Claude’s and Helios’ magic circles slowly disappeared, as did the light around Penelope and Edmund. Then, the first to wake up was Edmund Gerwyn. The man tried to catch his breath and inhale as much oxygen as he wanted. He glanced around. Isabella and Sarah cried when they saw him. Jeremy nodded with a smile and showed a relieved expression. Then, Helios and Claude opened their eyes.

"Your Highness, why are you here?" asked Edmund. He had indeed heard Helios’ voice in that fake world. However, Edmund did not expect that Helios was in his room. Edmund thought Helios was only helping Claude from the man’s palace.

Helios breathed a sigh of relief and closed his eyes again. The man was exhausted from the amount of mana he had to use to save Edmund and Penelope.

"Prince Ethan asked me to help this wizard," he pointed at Claude. Claude, who at this time, chose to get down from the chair and lay down on the floor while covering his eyes with his arms. "He said you and the Duchess were in trouble."

"Yes," nodded Edmund. The man rubbed his face with both hands. "Thank you very much for saving me and Penny, Your Highness."

"Then, let me have a one-day date with the Duchess," chuckled Helios. "You’ll allow it for me, won’t you?"

Edmund smiled at Jeremy. "Sir Jeremy, may I kick your master?"

Jeremy could only take a deep breath and apologize to the Duke. Then, Edmund turned his head to Penelope and stroked her hair and cheek gently. The man smiled and kissed Penelope’s forehead lovingly.

"Penny, open your eyes. We’re back to our mansion. Raven and Ocean miss you, Honey," said Edmund, glancing at the twins’ baby cart.

After Edmund said that, Penelope’s body began to move slowly. Then Penelope’s eyelids began to open and those golden eyes that were very beautiful looked straight into Edmund’s blue eyes. Penelope returned Edmund’s gentle smile and started to get up from her lying position. Seeing that, Edmund immediately helped Penelope.

"Welcome back, Penny," said Edmund. "How do you feel? Are you okay?" Edmund cleaned the bloodstain that was at the corner of Penelope’s lips. "I thought we would only get hurt in that fake world when Goddess Oizys attacks us. Apparently, we can also get and feel those wounds here, in the real world."

"You are more injured than I am, Ed. I’m fine." Penelope calmed her husband. She glanced at the stroller and asked Sarah to bring the twins to her. When Raven and Ocean were in her arms, Penelope immediately kissed them as much as she wanted. Penelope was crying. Longing filled her chest. "Raven, Ocean, I’m sorry for leaving you and making you worry."

"By the way, what happened?" asked Edmund. "Why is it so noisy in my mansion?"

"Ah!" Isabella immediately reported what happened to the Duke and Duchess. "That man... that jerk came here to kidnap the twins!"

"What?!" hissed Edmund and Penelope. Edmund got off the bed and stood in front of Isabella.

"I had this vision suddenly," Isabella explained. She looked at Edmund and Penelope in turn. "Philleo Aaron has come to get Raven and Ocean. I don’t know what the reason is. But, he came together with people we don’t know. Ethan is off to check on the situation and also to fight Philleo."

"My older brother?!" Penelope shouted involuntarily. Her scream startled Raven and Ocean so much that the twins hiccuped. Then, the twins began to move restlessly and cry. Seeing that, Penelope immediately tried to calm her two children. "Shh... calm down, Raven, Ocean. I’m sorry for startling you."

"That man really has a death wish," Edmund growled.

"I told Ethan to wait a little longer, but—"

Suddenly, Isabella stopped talking. The woman gasped and fell to her knees. Seeing that, Penelope widened her eyes and called Isabella’s name. She asked Sarah to take over Raven and Ocean, then Penelope knelt before Isabella. The woman’s body trembled violently and the tears started to roll down her face.

"Isabel, what’s wrong with you? Are you sick? Why are you crying?" Penelope asked. She wiped the tears on Isabella’s cheeks. Then, Isabella immediately stood up and clenched her fists. Her reaction made Penelope confused and frowned. "Isabel?"

"I saw it again."

"What?" Penelope stood up and approached Edmund. "What do you mean?"

"That vision is back in my head," he said in a trembling voice. Her eyes fell on Penelope. "Ethan...he will be seriously injured because of that man’s magic."

Hearing that, Penelope froze. She shook her head and covered her mouth with both hands. "Impossible."

"Ethan will... die..." Isabella shook her head in panic. "No! I’m not going to let Ethan just die! I love him. Even though my Father won’t allow me to have a relationship with Ethan, I will never let Ethan get hurt or die!"

Isabella immediately ran out of Edmund and Penelope’s room.

"Isabel?! Where are you going?! That is dangerous!" Penelope shouted frantically. "Isabella Lysander!"

Helios immediately kicked Jeremy’s leg, making Jeremy hiss in pain and rubbing his leg.

