Goddess Elleia tried her best to defeat Goddess Oizys so that all the chaos and destruction of this world could be finished even though that meant she had to kill her close friend whom she considered her younger sister. Goddess Elleia carried out various kinds of attacks and managed to injure Goddess Oizys. However, Goddess Oizys always managed to injure her too. The two women were already exhausted and were catching their breath. There are bows in the hands of Goddess Elleia and Goddess Oizys.

"Oizys, please, stop all of this!" Goddess Elleia asked in a pleading tone. "You can still remember how we created this world full of happiness, right? Why do you have the heart to want to destroy that happiness?"

"To hell with happiness, Elleia," growled Oizys. She hit her own chest. "When I always have to suffer, when I always have to be sad seeing the happiness of you and those damn humans, why should I let them be happy? Isn’t that unfair? I am a Goddess who has the power of darkness! My existence is to make everyone suffer and fear! My existence is to spread terror and destruction! I’m just doing my job!"

"No! You’re not that kind of woman!" shouted Elleia. The woman cried. "Oizys, I can still clearly remember how you created Isabella Lysander and those humans with great care and affection. I can still remember your happy smile at that time,"

"Nonsense!" Oizys exclaimed. She pointed her bow towards Goddess Elleia again. The black arrow shot fast towards Goddess Elleia and the Goddess immediately dodged.

This time, it was Goddess Elleia who attacked back. The woman in the pink dress aimed her arrow at Goddess Oizys and shot her. Then, after seeing the arrow flying fast, Goddess Elleia opened her palm and cast a magic incantation. A small magic circle appeared and shot something towards Goddess Oizys.

Seeing that, Goddess Oizys cursed under her breath. She activated her protective magic so that a small explosion appeared when Goddess Elleia’s magic clashed with Goddess Oizys’ protective magic.

"I admit that you are very strong, Elleia. You are also very beautiful. That’s why Ares loves you." Goddess Oizys spoke in a cold tone. "But, I’m much smarter than you. You probably have a lot of holy power. But my dark power is also no less than your holy power. And, I’ve also got you caught up in my plans."

"What?"

Goddess Elleia was shocked when she was suddenly trapped in Goddess Oizys’ black magic circle. The black light surrounded Goddess Elleia like electricity and immediately shocked the Goddess. Goddess Elleia was wide-eyed. The woman screamed in pain. Her entire body felt like it was on fire and as if it was being stabbed by thousands of sharp knives.

Seeing that, Goddess Oizys laughed. She approached Goddess Elleia who was screaming and crying even more. The woman in the black dress entered the magic circle without feeling any pain at all. Of course that is because this is her own magic. Then, Goddess Oizys kicked Goddess Elleia until she lay down. Goddess Elleia started to vomit blood. Her body looked weak and unable to move.

"I will soon end your suffering, Elleia," whispered Goddess Oizys. She sat on top of Goddess Elleia’s body and wiped the tears and blood on her beautiful face. "Thank you for your current suffering which has made me much stronger. If we are reborn, I hope I will never be your friend."

Goddess Oizys created a black arrow and immediately pierced Goddess Elleia’s left chest repeatedly. Goddess Elleia was wide-eyed. She vomited blood again. Her body convulsed. There are several ways that Gods and Goddesses can kill each other. And Goddess Oizys used that method to kill Goddess Elleia.

Goddess Elleia couldn’t do anything anymore. The woman began to lose consciousness. However, before she completely died, Goddess Elleia smiled at Goddess Oizys and with her remaining strength, she stroked Goddess Oizys’ face.

"I... love you... Oizys...," said Goddess Elleia in a choked tone. Then, Goddess Elleia closed her eyes. In her heart, she recited an incantation. A spell to release all one’s divine power for someone. And she gave all of her holy power to Penelope Askary. This was a gift from her to that woman. A gift to atone for all of her helplessness in that woman’s past life when she failed to save Penelope Askary. This holy power will also make Penelope Askary free from the dark power of Goddess Oizys in her heart and mind because the Goddess knows that Penelope is being controlled by Goddess Oizys.

Finally, Goddess Elleia left the human world and the world of Goddesses forever, then Penelope Askary awakened as a Saintess with extraordinary holy powers given to her by Goddess Elleia.

"Goddess Elleia is dead."

Those words made Edmund Gerwyn and everyone who listened to Penelope Askary freeze. Currently, they were in Edmund’s study. The knights were helping the people around the Duchy and also in the capital. "How did you know, Duchess?" asked Claude Sylvester. The green haired man started to panic. He paled in his place. Likewise Ethan Askary and Philleo Aaron. Edmund allowed Philleo to join because the Duke thought the man could help them prevent the empire’s destruction. Helios Rune Abelavish has returned to his empire to help his people there. He promised to return to the De Louis empire to help Penelope and Edmund.

