Chapter 177: Do You Want More? *

While Alex was engrossed in the movie he was watching, Aurora occupied her computer room.

Aurora was diligently working on some tasks on her main computer, which she had not been able to access for the past few months.

She had been in the room for what felt like forever, wholly absorbed in her work, and didn’t even notice Alex standing in the doorway.

"Rory, it’s nearly midnight."

Alex’s voice startled Aurora.

"You need to stop what you’re doing right now..." he added as he approached his desk.

"Wow, is it almost midnight already? How does time fly by so quickly?" Aurora whispered in amazement as she glanced at the clock on her computer screen.

She was so busy juggling all those pending jobs that she didn’t even realize she had been sitting there for over two hours!

"What are you doing that makes you so busy?"

Alex asked, standing behind her, to look at her computer. However, he saw only the screensaver, as Aurora had closed everything. His curiosity dimmed as he took her hand.

"How’s your condition? Are you tired?" he asked while they exited the computer room.

Aurora’s heart raced with concern that Alex might not allow her to work here again. She glanced up, noticed him, and quickly shook her head in response.

"No, I don’t feel tired or sleepy at all. I feel better..." Aurora was not entirely truthful; she actually began to feel drowsy now, but still wanted to stay here longer.

Alex’s eyes beamed upon hearing her answer; he halted abruptly, surprised Aurora. "Let’s sleep here tonight, Rory..." He suggested opening the door next to him.

Aurora gasped as she saw Alex opening her bedroom door. Although she wished to sleep in her own bed, it was too small for both of them.

"Alex, do you expect us to sleep here?"

"Hmm... Why do you look surprised?" Alex paused before entering, "Didn’t you want to stay here longer?"

’Heaven! When did he gain the power to read my thoughts?’ she pondered, gazing into his eyes.

"But the bed is so small," she gently reminded him. However, Alex seemed unconcerned and continued stepping into the bedroom, playfully pulling her alongside him.

After gently closing the door behind him, Alex turned to meet her gaze. A warm smile spread slowly across his lips as he noticed the confusion flickering in Aurora’s eyes.

"That’s the point, Rory," he said softly, pulling her into his arms. "We need a cozy little bed... to start bringing a baby into our lives tonight."

His words stunned her, her breath catching as he held her close.

"What..." Aurora began, but her voice trailed off as Alex leaned in and gently captured her lips with his own. freeweɓnovel~cѳm

The kiss was unexpected but too lovely to be unwelcome. Though surprised, Aurora didn’t pull away. Instead, her hands instinctively rose, wrapping around his neck, drawing him in.

His lips were firm yet tender, coaxing her to relax. As his tongue touched her gently and reassuringly, she let herself express her feelings.

Her heart quickened, and every nerve in her body hummed with anticipation as his hands slid gently up her back, then to the nape of her neck.

Each time he deepened the kiss, a soft moan escaped her, echoing the quiet passion building between them. He sucked gently on her tongue, his touch both commanding and reverent.

Just as she began to lose herself in the moment, leaning into the intensity of his kiss, he slowly began to pull back.

His lips lingered, then parted from hers, leaving her breathless.

When their eyes met, she saw it—it was an unspoken promise in his gaze. Tonight, there would be no holding back.

As if caught in a gentle spell, Aurora lay on the bed, her eyes wide and full of anticipation as she watched him. Slowly, deliberately, Alex began to undress, his gaze never leaving hers.

Each piece of clothing fell away until only his black boxers remained, and the soft lamplight cast warm shadows across his skin.

He stepped toward her, and their new life as husband and wife truly began in that tender, charged silence.

...

The morning sunlight softly peeked through the slightly open curtains, casting a warm, gentle glow across the room.

Aurora stirred gently, her eyelashes fluttering open as she sensed the dull ache in her body, remnants of the passionate night they shared.

Every muscle aches, yet she smiles. It was a sweet soreness, a reminder of how many times they had made love, over and over, as if trying to make up for every lost moment.

Her cheeks gently flushed at the memory; their wedding night had truly been consummated, not out of rushed obligation but through love, passion, and desire. She felt complete, fulfilled, and safe.

Instead of rising from bed, she let out a contented sigh and nestled closer to the warm body beside her.

Alex’s arms instinctively tightened around her waist, pulling her into his chest as if, even in sleep, he refused to let her go.

Aurora smiled, pressing her face gently against his bare chest and listening to his heart’s slow, steady beat.

She didn’t want to move—not yet. In his embrace, everything felt right.

They embrace for a few more minutes in silence.

Alex stirred faintly, his hand brushing along her spine in a lazy motion.

"Rory, are you still sleepy?" he murmured, his voice husky with sleep.

"Very," she shyly whispered. "And sore..."

He chuckled quietly, eyes still closed. "You’re the one who kept asking for more, remember?"

Aurora playfully pinched his side.

"Mr. Graystone, you didn’t have to be so good at it." She feels her cheek burning.

Alex laughed and kissed the top of her head. "No regrets then?"

"None," she whispered, smiling. "Last night... was perfect."

"Do you want more?"

"No, thank you, sir! I’m extremely exhausted and just wanted more sleep! At least for now."

A comfortable silence settled between them, their legs tangled beneath the sheets.

Alex wrapped his arms around her, allowing her to sleep peacefully in his embrace. Enveloped in each other’s arms, they drifted back into a light sleep.
