Lu Ling thanked the waiter and then asked him to help get Gao Yang into the car. She then told the driver, "To Lijing Hotel."

"Alright!" The driver replied, then started the car toward Lijing Hotel. Lu Ling had already booked a room in the hotel. At the entrance, she helped Gao Yang get out of the car and walked into the hotel.

Gao Yang was drunk, but not to the point of being unconscious. He was a soldier and naturally quite vigilant. At the bar, when Lu Ling approached him, he was already awake but pretended to be asleep upon hearing Lu Ling’s voice. He wanted to see what Lu Ling was up to and where she would take him.

When he saw Lu Ling bring him to the hotel and into a room, his face grew somewhat dark.
