Isabella Lysander dropped the glass she was holding.

The woman tried to catch her breath. Cold sweat started to appear on her pretty face. Her body trembled and she gulped. Seeing that, Helios, who had just entered the guest room used by Isabella—Ethan Askary, of course, returned to the Askary mansion because of Penelope and Isabella’s nagging—directly ran toward the woman. Jeremy faithfully followed Helios and a maid also immediately approached Isabella to clean up the shards of glass from the broken glass.

"Lady Isabella, what happened?" asked Helios in a panicked tone. He immediately knelt in front of Isabella and held her hand to examine her. "Is your hand injured?"

"No," Isabella shook her head. She moistened her lips. "I am alright. Your Highness, I just had that vision again. Penny... she’s in danger. Crown Prince Sebastian De Louis, he came to Gerwyn’s mansion with a wizard and is going to kidnap Penny! He wants to lock Penny in his palace and wants to make Penny bear his child!"

"That bastard," Helios growled. "What can he do but make trouble?!" Helios stood up and looked at Jeremy. "Jeremy, we have to get there right now! We have to save Duchess Penelope. When we get to Gerwyn’s mansion, I’ll go straight to find the Duchess and you go straight to the Duke to tell him about Lady Isabella’s vision."

"Allow me to come with you, Your Highness!" Isabella stood up from the chair and stared firmly at Helios.

"Lady, this is dangerous," said Helios. "Didn’t Sebastian De Louis also want you to be his? I heard from Prince Ethan and Duke Edmund, that Sebastian De Louis wants to take you as his concubine and make Duchess Penelope his Empress. If you appear in front of Sebastian, that man will definitely kidnap you too. He will lock you both up in his palace."

Isabella shook her head firmly. "I have to go there to save my friend, Your Highness! If I have this power to save Penny, then I will do whatever it takes to save her!"

Helios was silent. He stared firmly at Isabella. This woman is strong. She would not back down even if Helios gave thousands of reasons to keep her here. Helios took a deep breath and massaged the bridge of his nose. He snapped his fingers and three magic circles appeared at once. The magic circles appeared under the feet of Helios, Isabella, and Jeremy respectively.

"Your Highness, you must seek permission from Her Highness the Empress first! Have you forgotten that the last time you left without asking Her Highness the Empress for permission ended up getting you scolded and punished by her?"

Helios looked at Jeremy with a lazy look. "Jeremy, I’m an adult. I’ll apologize to my Mother later. Now, stop acting like a nag!"

Jeremy could only pout and cover his face with both hands.

"My salary will definitely be cut by His Highness the Emperor and the Empress," Jeremy muttered.

Penelope Askary knew she was in danger the moment a magic circle with red light appeared beneath her feet.

The woman started to panic. She didn’t want to go to a strange place where Edmund wouldn’t be able to find her. She didn’t want to separate from Edmund and the twins. More importantly, Penelope doesn’t want Sebastian De Louis to touch her and even make her pregnant with his child! Just thinking about that disgusting thing was enough to make Penelope want to vomit.

’Destroy him. Smash them all, Penelope. Kill him. He will hurt your children.’

The voice appeared in Penelope’s head, causing the woman to freeze and clench her hands at her sides.

’I will help you,’ said the voice again in Penelope’s head. ’You can defeat Sebastian De Louis, Penelope. You have incredible power to eliminate that man and everyone who tries to bully you!’

"I have to protect my children," Penelope muttered. Her golden eyes had now turned red and glowed frighteningly. From her body came a black light, making Sebastian De Louis and the wizard behind him freeze and widen their eyes as they stared at the beautiful woman. "I have to kill those who want to harm us!"

The red magic circle under Penelope’s feet suddenly disappeared. Seeing that, Sebastian clenched his jaw. He approached Penelope while pointing at her face.

"Why can’t you voluntarily come with me, huh?! Do I have to use violence on you to make you obey me, Penelope Askary?!" Sebastian shouted.

Penelope stared at the man in front of her with a murderous look. Then, the woman opened her palm and a black magic circle appeared on it. Sebastian stopped walking and blinked. The man widened his eyes and screamed as his body was suddenly sent flying and finally hit the tree trunk behind him. Sebastian groaned in pain and he coughed up blood. The wizard, who came with the Crown Prince, was surprised and immediately helped Sebastian.

"Your Highness, are you all right?" The wizard asked frantically.

Sebastian ignored the wizard and stood up. "Penelope Askary! What are you doing to a member of the imperial family, huh?! You dare hurt a Crown Prince like me?!"

"Kill everyone who wants to harm me," Penelope muttered. This time, she opened her palms and an even larger magic circle appeared. "Kill them. Destroy the world. Make everyone suffer!"

