Reborn as the Villain's Wife, I Shine in 80s-Chapter 560 - 544 Full Moon Celebration (2)
Hua Jun had previously received an invitation from Ye Binyi to attend her grandson’s full moon banquet.
The word "grandson" pricked a nerve in Hua Jun.
Yet another boy.
Hua Zifeng, sitting across from her, smirked, "Sis, just look at you with that grouchy face—must be a case of unmet desires. What, didn’t my brother-in-law take care of you? Impossible! My brother-in-law is in the army, after all."
The comment hit her like a dagger to the heart. Hua Jun glared at him venomously, wishing she had a rag to stuff in his mouth.
Hua Zifeng paused, chuckled mischievously, and added, "Sis, while you’re enjoying yourself, don’t forget about your little brother here. I’m looking for a big tree to take shade under."
Hua Jun let out a cold laugh. That tree has already borne two fruits—what’s so special about it?
Hua Zifeng dropped the teasing tone and began scrutinizing her with exaggerated seriousness. "No way... Are you seriously saying my brother-in-law didn’t satisfy you?? No wonder you’ve been acting so strange the past few days. Normally, I’d expect to see at least a bit of that feminine allure on your face."
"Shut up!" Hua Jun snapped coldly, shooting him a glare before heading upstairs.
Just moments ago, she almost asked her brother how such "issues" could be treated. But her pride held her back—she didn’t want to be a laughingstock in front of Hua Zifeng, the eternal prankster.
Personality-wise, Hua Jun was no less attractive than Tian Sangsang, so why did Ye Jiang show no reaction to her?
Inside, she was in turmoil, but her face remained composed.
As she reached her room, she bumped into her husband, who was just about to leave.
He had the day off and wasn’t heading to the precinct. His casual outfit—a black coat draped over his tall frame—gave him a cold, poised elegance. He stood upright.
The moment she saw Ye Jiang, Hua Jun’s chaotic thoughts calmed down. There was no rush—he was hers. She had time and would find a way to "fix" him.
"Ye Jiang," she cooed, slipping her arm around his, "The Jiang Family is throwing a full moon banquet later. Let’s go together; we’ve been invited."
His face remained expressionless. "What do their full moon festivities have to do with us?" he asked indifferently.
Hua Jun smiled. "It’s for the wife of the Jiang son—remember how she had that accident at our wedding? Her son just turned a month old. Honestly, I’ve been wanting to visit her for a while, especially since that mishap happened during our big day. But she was in her confinement period back then. Now that it’s over, I’d feel better seeing her."
Ye Jiang pursed his lips. "Still doesn’t concern me. You go handle it."
Hua Jun adored this detached side of him. In his eyes, Tian Sangsang and her two children barely registered as anything significant, not even ants. "I know you dislike crowded occasions. Just come along for my sake. If we both attend, it shows proper respect for their family."
He replied in a low voice, "Alright."
As they sat in the car, the hospital flashed past the window. Hua Jun suddenly froze, turning to her husband beside her. Hesitating, she bit her lip. "Ye Jiang, how about you see a doctor?"
Lowering his gaze, he replied, "Alright."
Obedient and compliant. Cold and stoic.

Outside, the Jiang Family’s car was waiting. Tian Sangsang accepted the items Zhao Chun handed her and waved him goodbye.
She let Meng Shuyan get into the car first, then climbed in with her youngest son in her arms.
Little Tangyuan was fast asleep, cradled quietly and softly in Tian Sangsang’s arms.
At just one month old, Tang Yuan’er’s face was tender and rosy. His eyebrows were faint, almost nonexistent, and his tiny eyes were tightly shut. His small nose and slightly open lips made him look peaceful and sweet as he slept.
The short baby hairs on his head were already growing in, soft and fluffy. Tian Sangsang gently covered them with her hand, feeling the delicate texture. She couldn’t help but smile bitterly, her heart melting into a puddle.
She lowered her head and kissed his little forehead. So innocent, so clueless. He had no idea where they were going or that... he didn’t have a father.
Meng Shuyan glanced over briefly before lowering his small head again.
The full moon banquet wasn’t overly extravagant—just held locally at the Jiang Family home.
"Oh, you’re here, finally," Ye Binyi beamed, her face lit with joy as she took Little Tangyuan from Tian Sangsang’s arms.
The moment her arms were empty, Tian Sangsang felt an intense sensation of loss, staring after him longingly.
Jiang’s father was equally delighted, taking Meng Shuyan’s hand. Between the two of them, they each had one child to hold.
Most of the guests had already arrived. When Tian Sangsang stepped into the crowd, she seemed to brighten the entire hall. None of the usual post-pregnancy "flaws" appeared on her.
She was as radiant and graceful as ever.
Before, she was like a budding magnolia blossom. Now, she had bloomed into a full, dazzling flower. 𝚏𝕣𝐞𝗲𝐰𝕖𝐛𝐧𝕠𝕧𝚎𝚕.𝐜𝚘𝗺
Once dismissed by the Jiang Family, Sangsang was now standing proudly beside Ye Binyi with her second son in arms—her position in the family could no longer be ignored.
Even without Jiang Jinghuai, the Jiang Family remained opulent. With the first, second, and third households plus the younger generations, the family commanded respect.
Though times had changed, many traditions persisted in different forms rather than vanishing.
Ye Binyi carried Little Tangyuan, moving from table to table, showing him off eagerly.
The crowd couldn’t keep their eyes off him, especially the older guests, who gazed with unrestrained envy.
Little Tangyuan was cooperative. Wide awake, he looked around with big, round eyes, perfectly quiet. Occasionally, he even gave a mysterious little smile, waving his tiny hands in the air. Wrapped in his bright red padded jacket, he exuded undeniable festivity.
Who let this blessed child waltz straight out of a painting?
"What a good-looking boy," someone said.
"Isn’t he adorable? So lively!" said another.
Ye Binyi beamed, "He really is."
Well-wishers chimed in, "You’re so lucky to have two boys."
Ye Binyi repeated cheerfully, "Yes, yes."
"Old Jiang, you’re really fortunate to have such blessings," someone added.
Jiang’s father waved it off humbly, "Oh, it’s nothing."
"My daughter-in-law’s expecting soon. How about we arrange a marriage between our children?"
Jiang’s father responded, "I wouldn’t dare. But I hope you’re blessed with a grandson, too."
Hua Jun and Jiang Jinghuai stepped forward together, their expressions proper and cordial. "Congratulations, Auntie," Hua Jun said warmly.
Ye Binyi felt a mix of joy and sadness.
Happy because Hua Jun had finally found her match. Sad because, well... what an odd situation this all was.
Nodding, Ye Binyi eagerly presented Little Tangyuan. "Ah Jun, take a look. Doesn’t Tang Yuan’er look just like Jinghuai when he was little?"
Her eyes flicked toward the man beside Hua Jun. His face remained stoic, utterly indifferent to the little one in her arms. Ye Binyi could only continue, "Especially those eyes—don’t they look exactly like Jinghuai’s?"
Hua Jun stiffened subtly but responded with a neutral smile, "So the little guy’s called Tangyuan? What a cute name."
Ye Binyi nodded, "Yes, it’s his nickname. His full name is Jiang Huan."
Whatever was being said, Tian Sangsang barely registered. Her sharp gaze locked onto the man across from her, her heart growing colder with every glance. He had not only forgotten about her—he ignored his own son, showing not a shred of fatherly joy.
This was the son she had gone through so much to bring into the world. Yet he couldn’t even spare him a single look.
