By the time Renna returned home from her foray back into the city, quite a lot had gotten done during that time; there was the beginning of the port, obviously, but there was a lot of stone waiting to be stacked up and situated for a wall while the hole in the middle of everything was already deep enough to hide everyone in our family.

That included Rhefia, who stood somewhere in the mid sixes in terms of height yet also had those branching antlers atop her head that put her overall height somewhere in the mid sevens; even she was completely hidden when she stood in the hole, so our two eager underground denizens were making really good progress.

With the arrival of Duru things would most certainly speed up even more, while the arrival of Christina simply meant that there was a new intriguing idea I could start working on since I wasn’t entirely certain about the anatomy of a Beekin, let alone a Queen Bee.

Did they produce honey somehow like normal bees, was it just that their fluids were similar to honey, or was there some fun mix of the two that would somehow have Christina orgasming honey for us to use for whatever we saw fit?

I wanted to get to asking her immediately, but the fact that Renna returned with Leonisa as well meant that there was some more pressing matters to attend to first, and that all on its own soured my mood just a tad...

That didn’t make me happy one bit, and no matter how close Renna got to me nor how warm she felt against me that just wasn’t a feeling I could shake off that easily... though of course there were the memories of getting pounded by Leonisa together with Renna that softened those emotions somewhat.

"Astra..? Are you listening?"

Humming softly, I rubbed Renna’s thigh and turned to give her a smile as I said "Something about a delegation coming around to spread peace and positivity between nations~! Yup, I was definitely listening~!"

Renna gave me that adorable pout as she flicked my thigh to make sure I was actually listening this time, and of course because of that I focused whole heartedly on her voice... and not her tits, which jiggled as she began to enthusiastically explain the complexities of the relationship between the Susahana people and the people of Birchan.

Renna gave me a wry smile while Leonisa took a sip of her tea before saying "That is indeed correct. Obviously you would be well compensated with coin and a nice array of goods, but to further sweeten the pot and make this worth your while, Fenkar and Renna told me about what you really want."

That got my attention, and as I grinned at her Leonisa smiled back as she said "I would be willing to legitimize your desire to construct a town outside of the city walls, and I can get some strings pulled to ensure the taxes don’t start getting hiked up immediately. Does that sound adequate, Miss Astra?"

"It most certainly sounds like a start, Duchess Leonisa~! Do we know who is coming, or is that going to be a surprise for me to find out later? And is there anyone that can help me fine tune my dance skills and teach me a little about the customs of these people so that I don’t offend them?"

The Lionkin continued to enjoy her tea as she just nodded, allowing Renna to answer as she said "It’s a typical array of Nobles coming to negotiate terms in regards to many different things, but there is one amongst their number that is going to be... unique. Do you know what a Sphinx is, Astra?"

"A Spinx? Isn’t that like... a real hybrid? Top half is ’normal’, bottom half is that of a lion? Four legs, paws, fur and all that?"

"Indeed. Amongst the ruling class of Nobles in the Susahana, there is a particular Family that has thrived there for many generations. The Merneith Family is a small yet immensely powerful Family that controls vast swathes of the Susahana, and the reason for their power stems from them being pure blooded Sphinxes.

Amongst the Nobles visiting there is the current Heir to the Merneith Family, traveling abroad to enrich her understanding of everything and better help her Family understand if she is worthy of the mantle that comes with being the Merneith Matriarch. I gave Leonisa a grin as I sprawled out in my chair, relaxing as I let my mind wander with these thoughts she was planting there; a Sphinx that was ruthless and dangerous, coming straight towards me...
