Isabella Lysander bit her nails.

She was still inside the Duke and Duchess’s room to keep an eye on the two of them. Earlier, before Ethan came out of this room to face Philleo Aaron who had arrived and intended to kidnap Raven and Ocean, Crown Prince Helios Rune Abelavish came along with Jeremy and Chris. Ethan told him what he knew and Helios immediately joined Claude Sylvester to save Edmund and Penelope. Then, Ethan went into the twins’ room and told Sarah to move the twins to Edmund and Penelope’s room.

"What should I do?" muttered Isabella. The woman was pacing in front of Edmund and Penelope’s bed. Near the bed, Sarah looked after Raven and Ocean who were still sleeping in their baby stroller. Just like Isabella, Sarah also looked pale and worried. She was very panicked by this incident. "I can’t just sit back and do nothing while everyone is busy fighting."

"Lady Isabella," Jeremy called. He remained in the room to look after his master. Ethan ordered it because, in this room, no one can fight besides Jeremy. Ethan fears that Philleo will bring help to kidnap the twins while the man wreaks havoc elsewhere in the mansion. "Prince Ethan told me to keep an eye on you. You are prohibited from doing dangerous things and can only look after Prince Raven and Princess Ocean." 𝐟𝕣𝕖𝐞𝐰𝕖𝚋𝐧𝗼𝚟𝐞𝕝.𝗰𝐨𝐦

"I know," said Isabella. The woman took a deep breath and glanced at Helios. He sat beside Claude and made a magic circle on top of Claude’s magic circle. Helios’ magic circle was golden in color, making Isabella feel warm when she saw it. Maybe it was because the divine power of the Crown Prince was so extraordinary. "I know that, Sir Jeremy. But—"

It was then, they heard the sound of someone coughing. When they turned their heads around, they were wide-eyed. Edmund Gerwyn coughed up blood with his eyes still closed. Isabella covered her mouth with both hands and Jeremy immediately wiped the blood off with a white cloth that was in a basin full of water beside the bed. However, the Duke coughed up blood again, causing Sarah to approach Jeremy and grab his arm.

"Sir Jeremy, how is it? What should we do? Why did Duke Edmund suddenly vomit blood like that?"

When Jeremy was about to answer, suddenly Penelope Askary did the same thing as Edmund. The woman coughed and blood came out of her mouth so much. Isabella screamed and ran toward Penelope. She wiped the blood off Penelope’s lips with both hands. Isabella started crying because she was afraid that something bad would happen to Penelope. And now Claude Sylvester was coughing up blood too. Even though Helios was fine, Crown Prince Abelavish’s expression looked uncomfortable.

"Lady Isabella, Sarah, calm down," Jeremy said, trying to calm them down. Even though he was as worried and panicked as the two women, Jeremy knew he had to be able to control the current situation so that Isabella and Sarah wouldn’t get even more scared. "I’m sure the Duke and Duchess will be fine. We have to believe in them as well as His Highness Helios and Claude Sylvester."

Suddenly, a pink light shone from the twins’ baby cart. Automatically, Isabella, Sarah, and Jeremy looked at Raven and Ocean. The pink light then aimed at Edmund and Penelope, as well as at Helios and Claude.

"What’s this...?" asked Jeremy in a confused tone. "Do the Duke and Duchess’ children have any magical powers?"

"Yes," Isabella nodded. "They have healing and purification powers," said the woman again. Isabella did know about that fact from Penelope. "I’m sure Prince Raven and Princess Ocean know that the Duke and Duchess need their help."

Meanwhile, in a dream world created by Goddess Oizys, Edmund and Penelope are trying to fight this evil woman.

Several times Edmund would be thrown and his back would hit something hard so he would cough up blood. Likewise with Penelope. However, the Duke and Duchess never gave up. They are trying to fight the evil power of Goddess Oizys. Edmund with the power that is in his sword and Penelope with her healing and purifying powers. What confused Penelope was that the power she had, which should have been used to save other people’s lives, could now become an attack power.

"Duke Edmund, Duchess Penelope, can you two hear me?"

The voice made Edmund and Penelope freeze. They looked up, staring at the golden light that had been following them since earlier. Now, the gold, green, and red lights were joined by the pink light that had suddenly appeared. A pink light that felt very warm and familiar. The pink light shows Raven and Ocean’s images on Penelope’s and Edmund’s heads. The Duke and Duchess looked at each other and smiled.

The children they love and are proud of. Penelope and Edmund joined hands and stood up. They need to be strong to get back to Raven and Ocean.

"Duke, Duchess, I cannot help this wizard any longer," said the voice. They recognized the voice as that of Helios. "You guys can feel my mana, can’t you? You can see that golden light, can’t you? Step into that light and you will return to the real world!"

