The place became noisy when the bald headed man said those words. Jonathan’s eyebrows raised a little. He was surprised that the highest a magical boosting item could do was actually 3X progression rate, so he was practically 7X ahead of people using magical boosting items.
Jonathan cheeks slowly raised to his eyes. With every passing day, he was starting to see the usefulness of the system.
The bald headed man walked to the table and picked up the two bronze medals.
"The top performances of the day would be getting the bronze medals which would increase your progression to 0.3X.
Today, we will be giving out two of these medals because Hillary Kingston and Jonathan Hayes got the same points according to our final conclusion."
The man dropped the bronze medals back and stepped back to the middle of the stage.
"Those that awakened special abilities would get to keep their magical boosting item, but as for the top performance, you only get to use it for a single day. The next day you will have to perform extremely well to redeem the item again, and before I forget, Hillary Kingston would be getting the gold boosting item just like those that awakened special abilities because she is top of the class.
Being at the fourth stage of her magical path makes her top of the class, if any of you ever passes her on that, the benefits would be transferred to you."
With that, people that awakened the element abilities and the summoning ability were called to the stage to receive their magical boosting items. It turned out that Luke was the only person that awakened the summoning abilities, his entrance to receive his magical boosting item was followed with the crowds clapping.
Everyone wanted to be on his good side so he would protect them during the war.
Jonathan, who had already experienced what it felt like couldn’t help but feel disappointed by those that were clapping for Luke. He doubts if Luke would be able to protect himself let alone protect others, well, when the time comes those that are clapping would learn the hard way.
"Hillary Kingston."
The bald headed man called. Hillary walked to the stage to collect her gold magical boosting item.
Magical boosting items when put on connect to the energy core of the ability user, the energy core only accepts one connection so putting on two magical boosting items was useless, the energy core would only get connected to one.
For this, the bronze medal was useless to Hillary. Although it was useless, she didn’t want to give anybody the privilege of having it. Not that she was wicked, she just doesn’t want to lose to anyone.
When she received the medal. She walked away to exit the hall. There was no other important thing left to do so there was no need to stay.
When Hillary left the stage, Jonathan’s name was called up next.
"Jonathan Hayes!"
The bald headed man shouted Jonathan’s name loudly. Jonathan approached the stage, some people had a little sense of disdain in their faces, especially the special abilities users.
Jonathan could see the disdain looks on their faces, and he couldn’t help but laugh in his mind.
’These people should be worried about the war that is coming, instead of hating their comrades. If only they knew their country was going to betray them on the battlefield, they would have channeled their energy in crying now’
Jonathan climbed the stage to receive the medal.
"You did well, kid."
The bald headed man tapped Jonathan on his shoulder before handing him the bronze medal. Jonathan eyebrows raised a little when he sensed that the bald headed man was at the fifth stage of his magical path. It seemed the bald headed man was showing him, and the only way was probably through contact.
Jonathan cheeks moved seeing the instructor had taken a liking to him, well that was because he was a martial artist just like him.
"Keep going on, if you want to climb up the stages quickly." 𝓯𝓻𝓮𝙚𝙬𝓮𝙗𝒏𝙤𝒗𝙚𝙡.𝒄𝒐𝓶
The bald headed man said as he removed his hands from Jonathan’s shoulder.
Jonathan saluted the man right away.
"Yes Sir."
The man had a little smile as he handed the bronze medal to Jonathan. Jonathan received the medal with both hands as an honor to the bald headed man for showing him his progression on his magical path.
Just as Jonathan received the bronze medal, a system message popped up in front of him.

Jonathan’s eyes burst open in shock when he saw the system message. He totally forgot this feature was available to him too, he thought it would only improve uniforms and weapons, but it seemed it works on everything.
That was what God stated anyway.
Jonathan’s lips slowly formed a half smile. He gave the bald headed man a small nod before going back to the lower floor.
"You may all go back to your various rooms. By 9pm, you should be at the spiritual grounds so your instructor there would teach you how to enter your magical path and all the basic tricks you could do to climb up the stages quickly."
There was a joyful scream when the bald headed man said that. With that everyone turned to face the exit direction. Jonathan also turned to face the exit direction but his front view was blocked by Luke, Cater and Julian. Luke’s eyes were deadly as he stared at Jonathan. He smiled brightly at Jonathan.
"You have to work so hard to get a magical boosting item, unlike us, we don’t have to do anything and we were even given a better one than you, doesn’t that mean that the military sees us as a better soldier than you."
Jonathan couldn’t believe these three were still thinking about him, well, he had no time to exchange words with them.
"Why bother telling me or do you feel unworthy of it."
Luke’s facial expression instantly became ugly when he heard that, before he could think of saying anything, Jonathan walked past him.
Luke screamed out seeing Jonathan was walking away.
"Run away loser! I awakened the Summoning ability and that means I am better than you. You better try to be friends with me otherwise I wouldn’t save your ass on the battlefield."
