The battle between Edmund Gerwyn and Sebastian De Louis continues.

Even though Sebastian couldn’t beat Edmund, the man still tried hard to fight the Duke. Edgar, Chris, and Jellal are also still fighting Tristan and Sebastian’s two shadow knights. From where she stood, Penelope Askary watched seriously. If Edmund needed her help, then the woman would do anything to protect and save her husband.

"Soon, the knights at the Abelavish palace will definitely come," said Helios in a firm tone. He looked at Penelope. "My Father will definitely know about this too. He will be very angry and maybe a war between the two empires will occur. Even so, I will tell him what really happened. That Crown Prince Sebastian De Louis was the one who started the fight first."

Penelope smiled and nodded towards Helios.

"Thank you, Your Highness. My family and I owe you a lot. We will never forget this and will repay all your kindness, Your Highness."

"Then," Helios smiled broadly. "What if we go on a date? Weren’t you ready to go on a one-day date with me at that time? But, because there was a problem, our date was canceled."

"I will kill you after I defeat this bastard, Your Highness Helios!"

Helios blinked and clapped his hands. "Wow! I didn’t expect you to still be able to hear me and Duchess Penelope’s conversation even though you were fighting like that, Duke Edmund."

"Shut up!" grumbled Edmund.

Penelope shook her head in amusement and turned her head when she heard the sound of something being thrown. She and Helios turned their heads around and Philleo Aaron seemed to have been thrown by someone on the floor. Penelope gasped and turned her head to the side when she felt someone’s presence at her side.

"Older brother?!"

"Your magic teacher managed to make this man faint when he wanted to kill Isabel," said Ethan in a cold tone. Penelope and Helios froze, as did Jeremy. The three people widened their eyes and did not think that Philleo Aaron could enter without the other people in this palace knowing. "Fortunately, before Claude Sylvester came and tied him with magic and then used a spell to lower this bastard’s mana, Duke Edmund’s shadow knight named Brandon came to protect Isabel."

Penelope immediately approached Isabella who was hugged tightly by her older brother. Penelope immediately used her healing magic on Isabella and looked at the man behind Ethan and Isabella. The Duchess smiled.

"Hi. You must be Brandon. I have never met you but I am grateful to you because you protected Isabel."

Brandon knelt before Penelope and looked down.

"Greetings to the Duchess. May Elleia’s light always be with you," said Brandon. The man cleared his throat. "It is my duty to protect Lady Isabella because Duke Edmund asked me to do so, Duchess."

"Duchess."

Penelope turned her head around and smiled broadly at Claude. "Claude! Thank you for saving my future sister-in-law and catching this bastard!" Penelope pointed at Sebastian De Louis and his people. "Then, can you catch them using your magic like you caught Philleo Aaron?"

Claude blinked. "Huh? Isn’t that... the Crown Prince."

"Correct!" Penelope laughed and clapped her hands. "I’m glad you recognized that damn man."

"Wait a minute, Duchess," Claude laughed awkwardly and took a deep breath. "Let me make this clear. Do you want me to tied His Highness Crown Prince Sebastian De Louis with my magic power? Do you want me to be executed for daring to touch and hurt a member of the imperial family?"

"I will take responsibility," Penelope said in a calm tone. She winked. "You just have to obey my words, Claude. Or, do you want your head to fly because I reported to my husband that you don’t want to carry out my orders?"

"Duchess! Why are you doing this to me?!" Claude whined. However, the man finally did what the Duchess ordered. He made complicated symbols and movements with both hands to create a magic circle, then green magic ropes began to emerge from the floor and tied the bodies of Sebastian, Tristan, and the Crown Prince’s two shadow knights.

"Hey! What the hell?!" shouted Sebastian. His sword slipped from his hand and the man struggled to free himself from the strong ties of the green rope. "What are you doing, Penelope Askary?!"

"Me? My magic circle is pink, Your Highness," Penelope answered in an amused tone. "And the magic that binds you is green. Are you blind?"

Sebastian growled and the man fell as his balance was lost. His back hit the floor, making the man scream and curse.

"I will kill all of you because you dare humiliate me!" shouted Sebastian De Louis.

Suddenly, Penelope and the others heard screams full of fear from the people around them. The woman immediately became alert. She ran out of the palace, making Edmund widen his eyes and immediately chase after her.

"Penny! Wait! You could fall and get hurt!" exclaimed Edmund. When he saw Philleo Aaron helpless and collapsed on the floor at Ethan’s feet, the Duke stopped running. The man stared at Philleo with a murderous gaze. "This is a good opportunity for me to kill this bastard. I will cut off his head right now."

"Woah, Duke Edmund!" Helios immediately stopped Edmund who had pointed his sword at Philleo’s neck. "You better go after your wife right now before she gets involved in dangerous things. I will make sure this man cannot escape again."

"I’ll put magic on his body so he can’t use his magic to escape," Claude said in a tired tone. He didn’t know what happened but it seemed like all of them hated this man very much.

Meanwhile, Penelope looked up at the sky which was suddenly covered by dark clouds. Lightning appeared in the dark sky and some red smoke began to appear around the dark sky. Then, from the sky, some strange creatures flew.

"Penny!" exclaimed Edmund. The man stood beside Penelope and looked up at the eerie sky. "What the hell? What is going on right now?"

"It’s started," Penelope said in a trembling voice. The woman clenched her fists at her sides. Penelope swallowed hard and looked at Edmund. "The darkness began to envelop the De Louis empire and the Abelavish empire. Then, the monsters will start a massacre. Black magic will be awakened. I will be controlled by Goddess Oizys and destroy everyone, making everyone suffer."

"I won’t let that happen, Penelope Askary," said Edmund in a firm tone. "I will make sure you are safe and happy in this life."

Penelope smiled. The woman nodded and cupped Edmund’s face. Then, she kissed Edmund’s lips, surprising him. After the kiss was finished, Penelope looked up at the black sky again and a pink magic circle appeared under her feet and under Edmund’s feet.

"Penny?"

"I will take you all back to the De Louis empire," said Penelope. She looked inside the palace, at Ethan Askary and the others. Penelope was also sure that these magic circles appeared under Sarah and the twins’ bodies. "We will start fighting against Goddess Oizys and her minions. Everything will start in the De Louis empire."

Penelope snapped her fingers and the pink light enveloped Penelope and everyone she wanted to go to the De Louis empire.

Then, they disappeared.

Today, Penelope Askary will start her war. She will ensure that her fate of death will be changed and destroyed.
