Chapter 113: He Pushed Her

The true meaning of pain dawned on Cassandra in that instant. Her whole world crashed and withered away with what her eyes beheld.

Kela was on all fours, naked and kneeling, while Siroos pounded inside her from behind. Not in her ass but the place he would never invade Cassandra.

Like a feral beast, he grunted heavily with sweat trickling down the grooves of his torso while Kela screeched like a banshee. freeωebnovēl.c૦m

His head thrown back and her dark hair twisted around his wrist, he didn’t even realise his mate had entered his place and was watching him mate with another woman, the woman she had made abundantly clear that she wouldn’t tolerate.

Like an imaginary knife being shoved into her heart and twisted left and right, making it bleed without making it bleed, that was what his every thrust did to Cassandra.

Tears leaked out of her horrified eyes in such abundance that her vision blurred. Dropping to her knees like a woman who had lost everything, Cassandra took her face in her hands and cried out.

"Siroos, why???"

Her throat had constricted so much that her voice hardly came out. She wondered how he was so oblivious that he wasn’t even aware of her presence anymore.

Couldn’t he hear her cries?

Couldn’t he feel her pain through the bond?

Where were all his animal spirits?

How could they let him mate with another female?

She knew she should close her eyes to save some part of her sanity but Cassandra stubbornly watched.

Witnessing how he broke his promises to her.

Every word he had said was a lie.

Sentencing Kela was all an act.

And then Kela turned her head and gave Cassandra the most devious grin, which held her mockery and triumph.

Cassandra lost all her restraint. Getting up she scrambled ahead lunged at the woman who mocked her with her eyes and smile.

Outside, Ames had joined Tara, and they both understood what was transpiring. Knowing there was only one person who could stop it before it escalated into a disaster. It already has but they hoped they could do damage control.

"I will fetch Sera Faris," Ames mumbled with tight lips and Tara solemnly nodded.

Ames hurried along to Faris’s chamber and entered like a lightning bolt. Faris was a heavy sleeper so he had to jolt him awake.

Rubbing his eyes Faris demanded with a grunt.

"Why are you disturbing my beauty sleep?"

"Alpha is pounding some woman and Luna has found that out. She is in his chamber, come before all hell breaks loose," Ames gave a brief version of what was transpiring.

"Fuck!" Faris jerked up from his sleeping place and was running like a madman with Ames on his heels.

Lana and Ranon had just had this beautiful news so he didn’t wish to bother them. Leaving them out he knew it was in his hands to handle the fucked up situation his brother had created.

As Faris pushed open the door and entered the chamber, his heart jumped into his throat, seeing what was transpiring.

Siroos had rage in his eyes, his gold pupils had dulled out in the shade and mingled with the crimson of his wolf. All the love and tenderness seemed to have been sucked away from them, leaving only malicious unfiltered fury. His left hand stretched out and he ferociously pushed Cassandra back as she tried to reach for Kela.

"Nooo!" Siroos bellowed at Cassandra as if she was an intruder and not his mate.

Faris’s legs moved as rapidly as was possible for him but he couldn’t stop Siroos in time from laying his hand on his mate.

Cassandra staggered and then fell back; Faris dived; his arms reached out, and he caught her in them before she landed on the hard floor.

"I got you," Faris calmly whispered but there was nothing calm inside him. Pulling her away from the harm’s way, Faris focused his raging eyes at his brother and yelled out.

"What’s wrong with you?"

Siroos watched him blankly as if his mind was preoccupied.

Faris’s enraged eyes wavered to Kela and he wished to murder the woman on the spot. She cringed away.

"Why intrude?" Siroos asked as if trying to waddle his way through the fog.

Faris ignored him for now and turned his attention to Cassandra and softly asked.

"Are you alright?"

She was a mess; the shock of being pushed by Siroos had eaten away at her sanity, and she could only shake her head. He hugged her close seeing how broken she was right in that moment.

Tears accumulated in her eyes and then she began to hyperventilate remembering the actions of her mate. She clung to Faris for support and wailed.

"Hush! We will get to the bottom of this and I will be on your side," Faris tried to comfort her but knew she couldn’t even understand what he was saying.

"Ames, Tara. Get in here," Faris shouted and both of them rushed in.

"Take your Luna to her chamber, I need to put some sense into my brother." Faris carefully handed over Cassandra to Tara so she could remove her from this suffocating situation.

Once Cassandra was safely at a distance from Siroos, Faris marched up to his brother and punched him in the face with all his might, breaking many of his fingers in the process. Punching Siroos was similar to punching a mountain.

"Fucker!" Faris hobbled on one foot, shaking his broken hand while Siroos sat unfazed, blinking at his brother, trying to understand why his brother had punched him.

He had pulled himself out of Kela who had scurried away in a corner. Siroos sat blankly staring at nothing in particular.

"Get this filth out of here. Hold her somewhere secure. Kill her if she tries to escape," Faris sternly instructed a stunned Ames who had his mouth hanging open.

No one could understand what was happening.

Before Ames could move, Siroos yelled out.

"No one takes my mate." He tried to lunge for Ames but Faris pushed him back and turned his blazing eyes on a crouching Kela. She had triumph coating her eyes now mingled with a light fear.

"Seriously! What did you do to my brother?" Faris had put two and two together by then. She had most likely fed him some kind of potion because no way his brother would fuck her in his right mind and hurt his own mate.

"I am not sure what you are talking about," she feigned innocence.

"Get her out of my sight before I wring her neck," he yelled at Ames again.

The warrior grabbed her hair while Siroos tried to defend her. Faris knew there was only one solution to this disaster.

Cursing loudly he kicked directly in his brother’s balls, the only vulnerable spot which would buy them a few minutes to separate the two.

Siroos doubled over in pain and let out a howl of pain. Ames hauled her away before their Alpha recovered and came for him as well.

Unwantedly, Faris had to call for backup. No way he could handle an Alpha in heat and that too, a drugged one for the wrong woman.
