Chapter 90: Skeletons of Dragons: Saving the Dragons (8)

Optimus Prime, the leader of the Autobots and the last Prime of Cybertron—this was what Drakion had transformed into.

"What the hell is this machine?"

"It gives off a strong, domineering vibe!"

"What the hell is this dragon? It can even transform into mechanical items!"

"It transformed into an unknown car before!"

"It feels like this dragon isn’t from our world..."

"Honestly, if such a dragon were my pet, I’d become the hegemon of this world!"

"I can’t wait to spread the news outside!"

The onlookers were left stunned by Drakion’s transformation into a truck modeled after the Peterbilt 379. And now, as he had taken the form of Optimus Prime, they couldn’t close their jaws—shocked beyond words.

Ding!

[Detection complete. The Mechanical Object that Host has transformed into, according to System Rating, is classified as an SSS Grade Transformation. This is a powerful mechanical form.]

When Drakion heard this, he smiled. As expected of Optimus Prime—even the System rated it at the highest tier. He understood the meaning of an SSS Grade—being a devoted novel and manga reader—but still, he hadn’t expected the System to rate it so highly.

Ding!

[It is detected that due to Host’s special circumstances, Host alone is capable of transforming into this. Other Mechanical Dragon Bloodlines cannot access this form. This transformation is unique to the Host.]

Ding!

[While in transformed form, Host can only utilize the affinities of the Draconic Bloodline. The full abilities can only be accessed in the Mecha Form.]

Drakion read the notifications with a mixed heart. Though he was slightly disappointed that the full capabilities of his Draconic Bloodline couldn’t be used in Optimus Prime Form, being able to wield their affinities alone was already formidable.

Finn, Lizzy, and the other dragons were awestruck—none had ever seen a dragon transform into such a form. It left them questioning how such a bloodline could even exist.

Kaidros and the other dragons narrowed their eyes at Drakion—they could feel the rising danger in his aura. Suddenly, the DracoWolf and DracoMouse lunged toward him.

Their bodies surged with power as they released their Draconic breath.

When Drakion saw this, he activated Optimus Prime’s flight mode, soaring skyward with sleek speed, effortlessly dodging the incoming Draconic breath. In the next instant, he stretched his robotic arms behind him—drawing out two laser guns.

He channeled the Fire Affinity into one gun and the Ice Affinity into the other. One fired a blazing fire laser, the other—an icy beam.

Drakion didn’t aim for their heads or hearts. Instead, he targeted their legs.

The fire laser blasted through DracoWolf’s leg, igniting it into a furious blaze that burned it into ashes.

The ice laser hit DracoMouse, freezing its legs into crystalline ice cubes—then shattering them into glittering shards.

The dragons roared in fury, watching two of their own go down with grievous injuries.

One by one, they unleashed their Draconic skills upon Drakion, who still hovered in the air. But Drakion moved with ruthless grace, dodging each attack. The few he couldn’t avoid—he blasted down with surgical precision.

Then, like a thunderbolt from the heavens, Drakion dived.

He transformed mid-air into his truck form, tires screeching as he blazed across the battlefield with terrifying speed, charging toward the dragons like a beast of steel and fire.

Styrx and Zephyr responded in kind, surging forward with lightning speed—transforming into bolts of living lightning.

Drakion still drove in his truck form, expertly weaving through the thunder and lightning attacks hurled toward him.

As he closed the distance, he transformed into his Optimus Prime Form. With a surge of power, he raised his fist and slammed it into Stryx’s draconic head.

Zephyr seized the moment—lunging forward with jaws wide, aiming to bite Drakion’s head clean off. But Drakion reacted instantly, thrusting both hands upward and halting Zephyr’s snapping maw in a powerful deadlock.

The struggle continued, Zephyr forcing down with relentless strength, trying to crush Drakion.

But time wasn’t on their side. The other dragons were rapidly closing in, eager to strike down the intruder. The closest was Stryx, already recovering from the previous blow.

Drakion made a decisive move—he launched upward slightly, avoiding Stryx’s lunging jaws by inches. Then, twisting mid-air, he turned the sole of his mechanical foot toward Stryx’s skull.

With a sudden burst of jet-powered force, his foot crashed down on Stryx’s head, sending him hurtling into the ground and leaving a deep crater in his wake.

As Drakion landed, he spotted Zephyr charging again—horn-first, and already too close to dodge. In an instant, Drakion caught Zephyr’s charge with both hands, halting him.

Then came the counter.

With brutal precision, Drakion drove his knee upward in a crushing uppercut. Zephyr staggered, his stance faltering.

Drakion didn’t stop there.

His right mechanical fist surged upward in another devastating uppercut—this time to Zephyr’s jaw.

Both Zephyr and Stryx crumpled to the ground, unconscious from the sheer force of Drakion’s onslaught.

Four down. Drakion had already taken down four dragons. Five more to go.

Drax had warned him: be ruthless—or be overwhelmed. Especially now that Kaidros had joined the fray.

Drakion turned to face the Fire Dragon, the Ice Dragon, and the Poison Sisters—all charging at full force, their auras flaring.

"Four against one..." Drakion thought, narrowing his glowing golden optics. "Let’s see how this goes."

And without hesitation, he charged forward—into the storm.

The Poison Sisters released their poison—a swirling green gas—but one thing they didn’t realize was this: poison doesn’t work on machines.

Drakion charged straight through the toxic mist, unbothered. In fact, the haze worked in his favor, concealing his towering figure in its veil.

Within the mist, Drakion activated two bazookas that emerged from his shoulders. His robotic eyes scanned through the gas, locking onto a precise location—right before the four dragons.

Without hesitation, he opened fire.

The dragons, still searching for him, suddenly heard a thunderous screech—something breaking through the air like a missile from another world.

Before they could react, the bombs landed—exploding in front of them, tearing into the ground and hurling earth and sand skyward. Their vision was obscured; the impact made them stagger, their heads spinning with dizziness.

As the Ice Dragon and Fire Dragon regained their balance, they looked up—only to see the towering silhouette of Drakion in his Optimus Prime form.

With a fluid, brutal motion, his metallic elbows swung forward, striking both dragons in the head. They collapsed, unconscious on impact.

Drakion had neutralized them with calculated efficiency. They posed more threat than the Poison Sisters—after all, poison held no power over him.

He turned and swiftly subdued the Poison Sisters as well, knocking them unconscious one after the other.

Only one remained: Kaidros, the Sword Dragon.

Kaidros charged, his single blade-like horn glowing silver, radiating razor-sharp intent—like a rhinoceros bred for war.

Drakion narrowed his optics. A plan took shape.

As Kaidros drew close—just a breath away—Drakion suddenly somersaulted into the air, landing directly on Kaidros’ draconic back.

He gripped the sword horn, halting Kaidros’ charge with a powerful yank.

Then, with a metallic grunt, Drakion planted his feet and lifted Kaidros by the horn, slamming his head into the ground with thunderous force.

He didn’t stop.

Once.

Twice.

Three times.

Four.

Five brutal slams.

Then, with a final roar, Drakion swung Kaidros’ body, hurling him into the skeletal remains of the defeated dragons.

His battle mask slid back with a hiss of compressed steam.

His mechanical voice echoed across the battlefield:

"Don’t you know who I am?"

"I am Optimus Draconic Prime."
