Her maids had already had lunch while waiting for the Court Session to be over. Likewise, they have never accepted her invitation to join her for a meal yet.

With Evania gone, none of Arabella’s maids were too daring to try stalking Alwin around.

Irene and Carla still had a crush on Alwin but they do not think of him as someone they could pursue. They only admire him from afar since they believe he was far too pretty for them.

Eunice also admired Alwin but she was not as avid as the two. She was calm and collected and seemed to prefer the more masculine and bulky type like Rendell.

Blanca had no one she liked so far, especially since she had not met that many people yet. She was also used to good looks since she had been speaking around with other elves who stayed in the Magic Tower.

{Fine. I’ll eat with you.} Alwin thought it was about her brother’s letter and agreed.

’I wasn’t thinking about my brother’s response but it’s good to know he already sent one,’ Arabella chose not to correct his misconception.

Alwin then entered Arabella’s office and bowed to Arabella before glancing at Blanca and gave a nod to recognize her presence since they were pretending to be lovers. He could not simply ignore her.

Blanca bowed slightly in recognition and Carla and Irene’s eyes sparkled.

Carla and Irene’s thoughts had gone off the charts.

They were so envious of Blanca but likewise happy for her.

After their short exchange, Alwin was back to work and delivered Benjamin’s letter.

"This is His Royal Highness’ reply to your letter," Alwin showed Arabella a fancy envelope. "Will Your Majesty read it now?"

"Yes, please open it," Arabella was already used to Alwin opening her letters for her to check for any spells or poison.

Alwin opened it for her and checked it as usual before handing it to her.

"Please be seated. Let’s eat some refreshments while waiting for lunch to be served," Arabella invited.

Only then did Alwin sit across from her and finally removed his hood.

[Kyahh!! His Eminence is too beautiful indeed!]

Irene and Carla internally screamed and it was loud as hell in Arabella’s head.

’I hope that singer is doing well,’ Arabella had no news about her now but she hoped she was still healthy and performing well as usual.

Once Alwin began eating, Arabella focused on her older brother’s letter.

I must say, you all have grown too quickly over the years.

I am grateful and relieved to know that you understood my worries.

Lobelius is powerful enough to win wars with some kingdoms but joining a war with another continent is quite a challenge that might use a bit too much of our resources.