"I understand!" shouted Edmund. He nodded at Penelope. "Penny, let’s finish this."

"Of course."

"Did you think I would just let you guys get away from this place?!" shouted Goddess Oizys. The woman opened her palm and black light shot out from it. "I will imprison you two here forever!"

Edmund immediately pointed his sword and jerked the black light away so that it was thrown in another direction. The Duke immediately embraced Penelope’s petite body as the black light made an explosive sound and flames shot out from it.

"And, I’m not going to let you keep me and Ed in this fake world, Goddess Oizys!" Penelope exclaimed. The woman chanted the magic spell that suddenly appeared in her head. She seemed to hear a whisper from a woman. Such a soft whisper. And Penelope knew that the soft voice belonged to Goddess Elleia. Then, Penelope opened her palms and a magic circle appeared on them. After that, pink and white light appeared from Penelope’s hands and hit Goddess Oizys.

"Arrgh!" Goddess Oizys shouted. The woman was thrown and coughed up blood. Her eyes widened. Then, she gave Penelope and Edmund a murderous look. "Penelope Askary! I will make you suffer by hurting the people you love! I will kill you!"

"Go ahead, I’m not afraid and I don’t care for the threat that you said to me," Penelope said in a firm tone. She pointed at Goddess Oizys’ face and gripped her husband’s hand tightly. "I will make sure you lose and don’t bother the humans anymore, Goddess Oizys!"

"Nonsense!" Goddess Oizys laughed mockingly. "Enjoy your present bliss, Penelope. Because it won’t be long before I begin my plan to destroy the empire of De Louis. I will use Philleo Aaron, Sebastian De Louis, and everyone else I can manipulate to destroy the De Louis empire! Then, in the end, I will use you as the final boss and you will die at the hands of your own husband," Goddess Oizys looked at Edmund. "You are a weak man, Edmund Gerwyn! I will use that weakness of yours to control you, Edmund Gerwyn!"

"I’m not weak enough for you to control me like that, Goddess Oizys! Penelope and I will prove to you that humans are not weak creatures. That we have a power called love. And, the power of love between me and Penelope will defeat you!"

Edmund raised his sword and the blue and purple light started to surround the sword. Then, the Duke pointed his sword at the Goddess Oizys, causing the Goddess to widen her eyes and immediately cast barrier magic to protect herself.

"Stop! I will not let you leave this place!"

However, Edmund and Penelope paid no heed to the screams of Goddess Oizys. Hand in hand, the Duke and Duchess walked toward the golden light that was in front of them.

"No matter how hard you try, you can’t beat me, Ethan! I’m better than you when it comes to swords!"

Ethan, who was coughing up blood and was trying to get up, looked at Philleo with a sharp gaze. Philleo laughed mockingly at him. Even though he didn’t want to admit it, Ethan knew what Philleo said was true. Ethan stood up and spit blood from his mouth to the side. He pointed his sword at Philleo. Even though his whole body screamed in pain, Ethan didn’t care.

"I’m going to beat you, Phil," Ethan growled. "It doesn’t matter if my body is hurt, bleeding, or even unable to move anymore, I will defeat you and kill you!"

"You really are a very bad friend, Ethan," said Philleo. The man clicked his tongue and shook his head. "You should have chosen me to be the partner of your little sister! You know me way better than that bastard Duke! You know I can protect Penelope just fine! You should have allowed me to be your little sister’s husband!"

"Shut your mouth, Philleo Aaron!" Ethan shouted back. His face was red with anger. "Perhaps at first, I disapproved of seeing my little sister marry the cruelest Duke like Edmund Gerwyn. But now, I’m grateful I allowed them to marry. I am grateful that Penelope has a husband, who loves her so much and is willing to sacrifice his life to protect her! And, I’m grateful that I was able to immediately know your true nature, which is very crazy. I won’t let my little sister get close to a crazy man like you!"

"Too bad," said Philleo, looking at Ethan with a flat look. "I am very happy to be your friend. But, it looks like I have to kill my own best friend. If you don’t want to give Penelope to me then you have to disappear from this world because you have the potential to keep me away from my Penelope!"

When Philleo used his magic on Ethan, the man widened his eyes. He didn’t have time to avoid the magic because he sprained his leg and it was quite difficult to move. Then, suddenly his body was pushed sideways until Ethan hit the wall. He heard a scream of pain and turned his head around. Then, his red eyes widened and his body froze.

"Isabel...?" called Ethan in a choked tone.

In front of him, Isabella Lysander lay helpless with her eyes closed and blood coming from her nose and mouth. The woman had just sacrificed her life to protect Ethan Askary.
