Reincarnated as a Fat Bastard in an Eroge Game-Chapter 29: Problematic
"Ugh."
With a pained groan, I found myself starting awake. The world was a hazy blur at first, but with time, the details began to sharpen. Above me was a vast white ceiling, beautifully carved and adorned with a massive golden chandelier.
This was clearly not my dorm room.
I tried to sit up, but the slightest twitch of my muscles sent a jolt of unbelievable pain through my system.
"You’re awake."
I looked down to see a curtain of purple hair partially obscuring a face.
"Professor," I muttered.
She pushed her hair back to reveal her features, and in that instant, the memories of last night returned in full force. I groaned again as she reached out, her hand gently grasping my member.
"Professor? Hmm. I knew something had happened to you, but this confirms it," she whispered. She tightened her grip slightly, and I gasped in pure agony.
"Argh!"
Why did a simple touch feel like a hot iron? "What’s this? What did you do to me?" I grunted.
She tilted her head. "Me? I didn’t do anything to you. In fact, you did this to yourself."
I frowned in confusion. "I did this?"
She nodded slowly. "As I said last night, what I fed you was just a little payback. It is a drug that pushes a person’s sexual capabilities to their absolute maximum. But it has a downside: it puts an extreme strain on the body that the user won’t feel until the effects wear off. Basically, you forced your body to the point it no longer functions due to extreme exhaustion."
I frowned deeply. So, I had worn my muscles out to the point of collapse. I had gone all out last night—I had practically used her like a toy in my quest for release. I had even gone beyond the bed, attempting questionable positions even when she seemed to have fallen unconscious. I couldn’t even remember when I finally fell asleep. Maybe it was when I had her pinned against the bare floor, or when I was holding her up by the table... or that time I slammed her against the door.
Tsk. It made sense now. I couldn’t even imagine where the energy to last through the night had come from. That lunatic... she had basically crippled me with that drug.
"How then am I supposed to write the exams?" I seethed.
She gave me a sultry smile and placed a finger over my lips. "Don’t worry about that. You already did your part of the deal; it’s only natural I fulfill mine."
I felt tiny sparks of electricity run through my body as she touched my abdomen.
"Ugh," I groaned, my body reacting despite the pain. "Stop!"
"Alright, let’s cut to the chase," she said, her expression hardening. "Tell me exactly what happened to you and why you seem different."
An ungodly surge of pain ripped through me as she clenched her hand even harder.
"Argh! You already guessed it! Why are you even asking?"
She frowned. "So, you really did lose your memory." She finally stopped her assault.
"Haah... haah..." I panted, feeling the aftershocks of the pain.
"When did this happen?" she asked.
"I don’t know. It just happened," I grunted.
She nodded to herself. "Now it makes sense why you would need my help for such things." She pursed her lips in deep thought. "Do you know why I asked you to sleep with me?"
I frowned. "...No. Why?"
"You don’t even remember that," she muttered.
With great effort, I moved my hand and gripped her wrist. "Does it... does it have something to do with those moments your eyes glowed?"
She looked into my eyes for a long moment, then nodded. "Yes, it does. There is something about your bloodline that aids mana-core cleansing and mana-pool expansion. It even allows for a forceful advancement in rank when you get intimate."
She clenched me once more. "That’s the reason I did it. So, don’t get any funny ideas that it’s just because you’re well-endowed."
She gave me a squinted look, and I nodded slowly as a realization hit me. Is that the Angel’s aim? It was reason enough. Advancement didn’t just happen; finding something that provided both pleasure and power would be addictive. That must be why Jenny was trying so hard to jump me.
"Well then, don’t mind if I do a quick one," I heard her say. I looked up to find the professor straddling me again.
"WAIT! Please, you can’t! Are you trying to kill me?"
To think it would reach the point where I would be begging her to stop.
"Oh? But if I recall clearly, a certain someone completely ignored my pleas last night."
Crap.
......
"It’s legit, guys."
"Just like the last one, right?"
"Eh? Come on, are you guys still holding a grudge about that? I swear I didn’t know the guy was a fraud."
"Whatever you say."
"So, did you guys also get an invite?"
"Invite? Hold on, you mean the party?"
"What party?"
The group gave the young man a scandalous look.
"What?!"
"I don’t mean to be insulting, but do you live under a rock?"
"...Just tell me what the damn thing is about."
"Fine, fine. Aaron is throwing this huge final exam party, and only people with invites get in."
"Ugh. Isn’t that guy from Class A?"
"Yeah."
"Then there’s no way he’s giving anyone from Class B or lower an invite. That Class A is full of arrogant pricks."
