Chapter 27: Battle Between Origin King Realm Beasts (2)

"If it had been your peak, I might have been afraid. But since you are pregnant, then you are just a weakling now!" the tiger roared.

Drake’s jaw felt like dropping when he saw that both beasts could talk this fluently. It seemed those at the Origin King Realm could speak. He then thought of the Wolf Clan that kidnapped him and when he was roasted. He wondered what level of cultivation the Alpha of the pack was.

He was also surprised by the fact that the rabbit was pregnant. He took a peek at the belly of the rabbit and saw it was a bit swollen. He now remembered the tag "weakened" beside the cultivation level of the rabbit.

He sat down as he had turned this scenario into a film; the only thing missing was the snacks to entertain oneself.

"Even though you can’t defeat me," a determined female voice came out from the mouth of the rabbit, even though it wasn’t surprising to Drake, as the rabbit was pregnant.

"Oh, I will see how this is so," the Thunder Tiger roared.

In an instant, both figures had disappeared as they began to fight against one another. One thing Drake noticed was the speed of the rabbit, which surpassed the tiger, while the tiger had a more stable defense than that of the rabbit.

"It seems the rabbit had ingested something or was influenced by something, making it mutate like this," Drax’s voice rang out. Drake nodded because he was surprised by this; rabbits were at the low level of the food chain. It was surprising to see one this strong.

ROAR!

SQUEAK!

Drake turned his attention back to the match as both opponents separated from one another.

"Do you know how long I have been planning for this? For a rabbit like you to become this strong, it must be due to the help of a certain treasure," the tiger said menacingly.

The expression of the rabbit changed, as if it hadn’t expected it to be found out.

When the tiger saw this, it snarled, "It seems that I was right about it. Now the next thing is to kill you and claim hold of it."

"I don’t think so," the rabbit said as it moved towards the tiger, striking it with its hind legs. The battle continued.

Drake, who heard all of this, was surprised by the discussion of the tiger and the rabbit. He surveyed his surroundings and saw a cave not too far from there.

He treaded carefully as he headed toward it, aiming to use the chaos to take hold of whatever treasure they were talking about.

Entering the cave, he surveyed the cave, as he saw some crystals shining in the cave to give it light.

"So shiny," Drake’s eyes shone, glistening with stars, as he saw the crystals. Not wasting much time, he began to harvest them, putting them in the system inventory. He didn’t dare put them in his stomach so they wouldn’t rot.

After dealing with this, he entered farther into the cave until he reached an open space which seemed to be the resting place of the rabbit. The shining crystals were placed in certain parts of the cave like bulbs used on Earth.

He began searching the room but he saw nothing. "Why the hell is there no treasure or something worthwhile here?" Drake cried out.

"It must have ingested all of them so that its delivery would be safe, and also so the talent of its children would be greater than its own. But the treasure that made it mutate should still be here," Drax said.

When Drake heard this, he cursed, "F*ck that rabbit." He began to search around the cave—nothing notable—until he saw a small dead crystal hidden within the shining crystals. If not for his quick eyesight, he wouldn’t have noticed it at all.

"Is this it?" Drake asked as he appraised the crystal...

Ding!

Thunder God Crystal (Fragmented)

Rank: Demi-God Level

A crystal formed when a god dies, forming a crystal related to the god that died. This crystal is only 1/4 of the entire crystal.

When Drake saw this, he was surprised. A God-Level item.

When Drax saw this, his expression was full of shock before he calmed down, touching his invisible beard.

"For such a crystal to be here, it seems that a god had died in this world," Drax said solemnly.

BOOM!

Before Drake could talk, a loud explosion was heard, everywhere shaking. Drake sensed another aura entering the cave, prompting him to hide.

When he saw who entered, he was surprised—it was the rabbit, and it was heavily injured. A huge amount of blood flowed out from its body.

The rabbit hopped towards where Drake had found the crystal before it stopped. Drake, who saw this, knew things had gone terribly wrong.

"You can come out now," the rabbit said, but Drake didn’t move.

"I know you are here. Apart from taking my treasures, you also harvested the Moonlight Crystals. Also, don’t worry, I am on my way to death already," the rabbit’s voice sounded weak at the moment.

When Drake heard the matter of the crystals, he knew he was already caught. He could only blame his greediness for shiny things. Also, he could feel the aura of death circulating around the rabbit.

He exposed himself. If anything went wrong, he could tackle the rabbit, as its combat strength had reduced due to injuries.

"A young child? What are you doing here in the forest?" The rabbit was stunned by Drake’s little figure.

"Hmph," Drake snorted as his eyes turned draconic, looking at the rabbit.

When the rabbit saw this, it was shocked. "Greetings to the Dragons," the rabbit knelt down.

This action surprised Drake, as he had only followed Drax’s instruction to release a little of his Dragon Aura. He never expected it to have such a great effect. This made his lips curl up into a grin.
