed the most monsters among his subordinates. His handsome face was splashed with blood from the monsters he killed but Raven didn’t care. The man ran like a man who had lost his mind and killed the monsters while grinning and sometimes laughing. Seeing that, Raven’s subordinates immediately gulped and shuddered.
"Sir Alex," called one of the knights. Alexander, who had just killed the ninth monster, turned his head. "Is Prince Raven okay?"
"Raven?" Alexander glanced at his friend and shrugged his shoulders. He grinned. "I think he’s gone crazy. Forget him and don’t you dare approach him or talk to him. If you do that, you will end up in hell."
Hearing that, Raven and Alexander’s subordinates immediately said in their hearts not to upset Raven. Because, Raven Gerwyn’s anger is very scary and can make them stressed and traumatized for days.
Raven Gerwyn, who felt he had killed all the monsters, lowered his guard. The man was caught off guard. He wiped the disgusting blood on his handsome face and combed his black hair with his fingers. Then, the man frowned when he saw Alexander and his other subordinates frozen and staring at him.
"What are you guys—"
"RAVEN GERWYN!"
The exclamation made Raven freeze. He could always recognize that voice. The voice that makes him always have sweet dreams when he sleeps. The man turned his head and a magic circle appeared right above him. A monster intended to attack Raven but was unsuccessful because of the appearance of the magic circle. But, suddenly the magic circle broke and shattered. Raven widened his eyes and prepared to kill the monster but someone ran towards him and immediately hugged him. The person wearing a black robe and black hood intended to save Raven Gerwyn. The hood was lowered and the green hair made Raven wide-eyed. Especially when the back of the person hugging him was injured by the monster.
Chintya’s body fell on Raven Gerwyn. Raven still didn’t react. Everything was too sudden for him. How could Chintya Sylvester be in this dangerous place? What is that woman doing here? Did she come here secretly? Wait a minute. Raven touched Chintya’s back with his trembling right hand. It felt wet and warm. Then, Raven looked down at his palm. Blood covered his palms.
"Raven!"
Raven ignored Alexander’s call. He immediately treated Chintya’s back using his holy power. Then, Raven told Alexander to take over Chintya’s body and growl. He attacked the monster that dared to harm his woman repeatedly, not giving it a quick and easy death. Once satisfied with torturing the monster, Raven immediately killed it. Then, the man ran again towards Alexander and Chintya.
"Chintya Sylvester," Raven called in a trembling voice. "Are you—"
"Haha." Chintya chuckled and scratched her cheek which didn’t itch. Hearing the woman laugh, Raven blinked and froze. "I’m sorry that I followed you secretly, Prince. I just want to protect you because I am the wizard of the Gerwyn family. I want to be able to help you. Then, I was caught off guard and got hurt. I just caused you trouble instead of helping you."
Alexander was amazed that Chintya was brave enough to face a scary bear like Raven. The man cleared his throat and left the two of them. Then, Raven immediately carried Chintya on his shoulders as if the woman was a sack of rice.
"Kyaa! Raven Gerwyn, what are you doing?! Put me down! Everyone is looking at us! Hey! Are you deaf?!"
Raven ignored Chintya’s screams and took the woman into his tent. Then, he dropped Chintya on the bed and trapped the woman with himself on top of Chintya’s body.
Chintya swallowed hard and grimaced. "Err... Prince... Raven...?"
"Just call me by my name," Raven whispered hoarsely. He tucked Chintya’s green hair behind her ear, making her green eyes widen. "Just like you usually do when you’re mad at me."
"Err... That’s—"
"Tya," Raven called in his hoarse voice. Tya is Chintya’s nickname. "Did you know that my Mother was pregnant with me before marrying my Father?"
Chintya blinked. "Yes?"
"My Father made my Mother pregnant when they were drunk. And I am my Father’s son. I can do the same thing to you, Tya. I can do it because I don’t like seeing you close to other men, especially Bryan Bliss. You are mine, Tya. Since childhood, you were mine. I will not allow anyone to have you except me. Just so you know, Tya darling, I’m much more possessive than my Father."
After saying that, the man kissed Chintya’s lips. The woman’s green eyes widened again. She couldn’t move. More precisely, Chintya Sylvester doesn’t know how to react now. Then, Raven Gerwyn moved away from Chintya and came out of his tent while whistling. The man felt very relieved and happy now. He didn’t realize Alexander was looking at him while grinning broadly.
"Does Prince Raven love Chintya?" 𝚏𝗿𝗲𝐞𝐰𝚎𝕓𝐧𝚘𝘃𝗲𝐥.𝐜𝚘𝕞
Alexander glanced at one of his subordinates. "Didn’t you get the answer just by looking at his current attitude?" The man rubbed his chin and nodded. "I have to tell Ocean about this good news. It turns out her twin brother has been in love with Chintya Sylvester."
When Ocean Gerwyn teased Raven Gerwyn about this, Raven Gerwyn immediately looked for Alexander and ’tortured’ him.
