Edmund Gerwyn responded calmly to Sebastian De Louis’ threat.

The man removed his arms from Penelope Askary’s petite body and hid the woman behind his body. His blue eyes glared sharply and firmly at Sebastian. The atmosphere created between the two men was extremely tense, making everyone subconsciously hold their breaths. Behind Edmund, Penelope stood as support. You stabbed me in the back, Edmund Gerwyn! You took everything I wanted! You took Penelope Askary from me!"

"Did I ever complain to you when you approached Isabella Lysander?" Edmund asked in a firm tone.

"What do you mean?" Sebastian asked back.

"You know I used to like her too," answered Edmund. He glanced at Penelope.

"Ha! How dare you admit that in front of your wife, who you say you love so much," Sebastian laughed mockingly. Then, he looked at Penelope. "Penelope, did you hear that? He just said that he likes Isabel! Ethan! Did you hear that? Your brother-in-law said he likes my woman who is impregnated by you!"

Everyone remained silent. Penelope is the same way. She looked back at Edmund and smiled softly at him.

"I know."

"What?" Sebastian couldn’t believe his own ears.

Penelope looked at the Crown Prince of the De Louis empire with a firm gaze. "I said I knew that my husband had liked Isabel. Apart from losing your mind, have you also lost your hearing, Your Highness?"

Hearing that, Helios laughed. When Sebastian gave him a murderous look, Helios cleared his throat and said, "Hey, this is my palace! I’m free to do anything, including laugh. Besides, what Duchess Penelope said was very funny. Isn’t that right, Jeremy?"

After saying that, Edmund immediately ran towards Sebastian while pointing his sword. Startled, Sebastian widened his eyes. He immediately blocked Edmund’s attack. "Duke Edmund! How dare you attack His Highness?!" Tristan shouted. Sebastian’s loyal knight ordered two of Sebastian’s shadow knights to attack Edmund but Penelope immediately snapped her fingers. A big wind suddenly appeared and a pink magic circle appeared to throw Tristan and Sebastian’s two shadow knights away. The three people’s backs hit the wall, making them cough out blood.

"Don’t touch my husband!" Penelope shouted. "Ren, Jellal, Edgar, you guys help Duke Edmund!"

"Your wish is my command, My Duchess!" shouted the three knights and immediately carried out Penelope Askary’s orders.

"I’ll check on Isabel," Ethan said suddenly, making Penelope and Helios look at him. Jeremy got into position to protect Helios and Penelope. If these two people were in danger and injured, his entire bodies would definitely be cut off by the Emperor and Empress of the Abelavish empire, and also by Duke Edmund. Jeremy had also ordered some people to report this incident to Emperor Abelavish. "I’m worried about her. Are you okay if I leave you, Penny?"

"I will protect her," Helios said. "If you have met Lady Isabella, take her back to her room."

Claude Sylvester is busy completing the magic formulas he created.

Since Penelope Askary was pregnant with her second child, Edmund Gerwyn forbade the woman from studying magic for too long. Today was their holiday and Claude used this to create new magic formulas.

The voice in Claude’s head made the man frown. He stopped writing and looked around him. There’s no one. There was only him in this room. Did he just hear a ghost’s voice?!

"Who’s that?!" Claude exclaimed. The man stood up from his chair and swallowed hard.

’Claude Sylvester, Penelope Askary and Isabella Lysander need your help.’

Claude blinked. "Huh?"

’I will send you to their place,’ said the voice inside Claude’s head.

When the dazzling pink light appeared, Claude closed his eyes. And, when he decided to open his eyes again, the man widened his eyes. Purple and black light shot out from the palm of a black-robed man towards another man who was in front of him and was injured. Then, Claude saw Isabella Lysander crying by the door while leaning her back against the wall and looking scared.

"Hey! That’s dangerous magic! You can kill him!" shouted Claude. The man immediately cast a magic spell and pointed his right palm towards the person who was injured and about to be attacked. A magic circle appeared and blocked the purple and black light. A small explosion was created, making Isabella scream and cover her ears tightly.

Meanwhile, Claude opened his left palm towards the black-robed man. He cast another magic spell and a green magic circle appeared under the black-robed man’s feet. Then, several green ropes came out of the magic circle and immediately tied the body of the black-robed man.

Philleo Aaron, who didn’t expect someone to suddenly appear in the room and immediately save Brandon then attack him with binding magic, gasped. He tried to cast a magic spell to free himself from the strong bonds on his body but the person who suddenly appeared moved faster.

"Ha! You won’t get away from me, you damn man!" Claude growled. He cast another magic spell, then made quite difficult movements with both of his hands. Finally, Claude clapped his hands once and the green light enveloped Philleo. Philleo widened his eyes and struggled but still couldn’t escape from the green rope ties on his body. In the end, the man’s eyes began to close and he simply passed out.

"Isabel!"

The shout made Claude turn his head around and blink. Claude immediately approached Isabella Lysander and Ethan Askary who had just arrived. The man checked Isabella’s condition and immediately hugged her, making Claude smile faintly.

"Lady Isabella, are you alright?"

The question made Ethan turn his head. He blinked when he saw Claude Sylvester and looked at Philleo Aaron who had fainted. Then, there was a man he didn’t know who was injured and trying to catch his breath.

"Claude Sylvester?" Ethan helped Isabella to stand up and kept hugging her. "What are you doing here?"

"Err..." Claude was confused about what to answer. The man rubbed the back of his neck and cleared his throat. "I also do not know. I was creating a new magic formula when a voice suddenly appeared in my head and suddenly I was here." Claude pointed at Philleo. "That man has very dangerous magic, Prince Ethan.