"Because all of her power was given to me," said Penelope. "When I awakened as a Saintess, I could feel that. I could also hear Goddess Elleia’s voice telling me to stay strong. She said this devastation would end soon if I could just be a little more patient and if we could work together." Penelope looked at Philleo who was standing with his back against the wall. "And, you are really needed here."

"I’m glad to be able to help," Philleo said with a smile and bowing. His attitude was, of course, to mock Penelope and everyone in this room. "Will you give me a reward if I help you, Penelope Askary?"

"Watch your mouth or I’ll kill you right now, Philleo Aaron," growled Edmund. "I know Ethan Askary guaranteed you so you wouldn’t get the death penalty but I never guarantee anything and I can kill you however I want."

Philleo snorted and raised both hands in the air. "Alright. I will be silent."

"Then, what should we do now?" Ethan asked.

Penelope was silent. The woman stood up from the chair and walked towards the window. She looked up at the sky outside. Even though the monsters had almost been wiped out, the dark sky remained in the De Louis empire. That means, this destruction is not completely over. Penelope crossed her arms and her golden eyes stared intently at the dark sky.

"I have to kill Gabriel Brown."

"What?!" Edmund, Ethan, and Claude exclaimed. The three men stared at Penelope in disbelief.

"Penny, that’s very dangerous," said Edmund in a firm tone. "Do you think I will let you meet and fight that man who has committed human sacrifice and let you in danger?"

"Edmund Gerwyn is right," nodded Philleo. "I’ve worked with him and he’s not a normal man, Penelope! If you let your guard down, he might finish you off!"

"That’s the only way," said Penelope. "Marquess Lysander is dead, that means the only minion of Goddess Oizys is Gabriel Brown. And maybe you too, if you ever work with that man."

Ethan, Edmund, and Claude looked at Philleo with sharp gazes. Philleo cleared his throat and looked away.

"I didn’t work with him anymore and never saw him again when I found out he almost made Penelope his guinea pig when I kidnapped her. I left that house after fighting Gabriel Brown. Regarding Goddess Oizys... Well, I did receive orders from her several times but I always failed. The last time I met that Goddess was when she ordered me to kill Isabella Lysander." Philleo glanced at Ethan. "But, when I found out she was pregnant with Ethan’s child, I didn’t kill her."

The atmosphere became awkward. Penelope couldn’t stay silent for too long. She looked at Edmund and smiled apologetically.

"Penny?" called Edmund. He had a bad feeling about this. "Why are you looking at me like that?"

"I’m sorry, Ed." Penelope snapped her fingers and the pink magic circle appeared. "I have to see Gabriel Brown right now."

"What?" Edmund was wide-eyed. "Wait, Penny! Don’t go alone! Penny!"

However, Edmund Gerwyn’s screams were in vain.

The Duchess has disappeared.

The lightning and thunder made Gabriel Brown laugh loudly.

He was at the temple. But, the man did not pray for the empire’s safety. He actually prayed for the destruction of the empire and had just finished killing the priests in the temple. His white uniform was dirty with blood, as was his handsome face. When he sensed someone’s presence, Gabriel Brown threw down the corpse he was dragging earlier and turned his body around. He grinned.

"Hello, Duchess!" Gabriel exclaimed. "Or, should I call you Saintess now?"

"You look busy, Gabriel Brown." Penelope Askary glanced coldly at Gabriel. Then, she glanced at the corpses of the priests around him. "Why did you kill them?"

"Because I hate them," Gabriel answered. The man shrugged. "And I want their holy power." Gabriel licked his lips. "I also really want your divine power. Goddess Elleia’s holy power! I’m the one who should get that holy power, Penelope Askary. Not a weak woman like you and not your disgusting children either! With the divine power of the Goddess, I can become the ruler of this empire, of this world!"

"It seems I have to teach you some good things before I send you to hell, Gabriel Brown," Penelope said in a sharp tone. "Starting from your mouth, which dares to say bad things about my children!"

Penelope Askary made a symbol with both hands and the pink light immediately attacked Gabriel Brown. The man laughed and took out a sword from his clothes. He deflected the pink light and a black light was seen emerging from Gabriel’s body.

"This is very interesting. Do you think you can beat me, little Saintess?"

Penelope smiled coldly. A smile that looked similar to Edmund Gerwyn’s.

"We’ll see."

The bloody battle between Penelope Askary and Gabriel Brown begins!
