Reborn As Noble-Chapter 1126: An Hour Before the Vows ( )
An Hour Before Wedding Time.
Heres was the first to leave the room.
"I’m going, brothers."
"Mm... don’t trip on your way, Heres," Marcellus grinned, wiggling his eyebrows while Cedric chuckled softly.
Javier grinned mischievously, wiggling his body in an exaggerated, teasing motion. "Can’t wait to meet that bratty Kliatana, huh? You’ll have to wait a little longer, Heres~ Just control your... excitement~ I’m sure it’s twitching now~ Eheheeh."
Heres exhaled and grumbled, though a faint smile touched his lips. "Why do you always assume I’m only thinking about sex, little brother?"
"Heh~ Of course~ In just a few months, she melted for you, you two got it on, enjoyed your time, and now she’s pregnant~" Javier then launched into a playful performance, first mimicking a suggestive hip sway before shifting into a waddling walk, one hand on the small of his back, the other resting on an imaginary rounded belly, puffing out his cheeks for effect.
Heres smiled and shook his head, his expression a mix of amusement and resignation. He turned, gave them a final wave, and headed for the door. "I’m going."
"Yeah. Good luck, Heres~" Javier called after him, his voice still dripping with playful teasing.
After Heres left and the door closed, Javier turned and grinned toward Marcellus and Cedric.
"So... excited?"
Marcellus smirked. "Of course. Finally, they’re officially mine~ The beautiful mother-daughter dark elf pair~"
Cedric smiled warmly. "Yeah. Meira and Zania might bicker all the time, but I’m happy with them. I’ve been counting down the days till today. Finally, they’ll be officially my wives after so long." He turned and glanced at Javier, his expression softening with gratitude. "Thank you, little brother. If you hadn’t brought Zania here, I wouldn’t have known I could have two beautiful wives alongside Meira."
Javier crossed his arms and smirked. "Heh. I still remember Meira and Lithia were both my personal assigned caretakers back when I was a toddler. But yeah... fate has a funny way of weaving things together."
"Don’t tell me you still have a heart for my wife?" Marcellus narrowed his eyes playfully at Javier.
"Hah! No way. As long as it’s not Liana, it doesn’t really matter who it is," Javier replied with a casual shrug. "But there’s no way I’m letting Liana be with anyone else. She’s mine."
Javier’s face turned serious, his playful tone shifting into something deeper, more possessive. "And my other girls too. Once they’re mine, they’re mine. I won’t let anyone else lay a finger on them, or even look at them with that kind of intent. They’re my home, my joy, my everything, and I’ll protect what’s mine."
His aura flared, a tangible wave of power that made the air in the room feel heavy. "That applies to everyone." Javier narrowed his eyes, his expression deadly serious as he looked at Marcellus and Cedric.
Marcellus’s aura flared in response, a deep, resonant, almost overwhelming magical pressure that spoke of his title as the strongest mage. He glanced between Javier and Cedric, his usual playful smirk sharpening into something more dangerous. "Same here. Those two are mine. If any of you try some funny business... you know I’ve never really gotten serious in a fight, right~?"
Cedric activated his own aura, a brilliant, radiant pressure of pure paladin energy, steady and unyielding. "Meira and Zania are mine. I won’t let anyone touch them. That also applies to everyone... including you two. Try something, and let’s just say... you won’t find it pleasant."
The pressure in the room tripled, dense and clashing. All three of them smirked, their auras pushing against each other in a silent, competitive display of power.
The maids passing by in the hallway suddenly felt the overwhelming pressure and quickly backed away from the area, exchanging nervous glances.
All three of them kept pushing, their auras growing more intense, until...
A firm, authoritative hand slapped each of them sharply on the back of the head, making all three flinch and drop to their knees on the floor.
"What are you three doing, showing off such heavy auras inside this room, hmm?"
Javier, rubbing the back of his head while kneeling, turned to look, and his eyes widened.
"Ah... esteemed Mother."
Marcellus and Cedric, both kneeling, glanced up and rubbed the backs of their heads.
"Ah... esteemed Mother... we were just... umm... you know... practicing?" Marcellus offered with a sheepish grin.
Cedric let out a nervous smile, averting his eyes. "Y... yeah... we were just... measuring each other’s... umm... power?"
"Oh, really? Hmm?" Francesca smiled sweetly.
A far heavier, yet deceptively gentle, pressure expanded from her, effortlessly pinning all three of them hard against the floor.
"Eeeeppp!!! Mother!!!" Javier tried to push himself up, but couldn’t move an inch. "It’s not my fault! It’s them!"
"Gih! How dare you put the blame on me!" Marcellus strained against the pressure.
"Ah... Mother... I’m not in the wrong here..." Cedric tried his best to push back against the aura.
"Ara~ Didn’t you all say... what was it again? ’Measuring’? Right~?" Francesca said while gracefully turning toward the long couch and sitting down, crossing her legs elegantly. She snapped her fingers with refined poise.
The pressure vanished instantly.
She rested her palm against her cheek, her expression serene. "Next time, don’t do that inside the manor~ If you really want to measure each other’s power, you know you can always ask your father for a ’mock battle’~"
All three of them widened their eyes, rushed toward their mother, and practically clung to her.
"Ehehe~ We don’t need that, esteemed Mother!" Javier rubbed his cheek against her thigh with pleading eyes, while Marcellus hugged Francesca from one side and Cedric clung to the other.
"Yeah... you know, Mother... we... we love you," Marcellus added, his voice unusually earnest.
"Mm... I don’t think it’s best... umm... to trouble Father when he’s already so busy with his responsibilities," Cedric chimed in, his tone soft and persuasive.
Francesca exhaled, shaking her head before gently touching each of their cheeks with her palm, her expression softening. "I don’t know what I’m going to do with all three of my sons."
She looked at each of them, her eyes warm with a mother’s fondness. "Especially you two, who are getting married in an hour. I thought you’d be already prepared and waiting at the designated area. And here I find you all flexing your power and making the entire hallway feel like a battlefield. Do you know how many maids nearly fainted from the pressure?"