"Well, you’re right about that, but you’re wrong as well."
"Huh?"
"Do I have to spell it out? It’s a no-brainer that the hot chicks from Class B through D would be getting invited."
"...Tsk. Fuck those bastards—"
"Have you guys seen Leo around today?"
Jenny had just arrived. Michael, Fre, and a few others turned to look at her.
"Leo?" Fre muttered with a frown.
"I visited his dorm this morning and he wasn’t there," Jenny said, massaging her forehead. "It’s been an hour since I finished the exams and started looking for him, but I can’t find him anywhere."
"Leo? Who’s Leo?" a young man with green hair asked. Jenny promptly ignored him.
"Did you at least ask his roommate?" Michael asked.
Jenny shook her head. "He wasn’t there either."
Both Fre and Michael stood up. "Let’s try the hall," Fre said. "Someone should have seen him. I don’t believe he’s dumb enough to skip something as important as this."
Just before they could leave, a young man with red hair and light hazel eyes shot up. "Jenny, wait!"
She tilted her head. "What do you want now?" Her eyes were dead.
The young man gave her a silly smile, rubbing the back of his neck. "Can we talk... in private?"
He glanced at the other guys, who were sending subtle looks their way.
"I’m sorry, but I can’t. I’m busy right now. Maybe next time," she said, already walking away.
"Sure..."
.
.
"Come on, Jenny. At least hear the guy out. If you keep shutting him down like that, he might just give up," Fred said, his hands behind his head. "I mean, you know he’s trying to ask you out, right?"
Jenny remained silent. Fred looked over at Michael, who gave him a weird smile.
"I already made it clear that I won’t go out with anyone," Jenny said without looking back. "Wasn’t what I did to Winston enough to get the message?"
Fred gave a strained smile. "That was last year. Do you really not want to date anyone?"
"And what about you?" Jenny countered. "Since you’re such a love guru, you should have a few girls out there dying for you."
Michael laughed, and Fred glared at him.
"Sorry, I couldn’t hold it in," Michael said.
Fred turned his gaze back to Jenny. "Then let me ask you this. Do you like Leo?"
Jenny stopped walking and finally looked at him. "What?"
"I’ve been meaning to ask that as well," Michael chimed in.
"Don’t take it the wrong way, but it’s pretty obvious at this point," Fred continued. "You don’t care about any other guy as much as you care for him. You only react when the topic is about him getting a girlfriend. Plus, look at this: he’s been gone for barely a day and you’re already hunting for him. If it was me who went missing, you probably wouldn’t be bothered for a whole week."
"I mean... it’s kind of true," Michael added.
Jenny looked at them both for a long moment. Instead of replying, she simply resumed her march. The two men shared a glance.
"Fine. Don’t answer."
.
.
"Let me guess... Leo?"
The moment the group walked into the nearly empty hall, they were met with that question.
"Kaeden," Michael said with a frown.
The young man, possessing washed-blonde hair and deep blue eyes, glanced at him. "Yes, it’s me. You don’t have to call out my name like it’s an introduction. Where’s Leo?"
Jenny stepped forward. "Where is he?"
Kaeden tilted his head. "Am I supposed to have an answer to that?"
Fred clicked his tongue. "Let’s ask someone else. This guy is an ass as always."
"I WILL TAKE THAT AS A COMPLIMENT!" Kaeden screamed as they left him behind.
"Where is everyone else?" Michael asked, looking at the empty hall.
"They must have all finished up early," Fred replied.
This hall was one of the CBT centers of the academy, specifically for Class C. Screens connected to mini-devices were lined up through countless rows.
"Wait, there’s someone over there," Fred pointed out.
The group walked toward the figure. As they got closer, the person came into view, and they all frowned.
"Adriana."
This time, it was Jenny who spoke the name.
"It’s really her," Michael muttered. "But... how? What the hell is she doing here? Shouldn’t she still be under supervision?"
Jenny’s hands clenched tightly. She began marching toward the young girl sitting in the corner of the hall.
"Wait, Jenny." Fred caught her by the shoulder.
She glared at him. "What?" 𝒻𝘳𝘦𝘦𝘸ℯ𝒷𝘯𝘰𝑣ℯ𝑙.𝘤𝑜𝘮
"Just let it go," Michael said. "It’s not like she can help us find him. Plus, we both know what will happen the moment you meet."
Jenny stayed silent for a while, then clicked her tongue. "Yeah. You’re right. Let’s go."
But just as they were about to leave, a voice rang out.
"Are you really going to go without as much as a hello?"
It was the very girl they wanted to avoid. Jenny’s fists clenched even tighter. It was clear things were not going to end well.
