Chapter 307: Chapter 307: He Is Seducing Her

For convenience in bandaging, Nancy Allen didn’t continue lying down and got up to sit at the bedside, with the quilt covering her legs.

Godfery Shaw sat on a stool at the bedside, facing Nancy Allen.

After bandaging Nancy Allen’s wound and tidying up the medicine box, Godfery looked into Nancy’s eyes and said, "Alright, you can say whatever you want now, ask anything and I’ll answer."

His tone was so gentle it felt tender, as if no matter how much Nancy acted out, he wouldn’t get angry.

So gentle that it didn’t resemble the cold and distant Godfery Shaw she knew.

Nancy Allen pressed her lips together and shook her head.

She had nothing to ask; their acquaintance was not a misunderstanding, it was just that she had changed, and there was nothing much to discuss.

Should she sob and ask if Godfery Shaw really liked the kind-hearted version of her from his memory, or the now cold and ruthless her?

Seeing Nancy Allen not speaking, Godfery said with a restrained tone, "If you have nothing to ask, it’s my turn. Why did you leave that day? Was it something I said or did?"

Gone for over half a month, Godfery Shaw had to figure out what had happened.

After returning, Nancy Allen was close to him, acting coy, wanting to be his girlfriend, wanting to introduce him to her parents, everything was moving in the right direction, and Godfery didn’t allow things to be out of control.

Nancy opened her mouth, yet before she could speak, Godfery decisively said, "Write it down, don’t start talking!"

Godfery placed pen and paper into Nancy’s hand; it had been a long time since he used his assertiveness to subdue Nancy.

Under Godfery’s deep gaze, Nancy closed her mouth and wrote, "That day you were drunk and said you liked the person who saved you... I don’t remember saving you, I thought you liked me because you mistook me for someone else?"

Godfery had thought about it a lot these days, hypothesizing countless possibilities, yet never expected things to be like this.

Godfery gripped Nancy’s wrist, laughing heartily with anger, "So you just left without asking anything?"

Nancy remained silent; being mute had its advantage, when unsure of what to say, one could choose silence.

Godfery himself said it that day, how could she have dared to ask; she hadn’t expected it wasn’t a mistaken identity but rather herself failing to recognize him.

Nancy did not react, and her wrist was clutched even tighter, she slightly frowned, her expression was full of fragility, as if pinched painfully.

Godfery released his grip, feeling powerless against Nancy, even though he believed her actions were wrong, he had no solution regarding her.

Without Nancy promising anything, Godfery instead proactively explained, "My feelings for you have never been just gratitude."

Godfery felt that even though things were clarified, Nancy still wasn’t happy, perhaps thinking his feelings towards her were out of gratitude.

Nancy nodded, indicating she understood.

Indeed not just gratitude, but a fondness for her innocent kindness...

Nancy felt troubled inside, as she lightly swung her feet sitting at the bedside, her snow-white feet partly visible under the quilt.

Godfery suddenly uncovered Nancy’s quilt, revealing her swinging long legs.

Nancy was clearly surprised by Godfery’s action, looking at Godfery dumbfounded, seeing him squat down in front of her, feeling a warmth on her ankle, Godfery’s warm hands had already grasped her ankle, Nancy instinctively wanted to retract her foot.

"Don’t move, your ankle is injured too." Godfery gently squeezed Nancy’s ankle.

The various feelings in Nancy’s heart were interrupted, and suddenly she blushed.

Godfery was dressed tightly, while Nancy wore a short camisole nightgown, and here he was squatting in front of her, holding one of her ankles, his long fingers intimately squeezing her ankle, oddly carrying a teasing allure.

It wasn’t her alluring him, it was him.

He was too provocative.

Nancy’s breathing halted slightly, only feeling the warmth of his palm scorching her ankle, leaving her at a loss.

Godfery didn’t notice Nancy’s abnormality, he was truly heartless, his mind solely focused on her ankle scrapes.

The skinned wound was particularly glaring on the fair skin.

After Godfery treated Nancy’s ankle injury, he lifted his head to see Nancy blushing an apparent rosy hue.

Not only was her face red, Nancy’s entire being was blushing, her excessively fair skin making her seem pinkish, seemingly frightened by Godfery’s act, even the corners of her eyes were red, looking at him pitiably.

All of Godfery’s restraint was shattered by this scene.

He knelt on one knee and kissed her directly.

Godfery was tall, Nancy usually had to look up at him.

But now, with Nancy sitting at the bedside and Godfery kneeling on one knee before her, it felt like Nancy was leaning down to kiss him, she could clearly see his devoutness.

This devoutness made Nancy anxious; she attempted to retreat, but Godfery held the back of her head firmly.

No escape, she was swallowed by waves, dizzy and suffocating.

When Godfery finally released her, Nancy powerlessly leaned against him, her eyes already tinged red, and now even her eyes were wet, as if bullied badly, making Godfery want to bully her more.

The emotion between Godfery and Nancy had always lacked process.

From start to finish, they never indulged in many intimate acts, too mixed with other things.

Yet now this kiss was pure and burning.

Godfery directly lifted her onto his lap, huskily calling her, "Nancy." 𝒻𝘳ℯℯ𝑤ℯ𝒷𝘯ℴ𝓋ℯ𝘭.𝑐ℴ𝑚

Nancy’s heart trembled, nestling into Godfery’s embrace, unwilling to think of anything at this moment.

The small room was silent, only the two’s slightly heavy breaths entwining.

"Nancy, I’m a normal man, don’t move."

Nancy froze, the silk nightgown had slipped up to her thigh.

Before losing control, Godfery reluctantly placed Nancy back on the bed, stood up, and headed to the bathroom, "I’ll wash my hands."

Nancy heard the sound of water in the bathroom, and when Godfery came out, she noticed his bangs were damp, evidently he not only washed his hands but splashed cold water on his face, she shyly moved her gaze away, not looking anymore.

Godfery flicked his wet bangs, a droplet of water landed on Nancy’s nose tip, the droplet seemingly carrying a certain temptation, causing Nancy to unconsciously swallow.

Godfery chuckled softly, said tenderly, "Will you come back to Imperial Garden with me?"

Nancy almost responded yes, charmed, fortunately, reason returned timely, she shook her head and pointed here, indicating she lived here.

Godfery asked again, "Can I stay over?"

Nancy shook her head once more.

Godfery didn’t insist, gently ruffled Nancy’s head, told her, "You’re tired, sleep. I’ll leave after you fall asleep."

Nancy was indeed exhausted; lately, she hadn’t slept well.

Right now, Godfery’s words seemed to have magic, Nancy slowly closed her eyes and slept.

Godfery simply watched Nancy quietly, his gaze growing deeper in thought.

The misunderstanding about the mistaken identity was resolved, seemingly as if everything was fine.

However, he acutely sensed Nancy’s subtle shift in attitude towards him.

She still had things in her heart, unwilling to reveal them.
