Chapter 469: 454 Little Rascals and Girls

The two were talking in the back room when they suddenly heard a noise outside. Tian Sangsang instinctively stood up: "Are you here to buy something? Sorry, the shop is already closed..." As she pulled the curtain aside, she froze in shock. Four rough-looking men dressed in ragged clothes, likely thugs, walked into the store, each holding an iron rod. Some glanced at the products in the shop, while others leered at Tian Sangsang with lascivious eyes.

The shop, Blossoming Years, had already closed, as had most of the stores on the street.

Ji Qin stood on the second floor of the building across the street, hidden in a dark room, quietly lifting the curtain to observe the commotion.

The thugs had been sent in to trash the shop, but upon seeing Tian Sangsang’s appearance, they paused their idle tapping of the iron rods against their palms, all taking a deep breath before letting it out with a guttural "Hah!"

This girl was simply stunning!

These were crude men, lacking the vocabulary for elaborate compliments. All they could think was: Damn, this chick was gorgeous! Fair-skinned, delicate, her complexion rosy, her eyes clear and lively, her figure slim and elegant, her chest neither too big nor too small, and her long legs straight and shapely.

Moreover, if it were any other woman, she’d no doubt already be trembling in fear, screaming for help. But this woman? She was unnaturally calm, exuding a composed air that kept them from underestimating her.

"Gentlemen, are you here to shop?" Tian Sangsang asked with a smile, her gaze steady.

The thugs widened their eyes in disbelief: Damn! This wasn’t how it was supposed to go!

Tian Sangsang’s composure was not baseless—Guan Kunling was there.

Just as her words left her mouth, Guan Kunling emerged from behind the curtain.

The thugs nearly popped their eyes out in shock. Damn, today’s luck was unreal! These two women—polar opposites yet equally stunning. One radiant, the other pure, an incredible rarity. Top-tier beauties, both of them!

They were so stunned that they nearly forgot the mission at hand. These thugs weren’t total rookies nor seasoned pros—it was safe to call them semi-veterans. Confronted by two beautiful women like this, a deep-seated sense of inferiority naturally arose in them. After all, it’s only normal for a man who can’t afford to keep the kind of woman he desires to be filled with self-loathing.

One of the thugs mustered up his courage, unwilling to be looked down on by these two seemingly fearless women. Acting cocky, he whistled and jeered, "Hey, you’ve got some looks, but your eyesight’s clearly not great. You think we’re here to shop? Have you ever seen someone bring iron rods to buy something?!"

Tian Sangsang nodded politely, "Well, it’s my first time seeing it today."

Oh ho! This girl had a bit of sass! But her unfazed demeanor made the group of men increasingly annoyed.

The thug who had spoken pointed his rod at her, glanced around, and then swung it up, ready to smash a glass display case. Just as his hand rose, he screamed in pain, and the iron rod fell heavily to the ground with a sharp clang.

"Who?!" He spun around, looking everywhere in panic. It was as if he’d seen a ghost—just as the rod was about to strike, his hand had been struck by a small pebble. His whole body felt electrically stunned, and he suddenly lost strength.

"What’s wrong, Third?" The others grew nervous and quickly asked.

The third thug snarled, "What are you standing around for? Hurry up and smash the place! Finish the job and get out! If these chicks try to interfere, beat them up too!"

There was no time to lust over beauty now—money was more important! With money, you could get all the women you wanted!

"Hold on!" Tian Sangsang raised a hand, her tone composed and calm: "Gentlemen, there’s no need to panic, nor rush to act. We don’t have any grievances, yet you’ve come to wreck my shop—isn’t that unreasonable?"

"Cut the crap! We’re just doing the job we got paid for! Blame yourself for pissing someone off!"

"Oh? Aren’t you afraid we’ll call the police?"

"Sweetheart," one thug taunted, pointing his rod at her face with a cocky jiggle of his legs, "Go ahead and call! We’re right here—how exactly do you plan to do that? Forget the police; how about keeping us company instead?"

"Keep us company and maybe we’ll consider letting you go~~" they added, bursting into wicked laughter.

"How about this?" Tian Sangsang spoke seriously, her peach blossom eyes narrowing slightly. "If you obediently tell me who sent you, I promise you’ll leave here standing upright, not flat on your back. If not, I’ll have no choice but to repay you in kind."

The thugs furrowed their brows in unison, glaring viciously at her.

Her words sounded eerily like those of a sinister shopkeeper. Creepy!

"Oh ho, big talk!" One thug swung his iron rod toward her, but Tian Sangsang lightly sidestepped. Guan Kunling’s cold voice cut through the air: "Sangsang, just stand there. I’ve had enough of this."

With blinding speed, Guan Kunling seized the thug’s hand, and with a sharp crack, dislocated his wrist. A blood-curdling scream pierced the air. The other thugs snapped out of their shock and rushed toward her!

"Weaklings," Guan Kunling sneered, not even bothering to move much. She grabbed the iron rod of the first thug and tossed it toward their feet, causing them to crumble to the floor. Veins bulged on their foreheads, cold sweat pouring as their legs gave out.

All the thugs were down, writhing and groaning in pain. Guan Kunling’s expression remained icy, unrelenting. With a swift kick to the nearest thug, Sangsang heard the unsettling sound of bones shifting out of place.

"Enough!"

Across the street, on the second floor, Ji Qin’s heart skipped a beat in fright. She tried to see what was happening in the shop but was unable to. Something seemed to be blocking her view. She thought she had heard screams—male screams, not female. But how? Four men couldn’t even handle a pregnant woman and a seemingly powerless girl? No, she must have heard wrong. She had to have heard wrong!

Tian Sangsang was irritated. She had been about to go home for dinner, her hunger nearly unbearable, when these troublemakers caused a delay. Sweeping a cold glance at the subdued thugs, she demanded, "Who told you to come? Ready to talk now?"

"I’ll talk! I’ll talk!" One thug, trembling and tearful, rushed to answer. These women were terrifyingly beautiful, but the silent one—the one who hit them—was even scarier.

"It was Bigfoot Wang! Bigfoot Wang sent us... Ah!!!" His scream was cut short by Guan Kunling’s frosty voice from above: "We don’t know anyone named Bigfoot Wang. Keep talking."

Hearing his companion’s scream, another thug had a flash of insight and quickly wailed, "It was Bigfoot Wang! She said someone named Ji Qin told her to hire us!"

"Yes, Ji Qin! It’s Ji Qin!"

Guan Kunling and Tian Sangsang exchanged a look before asking, "What should we do with them?"

Tian Sangsang frowned: "Send them to the police station!" Let the law deal with Ji Qin!
