Ruby didn’t let his words get to her! She glared at him intensely, every inch of her body radiating unwavering fury.
"Are you sure about that? If you don’t surrender, we’ll do our best to kill everyone here."
The majin rebutted, his tone still flat and emotionless, but there was now a slight hint of annoyance breaking through.
But with a shrug of her shoulders and a frown on her face—
"I’m not stupid. Their safety isn’t guaranteed just because I surrender to you guys, it’s even the opposite."
Ruby declared that with a firm and defiant tone, her jaw clenched.

Ruby’s eyes widened after hearing his words. Her heartbeat quickened, but she did not hesitate.
"EVERYONE, HIDE BEHIND ME!!!"
She exclaimed in urgency. Her voice thundered loudly, sharper than before.

The students, staff, and the others immediately ran toward Ruby in panic, their footsteps overlapping chaotically as they scrambled for safety. They knew things were about to go ugly.
