Penelope Askary sat alone in the backyard of Gerwyn’s mansion.
She didn’t want to be disturbed by anyone. After Sarah treated her wounds, Penelope was strong enough to heal herself using her healing powers. After checking Raven and Ocean’s condition, she received information from Chris that the entire Brown family had been executed in the palace except for Gabriel Brown. He even helped the Emperor to check his little sister’s belongings which had black magic in them.
"I’m so tired," Penelope muttered. The woman leaned her back against the tree trunk behind her and closed her eyes. She enjoyed the wind blowing around her. The wind seemed to want to calm her down. "How long do I have to experience horrible things like this? How long do I have to hide from death which always wants to pick me up? Can I protect Edmund, the twins, and the people I love in this world?"
Penelope took a deep breath and opened her eyes. She looked ahead, at Sarah and Rosaline, who were playing with the twins. Rosaline was indeed visiting Gerwyn’s mansion to meet her. She also received orders from the Duke and Duchess Askary to check on her condition because information about her being attacked by Elisha Brown had reached their ears. And, Penelope was sure, soon Ethan Askary would find out about this information and would immediately come to check on her condition.
’Penelope.’
The voice made Penelope blink. She looked around but didn’t find anyone. Because of that, Penelope knew that the one who called her just now was Goddess Elleia. The Goddess must have something to say to her. Penelope smiled and stood up. Just by hearing the Goddess’ voice, Penelope felt like all the burdens on her shoulders disappeared.
’Penelope, go to your room,’ said Goddess Elleia in Penelope’s head. ’I’ll meet you there.’
Without wasting any time, Penelope went straight to her room. When she passed Sarah and Rosaline, Penelope stopped briefly to ask them to look after Raven and Ocean. Then, the Duchess kissed the twins on the forehead and both cheeks and went straight to her room. She also gave a message to Rosaline and Sarah to tell Edmund when the man came home that she was in the room.
After arriving at the room and making sure that no one could enter the room except Edmund, Penelope looked around. Then, the woman turned her head when she noticed a pink light appearing in the corner of the room. Penelope approached the light and Goddess Elleia appeared there. The Goddess smiled and hugged Penelope while stroking her hair lovingly.
"You have had hard and tiring days, my child," said Goddess Elleia. She kissed Penelope’s forehead and then cupped her face. "You fought very well. I am so proud of you. I know this is hard for you but I’m sure you can get through all of this."
Penelope smiled and nodded. "Mm. I know. I have many people who love me in this world. For their sake, I will continue to fight until the evil and darkness in this empire disappear." The woman blinked and snapped her fingers. "Goddess Elleia, not long ago, monsters and other scary creatures appeared in the De Louis empire. Then, there was a mysterious woman who told everyone in the square that I was a Saintess."
"Yes, I know," nodded Goddess Elleia. The woman smiled gently and winked. "Because I am that mysterious woman."
Penelope’s mouth opened wide. "What?"
"I disguised myself as a human and deliberately gave that information to everyone so that they would know that you were the Saintess I chose." Goddess Elleia shrugged her shoulders. "That way, you will get a lot of support and protection. Goddess Oizys also won’t be able to carry out her plans easily. She will not easily make the people of this empire suffer and it will not allow her to gain power."
"Then, those terrible monsters were the work of the Goddess Oizys, weren’t they?"
Goddess Elleia nodded. Her expression turned serious. "Goddess Oizys became increasingly angry because none of her plans worked. She really wants to make you return to being a Villainess like in your previous life. She wants to make you destroy this empire and make you die again at the hands of Edmund Gerwyn."
"She also intends to make my children the destroyers of the empire," Penelope growled. "I don’t know why she wants to destroy me and my family so badly."

"Yeah, I remember that." Penelope took a deep breath. "But, Goddess, there are some things I don’t understand."
Goddess Elleia invited Penelope to sit on the edge of the bed. She held Penelope’s hand tightly, sharing her warmth with Penelope.
Feeling that she had received permission and approval from Goddess Elleia, Penelope said, "At that time, I met the soul fragment of the real Penelope Askary. Penelope Askary from the first life. She forbade me from getting involved with Edmund Gerwyn but allowed it in the end because she saw that I was very happy and because I was pregnant with that man’s child. Then, Edmund said that he met a piece of Edmund Gerwyn’s soul from his first life. The man said that he and Penelope were lovers before Penelope betrayed him because she loved Sebastian De Louis." Penelope swallowed hard. "Who should I believe, Goddess? Why are there two versions of the story of soul fragments that lived at the same time?"
"Ah." Goddess Elleia nodded and tilted her head. She smiled. "Penelope, should I show you?"

"I will show you," said Goddess Elleia. "Regarding your life and the life of Edmund Gerwyn in your previous life."

Philleo Aaron growled and threw objects around him.
The man remembered the incident when he was in the empty building with Penelope. If only no one had come to disturb him and Penelope, he would have touched the woman and put his seed in the womb of the woman he loved so much.
"Who exactly are they?" Philleo clenched his jaw and clenched his fists. "They suddenly appeared and immediately attacked me. They don’t even like seeing me close to Penelope and won’t let me call that woman by her name!"
"They are Penelope Askary’s children from the future."
The voice made Philleo flinch and turn his head around. The black magic circle appeared along with a beautiful woman. Philleo recognized the woman as Goddess Oizys. The woman who had helped him make a plan to get Penelope Askary and make him collaborate with Gabriel Brown, the head priest.
"What do you mean?" Philleo asked in a confused tone.
Goddess Oizys approached Philleo and caressed the handsome face of the purple-eyed man.
"The person who attacked you was Raven Gerwyn and the other one was Ocean Gerwyn," explained Goddess Oizys. "They came from the future to save Penelope Askary from you. Those kids are so annoying, aren’t they? If you succeed in killing them in the present, their existence in the future will disappear."
"But, Ocean—"
"Philleo Aaron," Goddess Oizys interrupted Philleo’s words. "I know you like Ocean Gerwyn because she is very beautiful and very similar to her Mother, Penelope Askary. But, that child will be your biggest obstacle to getting the woman you love, Philleo! Do you want to lose Penelope forever, huh?!"
Philleo was silent. He clenched both hands into fists and gritted his teeth.
"I... don’t want that to happen," Philleo said. "I have to get Penelope Askary!"
Goddess Oizys grinned and hugged Philleo’s neck from behind. She whispered in his ear in a sensual tone.
"Therefore, listen to all my orders, Philleo. I’ll make you get Penelope Askary whom you love so much. I can do it easily."
"Of course," nodded Philleo. "For Penelope’s sake, I’m ready to do anything!"
Goddess Oizys laughed in her heart.
’Finally, I managed to get another doll that I can use to destroy Penelope Askary and her family!’
"Then, first, you have to kill someone."
Philleo turned his head. He looked into the eyes of Goddess Oizys and seemed to be bewitched by her.
"Who should I kill?" Philleo asked in a firm tone.
"Isabella Lysander," answered Goddess Oizys in a sharp tone. "That woman will ruin all my plans. And, if all my plans fail, you won’t be able to get Penelope Askary. You certainly don’t want that to happen, right?"
"Ah, that bitch," Philleo smiled coldly. "I’ve hated her for a long time. She always made Penelope sad and cry. She even slapped my woman once. If it’s just killing her, I can do it without even blinking. But, I heard that she no longer lives in Marquess Lysander’s mansion."
"She lives in the Abelavish imperial palace," said Goddess Oizys. The woman stepped away from Philleo and started to disappear. "Hurry up and kill that woman, and you will get closer to Penelope Askary, Philleo Aaron."