"Why are you still here? Hurry, chase after Lady Isabella and protect her!" grunted Helios. Jeremy immediately took a deep breath and carried out his master’s orders.

"I’ll go after her too," said Edmund. He hugged Penelope and kissed her on the forehead. The Duke smiled. "Calm down. I’m not going to let Ethan and Isabella get hurt. I know how important they both are to you, Penny."

However, Edmund’s words were not proven.

Ethan Askary is indeed safe. However, that was because Isabella Lysander sacrificed herself to save the man she loved.

"Ethan, are you all right?" asked Edmund when he was in front of Ethan.

The Duke regretted that he was too late to get in Isabella’s way. He could see Isabella unconscious on Ethan’s lap. The woman is injured. Meanwhile, Jeremy stood behind Edmund and Ethan while watching Philleo Aaron.

"Shameless woman!" shouted Phileo. "I’m glad I can finally make her helpless like that! She has made my Penelope cry and sad in the past. I should have killed her from the start!"

Ethan was silent. However, he moved Isabella’s body onto Edmund’s lap. Seeing Ethan’s strange behavior, Edmund looked at his brother-in-law and froze. Ethan, who had stood up, now looked very different. The expression on his face was so cold. His red eyes were sharp and merciless. That killing aura surrounded Ethan, making Edmund swallow hard.

"Ethan, calm down. Isabella is fine," said Edmund in a strained tone. He tries to make Ethan awake. "Ethan, this isn’t you. You’re not this scary man. What if Penny saw you? You’re going to make her sad, Ethan."

But, Ethan paid no heed to Edmund’s words. The man advanced toward Philleo, who smirked mockingly.

"What is this, Ethan? You look so angry just because that woman got hurt saving you! Hey, are you in love with that bitch? The woman who once seduced Edmund Gerwyn and wanted to snatch him from your little sister’s arms?"

"Yes!" Ethan answered in a firm tone. "I fell in love with her. I really love her! And, I would never let anyone who hurt her get away with it. I will make you feel hell on earth before I send you to the real hell, Philleo Aaron," Ethan growled.

Phileo laughed. "Ha ha! You? You want to hurt me when I’ve always hurt you since earlier?" the man taunted. He waved his hand. "Ethan, I told you that you are no match for me! I’m way above you! I—"

Philleo couldn’t finish his words when his body was suddenly thrown away. His back hit the wall and fell down the stairs. The man coughed up blood and his chest was in extreme pain. He blinked, not knowing what had just happened to him.

"What’s wrong, Phil?"

The question made Philleo look up and freeze. Ethan walked down the stairs slowly. There was something different about Ethan and that made Philleo feel scared, for some reason. Philleo gulped and tried to stand up. But, when he stood up, his body was thrown back into the wall, and made him widen his eyes. Blood was coming out of his mouth again. He coughed and groaned.

Dammit! What just happened?!

"You look confused. Why? You didn’t think that I could send you flying, that I could hurt you without doing anything?" Ethan stood before Philleo and gave him a murderous look. "Philleo Aaron, don’t ever think that you’re the only one with magical powers in this world! Do you say I don’t know anything about you? Yes, you’re right. I may not know if you have such great and powerful magic power. But, do you also know that I have magic power like you? You didn’t know that, did you?"

"You—"

"That’s right, Phil," Ethan said, cutting Phileo off. The man crouched before Philleo and gripped his chin. Then, he stabs Philleo’s leg with his sword and it makes Philleo scream in pain. "I have magic power like you. My family doesn’t know about that. I purposely acted and reacted like an idiot, who doesn’t understand magic. Before this, my little sister and her husband were trapped in a fake world created by your dark magic. Are you wondering why I couldn’t save them? Because my magic power is only limited to fighting. My magic power is attack power. A special power to kill assholes like you!"

Philleo, who realized that he was cornered, immediately made a magic circle. He intended to run away from this place but Ethan did not let him. The man pointed his palm in front of Philleo’s face, making Philleo widen his eyes and subconsciously stopped chanting his magic spell.

"I told you I won’t let you off the hook, Philleo Aaron!"

Philleo Aaron was thrown back and screamed. He was thrown out of the mansion and rolled on the grass. The man’s handsome face was badly injured, as well as the rest of his limbs. He spat bloody spit aside and gasped when he realized Ethan had walked out of the mansion with slow steps. As if, the man really enjoyed every second when he hurt Philleo.

"Older brother!"

The scream made Ethan stop and turn his head around. He locked eyes with Penelope, who was trying to catch her breath. However, Ethan did not react in his usual way. He stared at Penelope as if he didn’t recognize the woman.

"Older Brother, it’s me, Penny!" Penelope shouted. "Brother, wake up! Fight the darkness in your heart, Brother!"

However, Ethan remained silent.

The man was already overcome by anger and darkness in his heart.
