Seeing Jonathan had taken his standing point. The bald headed man decided to continue on the stage.

"Some of you, if not many of you, haven’t entered the first stage of your magical path yet, and there is a war coming."

He looked at the faces of many people before continuing.

"We all know what the magical path means. You were all taught in school, but the school didn’t go deep because not everyone would be lucky enough to have the potential of being an ability user.

Everyone here has already awakened their abilities so I will be touching the places that your school didn’t bother to tell you.

As you climb the endless stairway of the magical path. Your body would slowly be absorbing the limitless energy in the surrounding. That energy expands your energy core. The more your energy core expands, the more your body becomes stronger and the more energy you will be able to produce to unleash your respective abilities."

The bald headed man placed his hands on his back as he continued. 𝓯𝙧𝙚𝒆𝙬𝙚𝒃𝙣𝙤𝒗𝓮𝓵.𝙘𝙤𝙢

"Apart from making your body stronger and giving you more leverage to use your ability for a long time. The energy your body absorbs is also used to develop your skills.

The fastest way to develop your skills is by training in the magical training ground, however be warned, once you exhaust all the energy inside your energy core, you should wait to recover your energy back, don’t just rush back to the magical path, otherwise you will shatter to pieces.

The reason why you would shatter to pieces is because you have reached a point in the magical path were you must have energy to proceed, if you don’t have, you will explode in a matter of seconds, so no matter what, you must wait for your energy core to reproduce energy again, before going back to the magical path, and that usually takes a day.

It doesn’t matter the size of your energy core. To get your full energy back, you will have to wait for a day, well, you don’t have to get your whole energy back before you go back to the magical path.

You can do it once you have recovered a little bit of it, but mind you, it would be harder for you to progress with a little amount of energy.

The more energy you have the easier it becomes for you to continue, and that is why magical boosting items are very important."

With the mention of magical boosting items, the place became noisy. Jonathan’s full attention was on what the bald headed man was saying. He finally understood why he almost got torn to pieces when he went back to the magical path.

The only thing he didn’t catch was the one day recovery time. According to the system, his recovery time was twenty-four minutes.

Jonathan cheeks moved when he thought about that, that greatly separated him from everyone.

While everyone had to wait for one day to recover their energy fully, he just needed to wait for at least twenty-four minutes to recover his full energy, and that means he would be able to recover his full energy ten times in a day.

Jonathan cheeks slowly rose to his eyes the more he thought of how greatly separated he was from everyone.

Putting that aside, he had gained a new understanding on how the magical path works, with the little explanation the bald headed man just gave on stage.

He thought his body was absorbing the energy in the surroundings, but it seemed that wasn’t the case. Although his body was taking in the energy. It wasn’t stagnant in his body. It was being used by his body to upgrade his energy core.

His energy core was the one taking advantage of the energy around the magical path, and it was using it to expand.

The more his energy core expands, the more energy it would be able to produce and that in turns makes him more powerful.

Jonathan was surprised by the understanding he was able to obtain with the little information the bald headed man gave on stage. It seemed his 10X progression doesn’t only work on his powers up but his knowledge as well.

"That is enough!"

The bald headed man voiced out on stage. The noise died down and everyone raised their head to look at him.

Seeing he got everyone’s attention back. He cleared his throat once and continued.

"Magical boosting items are very limited which makes them very expensive. The military would only channel their resources to the top performances, and of course, the special ability users such as the mages and the Summoner would get a first hand of all the resources the military have to offer for the new recruitments."

Big smile could be seen on some of the mages and Summoners faces. They raised their shoulders like they were some mighty kings.

The bald headed man searched through the crowds as he continued.

"Speaking about top performances, we already have one person that would be getting the same special treatment of the mages and the Summoners.

Hillary Kingston."

As the bald headed man mentioned the name, somebody stepped out of the line and approached the stage.

Everyone was dumbfounded when they heard the Kingston family name. They didn’t know somebody of noble blood was with them, however something was wrong.

Everyone knew that the Kingston family were families of mages. They only awakened the element ability, how then was this person excluded from the special treatment, unless the person awakened a different ability from the family ability, which was impossible.

They have never heard something like that before.

Everyone’s attention moved to the female figure that was seen approaching the stage. They were shocked to see the girl was holding a sword, indicating she awakened the Swordsmanship ability.

"How could somebody from the Kingston family awaken the Swordsmanship ability."

"This is impossible."

"This is ridiculous!"

Hillary didn’t put her concentration on the words she was hearing from the crowds. She reached the bald headed man and saluted resoundingly.

"Hillary Kingston at your service. Sir!"

The bald headed man gave Hillary a small nod before facing the crowd once more.

"Hillary awakened the swordsmanship ability but she would be given the same privileges like the mages and the Summoners because of her high performance already.

She is a role model that you all must emulate, especially those that want to claim the title of being the top performance.

There could only be one top performance so you know what that means, you will have to work your butts off to become the number one ability users among everyone here!"

Nobody paid attention to what the bald headed man had just said, instead they were still debating the origin of Hillary who was on stage.

"I bet she doesn’t come from the Kingston family that we know, perhaps she is just answering the name.

The word is a big place, there are thousands of people answering the Kingston family name but that doesn’t make them part of the Kingston family."

Luke made his suggestion loud, and everyone slowly nodded agreeing to his words.

"You are right, Sir Luke. There is no way she is from the Kingston family."

"Her ability is swordsmanship, that alone clarifies that she is not from the Kingston family."

"She is definitely a stranger answering the Kingston family name. What a joke, if I were the one, I would ask my family to change my name so I don’t end up disgracing myself."

Other people added to Luke’s words. Luke felt the superiority of being a Summoner. It was lovely and he couldn’t wait to get started, to see what he would be capable of doing.

Hearing the nonsense the crowds were saying, the bald headed man wanted to scream out to get their attention back, but Hillary simply drew her sword out and a massive burst of wind followed the movement.

The motion caught everyone’s attention back at once. They all stared at Hillary, with horrified faces. They couldn’t believe the aura that was coming out from a swordsmanship ability user.

Seeing she had caught everyone’s attention, Hillary slowly placed her katana back in her scabbard.

She cleared her throat twice before her eyes suddenly became deadly as she glared at the crowds in front of her.

Her voice was audible and ground shaking.

"I am Hillary Kingston from the Kingston family you all know. I awakened the Swordsmanship ability, but I am going to be receiving the same treatment as those of you that awakened the element ability and the Summoning ability."

Hillary’s words caused all the people that awakened the element ability and the Summoning ability faces to darkened, but her next words caused them to quiver uncontrollably.

"If you think this is unfair and only those that have awakened special ability should enjoy the special privilege the military had arranged for the new recruitment, then work your ass up to defeat me as the top performancer.

If any special ability users can out work me, then I will no longer be able to receive the special privilege and that means only those that awakened the special ability would enjoy the special privilege just like it should have been, but before you think of out working me, here are some two things you must know."

Hillary’s eyes became red and the air in the room suddenly became denser than before.

She raised one of her fingers as she continued.

"Number one.

You have to be ready to peed blood and shit blood as well, and number two which is the last.

I am at the fourth stage of my magical path."
