"Boss! I thought you’d never come today. I’ve been worried since the autumn season is just around the corner and we have yet to finalize the collection before launching." Sunnny exclaimed once Adrienn had taken a seat in her office.
Adrienne reassured Sunny, "I apologize for the delay, but rest assured, I am fully committed to finalizing the collection on time. Let’s discuss the details and get started right away."
"But why does Mr. Qin come with you today?" Sunny couldn’t help but ask. When she heard from the staff that Lennox Qin was accompanying their boss, Sunny wondered what Adrienne was up to now.
She glanced at Lennox, who smiled at her as if their earlier conversation hadn’t happened. Adrienne was relieved but knew they would eventually have to address the issue. She knew her secret was a big deal for Lennox, and the walls she built around her stopped her from fully connecting with him.
"Mr. Qin, here is my husband. Is there any reason you don’t want him to be here?" She asked Sunny in response.
Although Sunny looked youthful, she was older than Adrienne by ten years. Sunny was homeless and unemployed when she first met Adrienne two years ago. Adrienne recruited her to join Purple Cloud, which she recently started, and since then, Sunny has been overseeing the stores for her.

"Boss, don’t you think that’s such a shameless claim? If our patrons heard what you said, they might senselessly scold you." Sunny looked at Lennox cautiously.

Sunny had heard stories of his ruthless business tactics and how he would stop at nothing to get what he wanted. She couldn’t help but feel a twinge of unease in his presence, wondering if there was any truth to the rumors.
Who hadn’t heard of Lennox Qin? His name and Adrienne’s fill the news these days. The news of Alistair Han’s proposal to Adrienne and Lennox Qin’s return to the business world had everyone talking.
People were curious to see how these two influential figures would clash because of Adrienne Jiang’s connection to both of them. Many speculated that her involvement with Lennox Qin could potentially ignite a fierce rivalry between him and Alistair Han, fueling the rumors surrounding their ruthless nature.
Sunny would have never thought her boss was acquainted on such a personal level with someone like Lennox Qin. She had always seen him as a reserved and professional individual, so seeing her arrive with Lennox Qin caught her by surprise.
Adrienne chuckled and gently rubbed her chin, allowing Sunny to see the sparkling diamond ring on her finger. It was grander than the engagement ring Lennox had given her three years ago.
Sunny stared at her boss in shock. She couldn’t believe Adrienne was married to someone as notorious as Lennox Qin. The news of their relationship explained why Adrienne had been acting so secretive lately and had refused any suitors in the past.

"Congratulations, Boss." Sunny smiled. "Do you plan to hold a ceremony with Mr. Qin soon?"
Instead of answering Sunny’s question, Adrienne directed it to her husband, who was smiling like an idiot on the couch.
"Actually, Sunny, Lennox and I have decided to keep our relationship low-key for now," Adrienne replied as she glanced at her husband. "I’m not sure about holding a ceremony, though, as we haven’t talked about it yet. I told you about our marriage because you’re working closely with me, and you will find out about it anyway, so I didn’t mind addressing the issue this early."
"Of course, Miss Lu. Addie, I expect you’ll be there to celebrate with us," Lennox interjected, his eyes filled with adoration for his wife.
"Would it be alright if I left you here for a moment?" Adrienne asked him, "I need to meet the rest of the team and finalize the details for our season collection."
Lennox nodded, still beaming at Adrienne. "Of course, my love. Take all the time you need. I’ll be right here when you get back. I also need to give Gavin a call anyway."
Adrienne nodded and headed towards the door, glancing back at Lennox one more time before stepping out. Though they were still in their honeymoon phase, she knew that she and Lennox had a lot of things to deal with.
