Ren Nora leaned back on his luxurious chair and sighed. "Time and time again, the world have proved that we can’t live in harmony without conflict".
"There’s always something to quarrel and fight about".

"I wonder where we got this primal trait from, I wonder if humanity also lived like this and were like this".
He looked at Leon. "In Year 066 A.G, Omnicore soldiers overthrew the government in Neo-Tokara’s first ever coup, claiming they wanted to stop the corruption that had creeped into the political system of the new world".
"But instead of stability after the coup, what followed was revenge, racial tension, and counter-coups".
"Neo-Tokara suddenly became like a lawless Kingdom where Generals competed for the throne".
"The world was on the edge of chaos, but despite and amid all of that chaos, the world reached a delicate balance".
"It was in this same year that Omnicore’s future leader was created, the A.I Construct, Epsilon using archives of the knowledge from before Genesis".
"It makes you wonder where the humans before Genesis got their knowledge from".
"Epsilon was among the wave of the very first fully sentient A.Is to exist, created by Omnicore, and that gave birth to a new race... the race of A.I Constructs".
"The creation of A.I Constructs became the tipping point in the civil war as the Synths became threatened, and those tensions led to the next escalation".
"And then, the Synth War happened".
"In Year 067 A.G, feeling unsafe and unwelcome after numerous high-profile killings and political tension, the Synths attempted to break away completely and form a new nation of Synths as they gave up on a unified Neo-Tokara".
"They called the new nation the Synth Order".
"And of course, Omnicore wouldn’t let them and that ignited the first full-blown planetary civil war after Genesis. It ravaged the entire planet".
"A bloody planetary civil war between Omnicore and the Synth Order was fought for 3 years!" Ren Nora’s emerald eyes gleamed.
"This period is also when the first Ascended completed the first trial in moments of desperation after igniting their catalyst, and with it, they accessed a new rank. The first E Rank Ascended were born".
"It’s also when a barely 3 or 4 year old Epsilon stole the stage, becoming the deciding factor that helped Omnicore to win the planetary war".
"Omnicore won the war in Year 070 A.G, but the Synths still managed to break off from the government, officially becoming the Synth Order".
"They didn’t exactly form a nation like they wanted, but they still managed to form the Synth Order, the faction that survived Omnicore’s pressure".
"In Year 070 A.G, the Federation Era finally started".
"The Hope Era only lasted a decade".
"After the war, Neo-Tokara entered a long age of military rule under the new Omnicore Federation, with only the Synth Order independent and opposing them".
"During this time, the remnants of humanity learned more about the nature of ADE, they also understood Neon Beasts more as the first Ascended failed their trials and became corrupted, turning into Neon Beasts".
"During this time, the Omnicore Federation also learned how to create artificial Neon Beasts".
"Personally, I believe it was this personal advancement and monopolization of knowledge and resources above all others that that led them to deciphering the secrets for the 5th Class, the Quantum Shaper Class".
"And like expected, they monopolized the Class Knowledge". 𝑓𝓇𝘦ℯ𝘸𝘦𝑏𝓃𝑜𝘷ℯ𝑙.𝑐𝑜𝓂
"For the next 80 years, Omnicore ruled with an iron fist, but even in their territories, undercurrents surged and then in the Year 150 A.G, another major coup happened internally with the secret help of the Synth Order".
"Just like the Synth Order rebellion, the coup failed, the Omnicore Federation could not be dethroned but at the end, the Geneforge Clans were formed".
"The Geneforms didn’t succeed in dethroning the Omnicore Federation, but they broke off like the Synth Order, taking a lot of manpower and resources with them and dealing a blow that enabled a new tri-power balance to power-check the Federation".
"The world was still in the Federation Era, but it was no longer just Omnicore at the forefront of power".
"The Synth Order now claimed the Northern Reaches as their territory, while the Geneforge Clans claimed the Southern Biome".
"At the beginning, the Geneforms hid in subterranean laboratories of flesh and bone to escape Omnicore’s violent retaliation for their betrayal".
"This is part of why till today, the cities of the Geneforge Clans have entire subterranean ecosystems built underneath the city".
"And as for Omnicore, they settled in the Central Belt where they focused on building their Empire".
"Through all these eras, the Reclaimer Church lived in the shadows, losing their previous influence and power over the years as they technically became part of the Federation".
"Religion became a tool for the Federation to control the masses".
"But in the Year 170 A.G, Director-Prime Epsilon, the new leader of the Federation gave the Church slight autonomy, granting them their own territory though they were technically still under the Federation".
"The Church grew their territory and built their cities in the Eastern Expanse, developing it and making it fit for living".
"In Year 177 A.G, Director-Prime Epsilon officially announced the Abyssal Scar as a Death Zone".
Leon finally reacted as he raised his eyebrows slightly, but he didn’t interrupt Ren Nora as he let him continue.
Ren Nora paused as if letting the weight of history flow through him before he continued.
"4 centuries later, in Year 583 A.G," he looked at Leon and grinned. "An Omnicore rebel, Ren Nora rose to power, setting the planet on fire once again and with him a new faction rose to power... the FREEGRID COLLECTIVE".
"They claimed the Western Fringe as their territory".
"This is what official history says," Ren Nora chuckled. "But in reality, in Year 583 A.G, a miracle happened and a human was sent from all the way before Genesis to come help the free folks gain their freedom".
"And now in Year 714 A.G, Leon Ardent woke up".
For a long time after Ren Nora was done explaining the history of the world, Leon sat in silence as he let the weight of history wash through him.
The history of Neo-Tokara was long and if anything, though he was already convinced before, Ren Nora’s tale confirmed that this was really Earth.
’Just what happened before Genesis?’ He thought.
Leon leaned back on his chair as Ren Nora stayed patient with him, then he looked the General in the eye and asked. "What is the Abyssal Scar?"
