Reincarnated as the Only Human-Chapter 1233: Long Time No See
Humming beside Renna, I enjoyed the bustling of the city for a little while longer before we found ourselves back where we had first met Selkis; after ’much’ deliberation, I had convinced Renna that there was no better place to practice than the place where we had gotten this outfit from.
It was currently adorning my body and hugging my curves rather snugly, though no one knew that I was wearing it since I had a cloak draped over my shoulders that covered me most of the time; when I had asked Renna if she wanted me to carry it with us or wear it there, she had almost immediately told me to wear it.
The effects it had on her and on those back home had been rather... abundant, since everyone couldn’t take their eyes off of me and were determined to push me down and breed me, so of course I told them that nothing could happen just yet and enjoyed watching them groan and grumble about it, all stiff and yearning for me to change my mind.
Of course I had no intention of changing my mind upon seeing their reactions, and knowing that the moment I returned I was going to be subject to rather aggressive and aggrieved breeding made me really~ excited for later~!
For now though I was more focused on the present, which was one spent being reunited with someone I hadn’t seen in such~ a long time... like, a week or so, if I was remembering correctly...
Time was both flying by and dragging along with everything that was happening, so honestly... I couldn’t really be blamed for not knowing when it was that I had last seen Selkis, nor about when I was going to potentially see her again.
What I was certain about though was that the excitement she showed upon seeing us was rather mutual, and without any hesitation Renna and I went into the tent to have some privacy with the merchant from the Susahana to discuss what she could do for us.
The black skinned futanari immediately uncorked a fancy clay pot and ladled out cups of wine for us, gesturing towards it with a grin as she said "Aged Sun Blood Wine, a staple from my homeland! I hope you enjoy it as much as we do."
Selkis tapped her fist against her heart twice before lowering it, leaving it in the air between us for a moment as she said something that I didn’t recognize, though when I saw Renna repeat the gesture as well as the word "Nabidhama", I tried it myself... though it certainly didn’t roll off the tongue that easily.
Chuckling, Selkis took a sip from the wine first before saying "Na beev ama. It is a simple toast that we use with those not from the Susahana; it’s the name of ’our’ Goddess of Wine, and relatively simply to pronounce."
I took a sip too, blinking in surprise as the liquid somehow sapped up the moisture on my tongue as it slid down my gullet; it burned and left behind a sweet aftertaste that was really pleasant, though that dryness was certainly... unique.
"Is it something that tends to... offend you if someone doesn’t say it back, or is it just habit?"
"Even making the attempt to toast with us is enough, be it our way or your own. What would be rude would be to ignore it completely and do nothing in reply. Especially if you took our wine yet don’t at least acknowledge the one who showed us how to make it."
Nodding, I took another sip and marveled at its uniqueness for a few moments more before I set the cup down and looked at Selkis, who had just drained her cup and was ladling in some more; the black skinned futanari grinned at me, her two rows of teeth shining in the dimly lit tent as she waited for me to ask another question.
Her obsidian eyes were gleaming with intrigue, and like always she seemed so... laid back, so relaxed, yet the scimitar hanging on the tent post beside her was also gleaming... and it looked recently cleaned as well.
"Selkis, when we visited last and we purchased all of those materials as well as that dancer’s garb off of you, was my dance anywhere near what is typical amongst your people or..?"
"Hm~? For someone to don that sort of attire and dance for someone else, yes, that was typical. The motion of the hips is the most important, but what elevates it to another level is the usage of the arms and wrists to add another layer to the dance. Why~? Looking to practice~?"
Chuckling, I gently undid the clasp that was holding the cloak in place and brushed it aside, revealing the fiery garb beneath and making Selkis’ grin widen as she ran her tongue over her teeth, her eyes shining with lust now.
"Something like that..."
A glance over at Renna had the Nymph leaning forwards as she took over for me, her eyes meeting Selkis’ as she said "I’m sure you’ve heard already that a group of your Nobles are coming to visit the Queendom to discuss all sorts of terms, like they do every Spring and Autumn."
"I have indeed. As you might imagine, Duchess, I plan to stay away from them if at all possible. The relationship between the Nobility and the Merchants in the Susahana is far more ’open’ than the one here, and because of that they are quite up front with their disdain for us."
"A shame too, since it has caused such stagnation compared to the rest of the world... but anyways, the reason we came here today is that... well, to help things go a little smoother, we were hoping that Astra might just perform for the Nobles, to be a ’bridge’ of trust between us and them."
For once Selkis’ grin didn’t widen, as this time it shrank a little as she just stared at us both in silence for a moment before she just shrugged and drained her cup again, letting the liquor burn her throat without a care in the world.
"Well, as long as you understand that these people are arrogant bastards, everything should go just fine. There isn’t much to our dancing that can’t be replicated easily, but if you wish to practice... then go ahead, practice~! So long as we are clear on what my rate will be..?"
She looked between us again, though this time there was heat in her eyes as she carefully leaned back and flaunted her semi erect cock that was already straining against her pants; I was in agreement, and after a moment Renna gave a nod, allowing me to shed the cloak completely as I prepared for one hell of a ’practice’ session.