Sebastian could only freeze and widen his eyes as the black light that was even bigger than before was aimed at him. He closed his eyes, preparing to accept the worst. However, after he waited a few seconds and felt no pain in his body, Sebastian decided to open both eyes. He was surprised to see a rather large golden magic circle right in front of his face as if protecting him. Sebastian’s legs suddenly went limp, causing him to fall to his knees.

"Hello, Duchess," greeted Helios Rune Abelavish. He stood in a tree in front of Penelope and jumped down. The magic circle he made managed to thwart the attack from Penelope Askary’s black magic. The woman stared at Helios with a gaze full of anger and hatred. "We just met yesterday and I didn’t expect to see you in such a different state."

"Penny!"

The scream made Helios and Penelope turn their heads around. Isabella ran with a panicked and worried face toward Penelope. When Isabella was almost near Penelope, Helios immediately cast barrier magic on the woman so she couldn’t get close to Penelope. Meanwhile, Helios and Isabella could hear the twins crying in their baby cart.

"Lady Isabella, I hope you stay there and take care of Prince Raven as well as Princess Ocean," said Helios in a firm tone. "Right now, Duchess Penelope is not the kind-hearted woman we all know."

Realizing the situation was out of control, Sebastian clicked his tongue angrily. He ordered the palace wizard to take them home and the next second, the two men disappeared. Helios snorted and shook his head in disbelief.

"Sebastian De Louis is truly a shameless man."

Meanwhile, the sound of people running made Helios, Isabella, and Penelope turn their heads again. This time, Edmund Gerwyn and Jeremy came. The Duke looked panicked and anxious when he saw his wife. He had heard information about Isabella’s vision of Penelope from Jeremy and immediately searched for his wife along with the personal knight of Helios.

"Penny!"

"Be careful, Duke," Helios warned. "She’s not the Duchess Penelope we know."

"What do you mean?"

"Look at her eyes," said Helios. "Are the Duchess’s eyes red like that? Can the Duchess create a black magic circle like this?" pointed out Helios. "It’s black magic, Duke. Currently, someone was controlling the Duchess. Maybe, this was triggered by Sebastian De Louis, who tried to kidnap her and hurt her. However, still, the person controlling the Duchess must have enormous power."

"Goddess Oizys," growled Edmund. "That woman always disturbs the peace of my family!"

"Duke, watch out!"

Edmund flinched when he heard the scream. Suddenly, Penelope ran toward him and lunged at him. The woman sat on top of Edmund as they both fell onto the grass. Then, Penelope choked Edmund’s neck tightly. As if that wasn’t enough, Penelope also used the black magic power that suddenly appeared in her body. The black light shot out of Penelope’s hand, making Edmund groan in pain. His neck seemed to be on fire. It hurts a lot.

"Pe... nelo... pe...," called Edmund in a choked tone. The man was starting to have trouble breathing. He held both Penelope’s wrists. Even his wife’s wrist felt hot. "It’s me...."

"Dammit!" Helios ran toward Penelope and tried to keep the Duchess away from the Duke. However, instead of Penelope’s body being kept away, Helios was thrown.

"Your Highness!" Jeremy ran toward Helios. "It seems that this is karma for you because you did not ask Her Highness the Empress for permission."

"Shut up!" grunted Helios. "Dammit! I couldn’t have knocked the Duchess unconscious even if it was for her own good. Duke Edmund would kill me later."

"Isn’t this an emergency situation?" asked Jeremy. "I don’t think Duke Edmund will mind this."

"Still, I won’t have the heart to hit her either!" Helios unintentionally glanced at Isabella and the twins’ baby cart. "Ah! The Twins! The twins have that power. Purifying power!" Helios ran to Isabella and the twins and then looked at the two babies. They looked uncomfortable and were still crying. Helios smiled. "Prince Raven, Princess Ocean, I know you don’t know me. I don’t know if you can understand what I’m saying or not but..." Helios looked at Edmund, who was in more pain because of Penelope’s strong grip. "Your Mother is being controlled by an evil black force right now. If you don’t help purify the darkness within her, your Mother will kill your Father."

As if understanding Helios’ words, Raven and Ocean stopped crying. They raised their hands in the air and a pink light shot out. Such a big pink light. Then, the magic circle appeared above Penelope and Edmund. Now, the pink light enveloped Penelope and Edmund.

Penelope was wide-eyed. The woman released her grip on Edmund’s neck and screamed. Slowly, the black light left Penelope’s body and disappeared. Penelope’s red eyes are now back to their original color, gold. Tears streamed down Penelope’s beautiful face. After everything was back to normal, Penelope passed out and her body fell on top of Edmund’s.

"Ugh! I will definitely kill Goddess Oizys at all costs so that she can’t disturb my family’s peace anymore," grumbled Edmund. The man stroked Penelope’s back and head gently, then kissed her forehead. "And, you can turn into a very scary foe, Penelope Askary," added Edmund with a chuckle. "I’m lucky you became my wife instead of my enemy."
