Jonathan finished the extraction of the essence stone. He didn’t bother to extract any skill from the taskforce because he didn’t see any worth one when he was fighting them.

The martial artist ability users in the taskforce were all having E ranked skill. Only one of them had a D ranked skill and Jonathan didn’t see it valuable enough to extracted.

He debated on it for a few seconds before Jonathan decided to extract the skill.

He decided to extract the skill because he discovered that the skill might be a tricky one. He didn’t give the Martial artist to perform the skill earlier, so he didn’t how deadly the skill was, and meanwhile, it could be useful in his hands.

Jonathan stared at the rune stone for a while before he dropped it on the system storage. He didn’t plan to absorbed the skill. If he does that he would have to create time to progress on the skill, and time wasn’t something that was fully available to him, despite his superior edge over everyone on it.

The war merely hours away or a day, he didn’t want to waste his time on a D ranked skill when he had a C ranked skill he needed to work on. He wants to carry his spinning kick to the maximum level before the war, so progress on a new skill was a no no to him.

This was one of the reasons he wasn’t bothered about the E ranked skills as well, they definitely be of no use to him, especially when he would be going after the one star General, William Fisher.

Since his most strongest skill was his spinning kick, He decided it would be better for him to only focus on it during the little time he had left. If he could take beyond maximum level and even beyond the plus signs it would really be good for him.

Jonathan swiped the system storage message away. Since he didn’t have the time to progress on low skill, he plans to give the D ranked skill away to any martial artist he sees, that way he would have 100X progression on it. Which was excellent.

He could’ve taken the E ranked skill as well and do the same thing for them, but he didn’t want his storage to be occupied with E ranked skill. The only thing he wanted to store in the system storage was D ranked skill upwards.

Jonathan looked around for awhile before stepping out the room again. If Evan and his team were to come at this point, he would be able to fabricate everything on the Summoner. No way Evan would believe that Jonah and his team were working for Alphacrest. Lying would be the only way out here without causing people to raise an eyebrow, an infact, he would definitely be punished if he was to expose the truth.

As he stepped out of the room. He was pondering whether he should convert one of his yellow essence stone to a green one.

Right now, he currently had five yellow essence stone and five green essence stone.

He needed ten green essence stone to create a skill, and the same was for the yellow essence stone. He also needed ten of it in order to create something.

He was still lost in thoughts when he heard footsteps sounds. Jonathan gaze forward and somebody head was thrown at him. The head of the person landed close to Jonathan and it slowly rolled to Jonathan feet.

It was head of the Summoner that Jonathan had just kill.

Jonathan eyes widen a little when he saw the head of the summoner in front of him. Just then somebody spoke out.

"I am amazed that you were able to kill Tyler. He might’ve been the weakest in my squad, he did have a strong zeal to serve his country."

Jonathan gaze forward and he saw five people were standing some distance away from him. They were dressed in a red color combat uniform that was designed with large vertical lines.

At the right chest of the uniform was badge that was different from the regular badge of Alphacrest. It had a roaring lion head, with some words written beneath the lion head.

Jonathan eyebrows slowly pushed down to his eyes. It seemed the commander the Summoner was talking about had arrived and he was all alone. He could feel it and without a doubt, these men were a different scale compared to Jonah and his men.

Regardless of that insight, Jonathan responded casually to the commander.

"Just like he has the zeal to fight for his country, I also have the zeal to defend mine. Alphacrest made a terrible mistake starting a war with Dreamway and they are going to regret it soon or later."

The commander, Jake Joe couldn’t help but smile brightly at Jonathan words.

"I don’t know what you mean by your words, but this war has already been concluded already. In a matter of days, the results would be out and Dreamway would be under Alphacrest Regime."

Jake looked directly into Jonathan eyes.

"You truly have a strong zeal for your country. I could see that you are not afraid and you are not even thinking of running away.

I am admire soldiers like you, but, your country is already in a ruined state. You are fighting a lost war, don’t waste your time and energy anymore."

Jonathan expression darkened a little. He remembered his previous life and the cruel treatment he received as a soldier was so unbearable, not to talk about the fellow citizens.

Alphacrest were some bunch of barbarian from the wild, and ruled Dreamway with an iron fist.

With all the pains the citizens were facing, the so called leaders of the coin were busy flexing their new authoritative position.

The thought of that caused Jonathan to balled his hands into a fist.

"Yeah. I understand what you are talking about. I already knew that Dreamway have been sold to Alphacrest by our corrupt leaders, and I am tired of saying it every time."

Jonathan returned the deadly look back to Jake.

"I know everything. I know it all, and it’s not going to happen again."

Jake was surprised by Jonathan words, but he didn’t thought about it for long because he quickly realized that Jonathan had killed his own country taskforce team, meaning Jonathan must know one or two now.

Jake took one step away from his team.

"I was thinking of proposing a deal or letting you go. It’s rare to see a Dreamway soldier that could match up to the strength of an Alphacrest soldier, so I was thinking these two things, but you know too much already, and I am afraid those two ideas I was having would no longer work."

Jake stopped in front of his team. His body started releasing a grey form of energy. Jonathan could tell that Jake was about to release a strong C ranked skill and most importantly, Jake was at the six stage of his magical path.

A six stage Summoner.

Jonathan expression darkened completely, not letting nthe situation get to his skin.

"There was no need having those thoughts in the first place. I was on me to decide if I would let you guys walk away, or if I would kill all of you, and I choose the first."

Jake couldn’t help but smile brightly at Jonathan words.

"You speak very proudly and I like that, but let’s see if you can leave you to your words."

With that Jake emits more Grey energy and he muttered.

"White Snake: Level 5"

The moment Jake said the words. The floor around him experience a little vibrated and a giant white snake immediately formed behind him at once.

The moment the white snake formed behind Jake. Jake snapped his fingers and the white snake disappeared at once.

The motion stunned Jonathan to the bone. Before he could comprehend the motion, the white snake behind him.

Jonathan eyes widen more. He couldn’t believe the incredible movement of the snake. It was just too fast for him. There was no way he would be able to turn his back to attack the snake, he needed to reinforce his body quickly and try to withstand whatever attack he would be receiving.

Just as Jonathan thought of reinforcing his body, the snake wrapped him out once and was about to squeeze him immediately, but at that moment, a loud firing sound was heard.

BANG!

The white snake was immediately struck by large fireball, causing the snake to free Jonathan. Just as it did, it was immediately immobilized by the ground.

Before the snake could even resist the earth defense, Somebody leap in the air and delivered a powerful blow on the snake forehead.

The impact caused the snake head to shatter to pieces at once, and just like that, the white snake dissipated into nothing.

Evan slowly landed perfectly in front of Jonathan.

"He is not alone."

He said as he looked directly into Jake eyes.
